  • Is Jesus your ride or die?

Is Jesus your ride or die? And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's (good news), the same shall save it…Mark 8:34-35… …Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passes away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abides forever...1 John 2:15-17. …be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life...Revelation 2:10.   I don’t know about you but a free trip to heaven sounds really good but Jesus has to be your ride or die. When I was baptized into Jesus’ death burial and resurrection, I was willing to die right there and go to heaven, I even let out my air. I still wake up with the attitude of a ride or die for Jesus. I am prepared to say I believe in Jesus with at the face of death…if they pull the trigger then we will be seeing Jesus in Heaven or Jesus will protect us…Is Jesus your ride or die?   Are you willing to forsake all that is in this world…the lust of the flesh…the lust of the eyes…the pride in life and follow Jesus even in the face of death…yes or no?   Have you been baptized…yes or no? • You cannot have religion without God’s word…

You cannot have religion without God’s word…how will you relate to God without the Holy Bible? But what think ye? A man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to-day in the vineyard. And he answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented himself, and went. And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not. Which of the two did the will of his father? They say, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, that the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you. For John (the Baptist) came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not; but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye saw it, did not even repent yourselves afterward, that ye might believe him...Matthew 21:28-32 The religion authorities did not believe John the Baptist and many of the leaders were in need of change. Even today many religious leaders teach false ideas…for example many teach you do not have to be baptized…but Jesus said He that believes and is baptized will be saved…have you been baptized…yes or no? Are you faithfully obeying Jesus teaching to reflect your baptism into Jesus’ death burial and resurrection…yes or no? Will you be baptized for the remission of your sins and receive the Holy Spirit of promise…yes or no? And Peter said unto them, Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For to you is the promise, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call unto him...Acts 2:38-39 Prayer Father please help live worthy of the calling you put on our lives by being obedient to Your Only Son’s teachings…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen. • Money should be your servant not your boss…

Money should be your servant not your boss… Now at that time, one came to Him and said, "Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?" And He said to him, "Why do you call Me good? No one is good except one—God. But if you desire to enter into life, keep the commandments." (Jesus seeing if he meant to call Him God or just a phrase he used) (Here is the minimum requirements of a Jew to go to heaven…)  Then he said to Him, "Which?" And Jesus said, " 'You shall not commit murder'; 'You shall not commit adultery'; 'You shall not steal'; 'You shall not bear false witness'; 'Honor your father and your mother'; and, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' " The young man said to Him, "I have kept all these things from my youth. What do I yet lack?" Jesus said to him, "If you desire to be perfect, go and sell your property, and give to the poor, and you shall have treasure in heaven; and come and follow Me." But after hearing this word, the young man went away grieving, because he had many possessions. (would you do the same…Jesus invited him to become the 13 Apostle…but he loved his stuff more) Then Jesus said to His disciples, "Truly I say to you, it is extremely difficult for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of heaven. And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God." But after hearing this, the disciples were greatly astonished and said, "Who then is able to be saved?" But Jesus looked at them and said, "With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible”...Matthew 19:16-26   For those who desire to become rich fall into temptation and a snare, and many foolish and hurtful lusts, which cause men to sink into destruction and perdition. For the love of money is a root of all evils; by which some, while striving after riches, were seduced from the faith, and have impaled themselves with many sorrows...1 Timothy 6:9-10.   Do not store up treasures for yourselves on earth, where moth and rust spoil, and where thieves break through and steal; But store up treasures for yourselves in heaven, where neither moth nor rust spoils, and where thieves do not break through nor steal. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also...Matthew 6:19-21.   How many rich folks do not love their neighbor as their own selves…How many rich folks wake up and think how can I gain treasure in Heaven today instead of having their mind on their money and their money on their mind? Really we should ask how much do I keep instead of how much do I give…   Prayer Father please help us to not love money and meet our soul’s deepest needs so we may prosper in your kingdom and be in health…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.

