- God of gods...tear my idols down...
Introduction: 1. In my life, I must say I never knew God. I must say my parents did not force me to learn about a Creator, a Savior, or a Sustainer. I was a typical product of America. I spent my youth learning how to make friends and play baseball, perhaps other sports as well. I learned how to fish, how to hunt, how to chase girls, and mostly how to desire for money and success. 2. It seems from a child, I can remember being taught in America if you had enough money then you could do anything. I have had many friends, relatives, now co-workers, and others dream about becoming extremely successful and rich. If I had a million dollars, if I win the lottery, if I invent the next thing-a-ma-bob, if I could get on shark tank, If I could get on a singing show, etc… then I would not have a worry in the world. 3. I have spent my entire life seeking after money, success, and all kinds of other idols. It seems that because most of knowledge, understanding, creativity, success, etc… do not include the What would Jesus do (WWJD)? We have lost the American dream by worshipping the idol success in the temple of money. I. There is a God and no matter what you think He is what He is A. It is God’s way or it is not the way (Our perception does not change reality) 1. As a man thinks in his heart so is he (Prov 23:7) a. Proverbs 23:6-7 KJV Eat thou not the bread of him that hath an evil eye, neither desire thou his dainty meats: (7) For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee. 2. Many cults, religions, and mystics have experiences a. How many stories have been told of an experience they have had. What are the point of these stories? We do not need to tell of experiences, we need to tell the truth of God’s love. Jesus did not say what you will experience will set you free but He said “the truth will set you free” John 8:32 b. Many people say they hear angels, God, dead people, and that a voice talks to them. God does not whisper in your ear or mind but has spoken through His word. It is up to us to remember His commands and do them. B. Many today do not know God, either due to ignorance or obstinacies 1. Do you care at what table you sit at? (1 Cor 10:21-22) a. 1 Corinthians 10:21-22 KJV (21) Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils. (22) Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he? b. We need to be careful who and what we are receiving from. 2. We are ignorant (Eph 4:17-19) a. Ephesians 4:17-20 KJV This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, (18) Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: (19) Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. (20) But ye have not so learned Christ; b. We can be like Jesus by obeying or we can be like our neighbor, which do you want? C. Our minds, hearts, and children are becoming so darkened that God is giving up on us 1. Many do not recognize God as God (Rom 1:20-25) a. Romans 1:20-25 KJV For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: (21) Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. (22) Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, (23) And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. (24) Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: (25) Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 2. Many are calling their sin, God. (Rom 1:26-32) a. Romans 1:26-32 KJV For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: (27) And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. (28) And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; (29) Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, (30) Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, (31) Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: (32) Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. b. How many people today are saying God made me this way, therefore it is God will that I change from a woman to man or a man to a woman, or to be homosexual. It is not God’s will for sin to control mankind. II. Each person here has a measure of faith to know God exists A. Every Design had a Designer 1. The watchmaker a. Someone has given me an illustration of a watch b. The idea is that for all of this world to happen by accident or mere chance is like me taking the parts of a pocket watch, putting them into a bag, shaking the bag and its contents up, then reaching my hand into the bag and pulling out a put together, complete and working pocket watch. c. You and I both know you can not put the right parts in a bag shake it up and have a complete product. You see each part of a pocket watch has a design and a purpose. d. Each gear, piece, bearings, and shafts all depend on the others for it proper working order. e. The watch would never work unless an intelligent being put each piece in its proper place so that it would run correctly. f. God is the watchmaker g. God is the one who put each part of this universe together h. He is the source of all things. i. He is the intelligent being that put everything in its place. 2. No one can please God unless they understand who He is (Heb 11:6) a. Romans 12:3 KJV For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. b. Hebrews 11:6 KJV But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. B. God is Faithful to keep His word 1. What is the New Testament or Covenant? a. It is Jesus Will for us to obey. It is the agreement between God and man if they want to be saved. God says I will perform all of these things (promises and rewards) and we say we will obey and follow Jesus. 2. Are we keeping our agreement with the Creator? Our Savior? C. God never gives a command we cannot perform 1. How do you love God? (John 14:15) (1 John 5:2-3) a. John 14:15 KJV If ye love me, keep my commandments. b. 1 John 5:2-3 KJV By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. (3) For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. 2. What will we be judged by? (John 12:47-48) a. (47) And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. (48) He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. III. How do we know God’s Will? A. Knowledge of God’s Written Word 1. Study God’s word (2 Tim 3:16-17) a. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 KJV All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: (17) That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. 2. Jer_23:22 But if they had stood in my counsel , and had caused my people to hear my words , then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings. c. Jer_6:19 Hear, O earth: behold, I will bring evil upon this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not hearkened unto my words, nor to my law, but rejected it. 2. If we “love” God Then we must do what He has commanded a. If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it. c. 2 John 1:9 KJV Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. Micah 2:7 KJV O thou that art named the house of Jacob, is the spirit of the LORD straitened? are these his doings? do not my words do good to him that walketh uprightly? 2. Look at the reward when we obey (Rev 22:14) a. Revelation 22:14 KJV Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. IV. Each one of us can do the simplest things to serve God and not ourselves A. Look at this parable of the talents (Mathew 25:14-30) 1. We all have talents 2. 2 used their talents and more was given. 1 Did not and his was taken away. B. Look what is included after it (Mathew 25:31-46) 1. You may say what talents do I have? 2. Listen to what the Lord said after His lesson on talents: a. Matthew 25:31-46 KJV When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: (32) And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: (33) And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. (34) Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: (35) For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: (36) Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. (37) Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? (38) When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? (39) Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? (40) And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. (41) Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: (42) For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: (43) I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. (44) Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? (45) Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. (46) And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. b. There is not a human here that does not eat, that does not drink, that does not understand when a person has hit bad times and has no clothes, that does not understand what being sick means, and that does not understand when someone is put into prison. We all can reach out and provide the needed things for anyone. Just a side note: in roman prisons they did not feed you, someone had to provide you with food or you died. c. We all have these talents. Have you used yours lately? Conclusion: 1. Mark 12:29-31 KJV And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: (30) And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. (31) And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these. 2. Are you keeping the commandments of God? God asks, are you learning my words? Jesus said “Matthew 11:28-30 KJV Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. (29) Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. (30) For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” 3. Jesus also said “John 10:9-11 KJV I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. (10) The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. (11) I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” 4. Perhaps you were following Jesus and forsook your Lord like I did, remember this scripture “Hebrews 13:5 KJV let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” 5. God’s says in 2 Peter 3:9 KJV The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” Father we renounce anything unholy and ask you would grant us repentance and mercy in Jesus of Nazareth's name amen.
- Do you know judge Jesus…
Do you know judge Jesus… …listen to what is written of him in the New Testament of Christ which is the new agreement between God and mankind… One only is the lawgiver and judge even he who is able to save and to destroy but who are you the judge your neighbor…that in the name of Jesus…every knee should bow of things in heaven and things on earth and things under the earth and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father…though he…Jesus was a son yet learned obedience by the things which he suffered and having been made perfect he became unto all them that obey him…the author of eternal salvation…we must all be made known or manifest before the judgment seat of Christ that each one may receive the things done in the body according to what he had done whether it be good or bad… Jesus of Nazareth died on the cross and was raised from the dead three days later so that you would never have to choose a wrong thing again so that you would never be overcome by evil and so that you could do all the good that you could think of… have you heard the good news that Jesus died and was raised from the dead so you never have to choose a wrong or evil thing again? Yes or no? Jesus died so that you could be forgiven and so you never have to choose the wrong thing again…Jesus says whoever hungers and thirst after being right with God…right with Him…Jesus…his ways will be your soul’s fill…You want to know how to live your life right…ask Jesus he'll show you how…but you have to practice truth and righteousness…you have to obey the truth and do what's right… Salvation requires obedience…Jesus is the author of salvation to all those that obey him not to all those that believe. Some have the knowledge that he died on the cross and was raised…such as satan…satan himself knows Jesus died and was raised from the dead but does not obey him. Knowledge does not save you obedience to the truth saves you… Jesus said he that believes and is baptized will be saved he that does not believe or chooses to disobey the good news…one who rejects the message they never have to choose a wrong thing again…we'll be damned. These they do not obey Jesus will burn in hell forever in the hottest fires ever created…Forever…being destroyed with eternal destruction. In the hottest fires never consume forever being destroyed… Do you believe Jesus of Nazareth died on the cross and was raised from the dead three days later yes or no? Will you be baptized in the Christ? Yes or no? Have you ever been baptized in the Christ before…yes or no? Do you still believe in your salvation? Yes or no…or do you still believe in your baptism yes or no? Romans 10:9-11 because if thou shalt confess with thy mouth Jesus as Lord, and shalt believe in thy heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved: 10 for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the scripture saith, whosoever believeth on him shall not be put to shame. Romans 6:1-11 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid. We who died to sin, how shall we any longer live therein? 3 Or are ye ignorant that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? 4 We were buried therefore with him through baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection; 6 knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away, that so we should no longer be in bondage to sin; 7 for he that hath died is justified from sin. 8 But if we died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him; 9 knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death no more hath dominion over him. 10 For the death that he died, he died unto sin once: but the life that he liveth, he liveth unto God. 11 Even so reckon ye also yourselves to be dead unto sin, but alive unto God in Christ Jesus. Pray with me? Father we renounce anything unholy and pray that you would teach us what is holy and true and right we pray you'd meet our soul’s deepest needs for salvation that You would heal our soul’s deepest needs for salvation that we may prosper and be in health as our soul prospers and we might develop a character fit for heaven and yes I have been baptized into Christ and Yes I still believe Jesus is the Only Son of God…in Jesus of Nazareth name Amen.
- Apply the laws of God with the mercy of God in good faith…
Apply the laws of God with the mercy of God in good faith… Jesus talking to the religious leaders of his day said as it is written warning until you scribes those that made copies the law and Pharisees those that really preached the law, you pay tithe 10% of mint and anise and cummin and have admitted the weightier matters of the law… judgment, mercy, faith, these thoughts you have done and not to leave the other undone… How many of you know every law in your state? How many would like to be warned before they're punished… these Pharisees were warned these scribes were warned. They were told they were worried about how much money they give instead of treating people right. How many of you ever been like I don't know I don't want to hear his opinion on the matter he always would send me to hell? We are to be about God's law about what is judgment would be about showing mercy instead of punishment about warning people…I mean God warns us before he punishes us right shouldn't we do at least the same… Jesus said blessed are the merciful when they shall obtain mercy if you're in a position of judgment you better show mercy or you will have no mercy… Jesus said blessed are those that hunger and thirst after righteousness for they will be filled… do you really want what's right with God or are you just trying to make a paycheck? Pray with me Father we pray that You would help us to apply the law of You with the mercy of You that we might have proper judgment and that we might be merciful that we might be shown mercy in Jesus of Nazareth name Amen
- Love not this world…
Love not this world… Love not this world here in the end times when the end is near you want some instruction try to get you to heaven and not to burn in hell you want instruction on how to leave temptation and how to be saved listen to what is written here: love not the world neither the things that are in the world if any man loves the world the love of the Father is not in him for all that is in the world the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and the vain glory or pride of life, is not of Father but is of the world and the world passes away and the lust thereof but he that does the will of God abides forever…therefore let him that thinks he stands take heed unless he fall there has been no temptation taken you but such as man can bear…you haven't been tempted with anything that other men have been tempted with…but God is faithful who will not suffer you to be tempted above that which you are able but with the temptation make also the way of escape that you may be able to endure it…wherefore my beloved flee from idolatry…be subject therefore unto God…your Creator but resist the devil and he will flee from you… The devil will come out for you the easy way…he'll offer you the easy way…instead of the way of truth and righteousness. Perhaps he offers you a way…where you can lie, steal, and cheat, your way through instead of being honest and doing what's right. You got to want what's right… You got to see what's right…and You got to do what's right. Do you hunger and thirst for righteousness? Yes or no…Do you really want to be right with God…Do you really want to be right with your fellow man…then do not fall for temptation. Let Jesus of Nazareth be your only source…and supply. Be like daddy Jesus, can I? Daddy Jesus, may I? Daddy Jesus, will you? Daddy Jesus look what they're doing to me… Will you pray with me? Father, we renounce anything unholy and ask you would free us from this world and its temptations in Jesus of Nazareth name Amen.
- Study to show yourself approved…
Study to show yourself approved… 2 Timothy 2:15 Give diligence to present thyself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, handling aright the word of truth. Philippians 2:12-13 So then, my beloved, even as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; 13 for it is God who worketh in you both to will and to work, for his good pleasure. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 Every scripture inspired of God is also profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction which is in righteousness: 17 that the man of God may be complete, furnished completely unto every good work. John 8:31-32 Jesus therefore said to those Jews that had believed him, if ye abide in my word, then are ye truly my disciples; 32 and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Matthew 11:28-30 Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. 2 John 1:2 for the truth's sake which abides in us, and it shall be with us forever: 2 John 1:9-11 Whosoever goes onward and abides not in the teaching of Christ, hath not God: he that abides in the teaching, the same hath both the Father and the Son. 10 If any one cometh unto you, and bringeth not this teaching, receive him not into your house, and give him no greeting: 11 for he that giveth him greeting partakes in his evil works. Father, please help us to be true and faithful in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.

- After baptism then what…Listen to some instructions given by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit through the apostle Peter…found recorded in 2 Pet 1: 5-8…
After baptism then what… Listen to some instructions given by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit through the apostle Peter…found recorded in 2 Pet 1: 5-8… yes, and for this very cause adding on your part all diligence…this is a promise with conditions…as my part and then there is God's part. My part is supposed to supply all diligence…what is diligent? It means giving all your effort…to love God with all your strength…to be single minded. In your faith (obedience to the truth) supply virtue…moral excellence. It is written in the prophets that if you practice God's word with an upright heart obeying His word does you no harm…you've been baptized…you have faith in Jesus… your Savior died for you and was raised so that you could be forgiven. You must supply the I want to do it right. You have to supply the hunger and thirst for righteousness… Jesus will help you, but you got to want to do right and be right… so add to the faith that you have moral excellence or virtue...the I want to do it right. And then add to your virtue…knowledge. Add the know-how to do something like Jesus…I want to do right by the knowing of what is right. Knowledge is lack of ignorance and ignorance is lack of knowledge. After you got the I want to and the I know how to…then plan your work and you work your plan… add to your knowledge self-control. The doing of it…the practicing of the truth learning that way didn't work, try a different way that does. Just make sure your actions or deeds do not offend God. You keep trying to apply the knowledge without offending God… and then your self-control becomes patience or endurance under trials. In other words, the more you know, the more you're able to do. The more you're able to be faithful with, the more enduring you will go through. Remember the Lord won't give you more than you can handle and with the way of temptation he'll provide a way out…but some of us go running into temptation wanting to meet sin…instead of running away from the tempter… So, we add to our doing of knowledge self-control applied through patience or endurance and then we add to the endurance of trials a character of godliness. What is a natural result of going through a trial and doing what Christ said do? Right doing or a character of right doing called…Godliness. In other words, we become Christ like with this natural progression and the adding to your faith virtue or moral excellence. You learn the truth in Christ producing knowledge…then you learn to apply with self-control which produces patience because you're having to apply self-control under trials. Applying God's word properly with knowledge, remembering the truth, and how to walk in the spirit. The natural result of applying God's word and walking in truth and spirit is godliness and to a character of godliness…we can add brotherly kindness. By being kind or sharing the same love with the brethren other Christians. When we love other Christians s as ourselves instead of just being a good person…when we try to share our goodness or what God has given us with others or increasing in brotherly kindness. Then we add to brotherly kindness love for all men, showing mercy to those who cannot repay…we are adding love to brotherly kindness…Peter says if these traits be in you and abound you will not be barren or unfruitful you'll have fruit fit for heaven… In John's revelation one of the churches is told to buy gold tried in a fire…that means eternal treasures…a work that will abide in heaven…saving a soul…feeding a Christian…helping a widow…helping an orphan…developing a character full of deeds and treasures fit for Heaven our eternal home. We are called to be a good person until your kindness overflows to others and then you develop a character of godliness, and you’d be like Christ. Sharing Christ and Christ blessings with others this is called agape love this is the highest form of love it's brotherly love for all men not just Christians. It's wanting what's best for the other guy…So what we have here is a formula on how to grow out of baptism into the mature Christian becoming Christ learning to develop a character fir for heaven our eternal home. Father, help us to grow and learn to be just like Jesus and You…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.
- After baptism then what…part 2…
After baptism then what…part 2… Listen to some instructions given to the Roman Christians some of which had lost their faith and had been reminded in chapter 6…they had been baptized in the Christ. Reminded in chapter 8 of the promises found in Christ and reminded in chapter 10 that if they still believe in their heart confess with their mouths they will be saved. Listen to some basic instructions after baptism then what…found in Romans chapter 12… for I say through the grace that was given me to every man that is among, you are not to think more highly than he ought to think of himself but to think as soberly according as God has dealt to every man the measure of faith. All of us have the ability to believe and obey God…there are those that do not choose to obey. There are those of us that knows God always provides us a way to be faithful and abide in the truth. …and having different gifts according to the grace or the unmerited favors, that was given to us whether it be truth telling or prophecy…let us prophecy or tell forth the truth, according to the proportion of our faith or in serving or in ministry, let us give ourselves to servitude or ministry… he that teachings to his teachings or he that encourages to the exhortation he that gives so let him do so with liberality…he that rules with diligence…he that shows mercy with cheerfulness…and everything you do be an example to others and be like Christ… …verse 9 let love be without hypocrisy or love works no ill will, abhor that which is evil cleave to that which is good, turn from the evil, the wrong doer, and leave the liar…abide in truth, in love of the brethren and tenderly affection, in honor preferring each other, in diligence not slothful, fervent in spirit…serving the Lord…knowing whatever job you do you're doing it for Jesus, rejoice in hope, be patient tribulation, continually steadfastly in prayer…whatever you do pray about it, communicating to the needs of the Saints, given to hospitality, bless them that persecute you, bless and do not curse, rejoice with them they rejoice, weep with them that weep, be of the same mind towards one another…to summarize verse 21…be not overcome of evil but overcome evil with good deeds… Jesus said bless your enemies…pray they might find repentance before God…before it's everlastingly to late…or they be sentenced to hell forever. Pray for your neighbor…pray for your husband…pray for your wife…You can't do anything but pray for them and set a good example…our source has to be Jesus the Christ of Nazareth…He is the only source we can receive from…He wants to be first place in our lives…He has to rule our hearts not just be in it…He has to be the decision that makes all of our decisions…He is my Truth…He is My Life…He is my Way…His forevermore…Amen.
- So after being raised in baptism...then what...
So, after you believe in the good news that Jesus died so you never have to choose wrong…after you've been baptized after your baptism in the Christ…died to yourself and been raised with Christ and as a new life for eternal life then what… listen to the instructions found written to Christians in Colosse… if then you were raised together with Christ seek the things which are above where Christ is seated on the right hand of God…what are we supposed to seek Christ’s will…who's seated at the right hand of God… set your mind on things that are above not upon the things of the earth… in John's revelation were instructed to get gold tried in a fire in other words heavenly treasure eternal reward… for you have died and your life is hid with Christ in God when Christ to is our lives shall be made known then shall you be with him made known in glory… …put to death therefore your members which are upon the earth: fornication…no sex outside of marriage, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, covetousness…which is idolatry… …for which things sake come the wrath of God upon the sons of disobedience wherein you once walked when you lived in these things but now do you also put away all these: anger, wrath, malice…ill will, railing, shameful speaking out of your mouth, lie not one to another seeing you have put off the old man with his doings and put on the new man that is being renewed unto the knowledge after the image of him that created him… verse 12…put on therefore as God's elect holy and beloved a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, meekness, long-suffering, forbearing one another, forgiving one another, if any man has a complaint against any, even as a Lord forgave you so also do you… …forgive…and above all these things put on love which is the bond of perfectness or completeness and let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts to which you were called in one body and be thankful…let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another in songs hymns and spiritual songs singing with grace in your hearts unto God and whatsoever you do in Word or deed do all in the name of the Lord Jesus giving thanks to God the father through Him… These instructions were for Christians who had just been baptized into Christ…Some of us are beginning life new in Christ….Some are needing to revisit our beginning…remember what it was like being baptized coming out of the water…having been made a new creature…having been sanctified…having been cleaned…having been dead and raised a new creature…many of us need to reflect on these basic Christian virtues and morals the shunning of evil and the doing of good…the godly sorrow of God I need to be right with you…the confession of sinful desires and deeds…the forsaking of evil and returning to loving our neighbor as ourselves without harming another soul… Remembering these words… …you will love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength. 31 The second commandment besides the first…is this, you will love your neighbor as yourself…treat others the way you want to be treated…There is no other commandment greater than these two…Mark 12:30-31 Father, please grant us repentance and mercy that we might be saved in Jesus and Nazareth name Amen.
- Jesus died so you could do no evil...sound like good news...
Jesus died so you could do no evil… listen to what is written in the New Testament of Christ which is the new agreement between God and mankind… As it is written…all have sinned and come short of the glory of God…all have done evil and come short of the holiness, the perfection, the glory of God. God is sinless…Holiness is His number one attribute in my humble opinion… For the wages of sin is death…the doing of evil in God’s eyes should be punished with death…which is separation from His fellowship…However, Our Creator is the Father of Mercy and God is merciful and shows mercy to all those that change their mind from doing evil. The wages of sin is death but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord Jesus died so that all your wrongs could be forgiven and to teach you how to never to do wrong again. So that you can live right before your creator and fulfill your plan and purpose in life in eternity… Jesus said unto him I am the way the truth and the life no man comes to the father except through me…Jesus says he's the only way to be saved you cannot be reconciled to the Father unless you come through Jesus Christ… Jesus said truly I say unto you except you turn as in…except you repent…accept you turn to me as daddy Jesus…and become as little children you shall in no wise enter into the Kingdom of heaven. Jesus says He's has got to be first place…He's got to not just be in your heart he's got to rule your heart! You have got to do his will over your own will. You have to surrender and put Jesus 1st and anyone else second. Jesus said he that believes and is baptized shall be saved but he that disbelieves or chooses to ignore the message that they never have to do evil we'll be damned... Jesus the Christ of Nazareth died on the cross was raised from the dead three days later so that all your wrongs could be forgiven. He never broke one of the 10 commandments but was punished as if he had broken all ten commandments. He did so in order to show mercy and redeem us and pay for our sins. He's the only qualified of God or as it is written: For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life for God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world but that through his son the world might be saved. Jesus also said… John 12:46-48 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me may not abide in the darkness. 47 And if any man hear my sayings, and keep them not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. 48 He that rejects me, and receives not my sayings, hath one that judges him: the word that I spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day… 2 Corinthians 5:10-11 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. 11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences. Do you believe that Jesus the Christ is the son of God the only qualified of God the savior of mankind? The one that can pay for your sins and forgive you and reconcile you to your Creator? Do you believe Jesus Christ is the son of God? yes or no? To those of you have been baptized before…do you still believe you were baptized…you still believe in your baptism? yes or no? Those of you that never heard of Jesus Christ…will you agree to read the New Testament of Christ? You can find a free copy for your phone or your PC at https://www.e-sword.net./downloads.html There's a passage in Matthew 11:28-30…where Jesus basically gives a promise…that if you want freedom from evil or rest for your soul…He will teach you the truth and free you up so you can choose all the good you want to do, as long as you practice the truth and righteous…here is what is written: Matthew 11:28-30 Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Do you want a light and easy burden? Yes or no? Jesus of Nazareth said blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness for they will be filled. Do you want to know how to live your life right and fulfill your plan and purpose? Do you want to know how to feed yourself right? Do you want to know the truth every day? So that you'll know how to avoid doing wrong and evil? Do you want to do evil or do you want to do what's right? I myself…want to do what's right. I'm myself…I will obey the truth first then do what is right by others and myself…there is wisdom in the simplicity of Christ…we simply obey his commands and that obedience saves us from evil…Jesus said if you love me keep my commandments and He said the first commandment is to love God with all of your heart, mind, soul, spirit, and strength, and the second greatest commandment is to love your neighbor as yourself…Mark 12:29-31. Prove all things hold fast to that which is good…overcome evil with good-will…love conquers all…pray for your enemies to turn from evil and repent…forgive others or you cannot be forgiven…blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy… Father forgive me…I have at times done wrong or chosen to do evil, even I have in the past…told the first lie, I am no better than the devil himself…please grant mercy and repentance…please remove or reprove and correct any knowledge of evil in me…I renounce anything unholy and ask that I may be pure in heart and see You my God…discerning and fulfilling my plan and purpose in Jesus the Christ, Your only Son, and Yes I still believe in my baptism and I have been crucified with Him and raised in His likeness…please create me even a new creature again that I may be right before You…In Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.
- Hey, have you ever heard of karma or reaping what you sow?
Hey, have you ever heard of karma or reaping what you sow? If you do good, then good happens to you if you do bad then bad happens to do you? Do you want better? We get what we give… Listen to what is written to Christians through inspiration of the Holy Spirit found written in the New Testament of Christ which is the new agreement between God and mankind… …but this I say he was so sparingly shall reap also sparingly and he was so bountifully shall reap also bountifully...commonly called karma...Jesus said the second commandment…2nd to the 1st… you should love God with all your heart mind soul spirit and strength is to love your neighbor as yourself…to treat others as you would like to be treated. Listen to what is written to Christians as instructions to live by… …advice to heed…with good service…with goodwill service as to Jesus…as to the Lord and not to men knowing that whatsoever good thing any man does the same shall he receive of the Lord whether he be bond or free…whether he be a slave to others or free men in Christ. If you treat others like Jesus…your treatment will be returned blessed back on your head! Jesus said is more blessed to give than to receive. If you treat others like a baby…like pretend they are baby Jesus…asking what does baby need? What can I do for baby to help baby? Then you will be helped, and your needs will be met… This life is cruel but don't let it make you bitter, let it make you better. Someone burned a bridge for you build one for your children…treat others like yourself. Jesus says don't even come worship him unless you've made it right with your brother…if you'd done him a wrong deed…then go make peace and reconcile…Jesus says if you love me keep my commandments and his commandments are not hard to do, you're supposed to love your neighbor as yourself and God with all your heart mind soul spirit and strength. Do as much good as you can think of today. Help as many people as you can today. Say a word of encouragement…give a compliment…a smile. Perhaps, today say a prayer for your enemies they might find repentance and salvation…Jesus says we cannot be forgiven unless we forgive others…so I forgive all created…got no limits for forgiveness but limit my presence in your lives…forgive and you will be forgiven…blessed are the merciful for they will obtain mercy… Jesus’ instruction was to watch and pray in his parable of the virgins…to be prepared to watch and pray for we know not when he's coming. Jesus said that his coming will be like lightning…what is it with lightning? Everyone that sees lightning knows it's unpredictable. It can happen at any time but when lightning strikes or flashes everyone sees but no one can predict. Jesus is coming soon are you prepared? Are you watching? Are you praying? Are you doing God's will? If you died right now, then would you go to heaven? Yes or no? Jesus in the parable of the prodigal son basically said don't matter what you done son just come home... It is written in the book of Hebrews that Jesus can save us to the uttermost of our existence... In 1 Corinthians 10:13…we're told that there's a temptation in trial that is common to every man and that no trial or temptation that has come upon us is not common to others. We are not alone in this…other people have been tempted with what we are being tempted with… In John's revelation there is the hour of temptation that all men must face, except the one spared and if you believe Jesus is coming soon then you must know there will be temptations…there will be trials…but Jesus says through inspiration of the Holy Spirit to the Corinthians…There will be no trial or temptation greater than you can endure but with the trial and temptation God will be faithful and make a way of escape that you may be able to endure…survive it… Will you repent…change your heart…mind…direction and turn towards Jesus? Yes or no? Let him be your only source you cannot sit at other tables and serve Jesus. Jesus has to be first place in your heart He doesn't want to be in your heart…He wants to own your heart…He wants to rule your heart…He wants to give you peace and satisfaction for your soul…So that you can rest from doing evil and do the most good you can do! Does this sound like good news to you? The Jesus of Nazareth the only Fathered of our Creator as it is written…for God so loved the world…our Creator so loved the world that he gave his only begotten his only Fathered Son…the only human he created through a virgin by overshadowing her with the Holy Spirit…providing the man's part of the DNA Mary providing the woman's part of the DNA and Jesus being made perfect remained uncorruptible and never violated never did a wrong thing never violated the commandments of God. Being God, the only God became a Son of Man…the only qualified One sent to save us from our evil deeds. God showing there is nothing He will not do to reconcile with you if you will just live in the fear and truth of God and do His goodwill...Jesus lived under the law of the knowledge of good and evil taught to us by the God of Abraham Isaac Jacob which became the Jewish people. In the Jewish law…Jesus grew up under this law of the knowledge of good and evil and he never broke one of the 10 commandments which is the minimum requirements of any Jew. Jesus being God's only Son remained obedient all the way unto death and became the Author of salvation to all those that obeyed Him…Jesus the Christ of Nazareth died on the cross was raised three days later so you could never choose evil again. So that you could do the right thing always…So all your wrong things or evil deeds may be forgiven…reconciled…redeemed…according to the goodwill of a God our Creator who is the Father of mercies…Jesus is the Truth…the Life…and the Way of Salvation…Have you asked the Author of Salvation to write you a plan of salvation, redemption and reconciliation with God our Creator? Jesus said it is more blessed to give than to receive...to forgive or not be forgiven…blessed are the merciful…treat others as you want to be treated…to give out to other what you would receive…doing no evil and remaining faithful and harmless as a dove…preparing for the marriage of eternity with Jesus…watching…praying for our enemies to repent and obey the God of gods Jesus the Christ of Nazareth…before it is everlasting to late and they be sentenced unto hell forever more…to be tormented with the hottest fires ever created to torment the soul with everlasting destruction…even so Lord Jesus come…Amen.
- Which is more important…to obey or to pray?
Listen to what Jesus said…if you love me keep my commandments…John 14:15. Jesus said the two greatest commandments is to love God with all your heart mind soul spirit and strength and the second commandment is to love your neighbor as yourself on these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets…Mark12:29-31. Jesus is our example to follow listen to what is written about him…though he were a son he had learned he obedience by the things which he suffered and being made perfect he became the author of eternal salvation to all those that obey him…Hebrews 5:8-9…not to all those that pray to him… If God has a commandment we can't pray to God and have him change it! Although prayer does change things for us it does not change the will of God. Listen to what was written about the first king of Israel who did not listen to what he was told by a prophet…behold to obey is better than sacrifice and to listen or hearken then the fat of Rams being sacrificed…1 Sam 15:22. The first king of Israel Saul was rejected because he was told to kill all including the king and kenites and not take any of the spoils instead he tried to play the role of a priest and offered the spoils as a sacrifice he was rejected and told it is better to obey the sacrifice. Jesus said if you come to come to worship… and know you've done your brother wrong that you not even offer a sacrifice but to leave there immediately and go reconcile with your brother then come and offer your gift…Mat 5:23-24. Jesus said when they told him his mother and brethren were looking for him, he said who are my mother and brother who is my sister but he that does the will of my father which is in heaven the same as my brother and sister and mother. Jesus said blood ties don't matter… his blood matters do you obey Jesus the author of salvation it is the only way to be saved…Mat 12:46-50 Jesus said…Matthew 10:32-39 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. 33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. 34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. 35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. 36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household. 37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. 38 And he that taketh not his cross, and follows after me, is not worthy of me. 39 He that finds his life shall lose it: and he that loses his life for my sake shall find it…I have been prepared to die for Jesus since the day I was baptized and nothing has changed since…it may be required if someone puts a gun to your head and asks are you a Christian? If put on trial for being a Christian would there be enough evidence to convict you? Yes or no? Will you pray with me father please grant us obedience unto salvation and to always do your will in Jesus in Nazareth name Amen.