  • How many times do you forgave someone who asks…

How many times do you forgave someone who asks… Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven...Matthew 18:21-22 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. And above all these things put on charity (love), which is the bond of perfectness...Colossians 3:12-14. Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God...Matthew 5:7-9.   How can a person live with no forgiveness in their life…this is a sin that will send you to hell…not forgiving others. I have to be forgiven by God and continuously cleansed…how then can I refuse someone who asks me to forgive them? I do not want Jesus to call me unmerciful on the day of Judgement, do you? How many people will not seek reconciliation and forgiveness…how many people on the Day of Judgement will be held in account for not asking others to forgive them…I imagine everyone which wears the name of Christian asks God…but how many quarrels in church will be quenched if we went to others and let them know we need their forgiveness too…?   Jesus told Peter to forgive 70 x 7… to a brother which asks for forgiveness this many times. You ever had a guy lie to you every day…and you forgive him every day. Imagine Jesus hearing everyone in prayer telling Him what they are going to do but never doing it. We expect Jesus to forgive us when we fall short of fulfilling our word…will you forgive others for not fulfilling their word…yes or no? Perhaps they have a short memory and cannot remember what they had said…perhaps circumstances changed and they can no longer supply the fruit of their words…Jesus said forgive them each time they asked. This is one thing I can say…I have never denied forgiveness to anyone who asked and I hope you can say the same. Perhaps we should say I got no limits for forgiveness but limit your presence in my life to some people who refuse to change.   I fear Jesus judgement so when I ask Jesus for forgiveness, I expect to be forgiven…so I have always forgiven those which asked me…will or do you do the same…yes or no? Jesus said blessed are the merciful for they shall receive mercy. In fact in difficult sins or trauma I started telling myself I forgave them because it puts the act in the past…buried and forgaven. I used to say forgive every time you remember the trauma until you remember it no more…but now I say forgave the trauma every time you remember the trauma or the act. Have you offered forgaveness to those you did you wrong…when you “forgave” you find healing.   If I have ever offended you then will you forgave me…and Jesus heal us both and make us whole…yes or no?   Prayer Father please have mercy for we deserve none…we have all sinned and come short of Your perfection of Glory…create in us a heart willing to forgive so we can be healed of those which hurt us…by forgiving the trauma done…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.   Try…A…Pause for Prayer and Devotional a Wellsaid Christian Devotional about the teachings of Jesus…   https://www.anopenbiblestudy.com/blog-by-ben-the-friend     #benjaminbrianstewart #Love #Christianity #Faith #Bible #Jesus #Prayer #Art #ChristianLife #Gospel #ChristianInspiration #Salvation #ChristianCommunity #love #instagood #photoftheday #beautiful #happy #new #sports #entertainment #technology #business #fashion #health #travel #food #music #art #photography

  • Jesus prescription for forgiveness…

Jesus prescription for forgiveness… Moreover if thy brother shall trespass (sin) against thee, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone: if he shall hear you, you hast gained your brother. But if he will not hear you, then take with you one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto you as a heathen man and a publican… …Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever you shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever you shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask (concerning the reconciliation achieved) it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of (Jesus Judgement for forgiveness will be the result) them...Matthew 18:15-20.   Here we have Jesus’ way we must find forgiveness… The first step is to tell the brother you done me wrong…if he asks how he can make it right or if he asks for forgiveness then reconciliation has been achieved. How many people go around offended and never let someone know they have been trespassed against or think they know they did me wrong and never tell the person what they have done.   The Second step… Go find two or three witnesses that truth may be established…I would get someone they respect like their mom or dad or child…then repeat the matter. If he says sorry or forgive me or his the 5 dollars I stole…how can I make it right…then forgiveness has been achieved and the process ends. How many people do not consider what it will take for a hard heart to offer repentance so that reconciliation can be achieved.   The third step… is to establish the matter in front of the church…so other Christians can avoid a person who will not do right. Jesus is there in midst trying to reconcile the matter and you are using the best method known. When reconciliation has been achieved then Jesus will move Heaven and earth to accomplish it.   For example say George stole 100 dollars but cannot repay…I need the 100 dollars to pay rent…He says I cannot give you the money back on the first attempt. When I carry two or three people with me and they find out he admitted to stealing but cannot repay…one of them or all of them will help come up with the 100 dollars for my rent…or say it goes beyond step two and in front of the church the matter is repeated…perhaps the church will give the 100 dollars needed which was stolen to pay my rent…Jesus will see it through until forgiveness and reconciliation is achieved or until the hard hearted person will be marked as a person that will not repent and obey the teachings of Jesus…and the church then will meet the needy Christian’s need. What ever the outcome Jesus will move heaven and earth to reconcile two Christians…where one has sinned against the other.   Prayer Father help us apply the prescription remedy and cure for forgiveness and reconciliation…and help us be faithful and not sin against other Christians…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.   Try…A…Pause for Prayer and Devotional a Wellsaid Christian Devotional about the teachings of Jesus…   https://www.anopenbiblestudy.com/blog-by-ben-the-friend     #benjaminbrianstewart #Love #Christianity #Faith #Bible #Jesus #Prayer #Art #ChristianLife #Gospel #ChristianInspiration #Salvation #ChristianCommunity #love #instagood #photoftheday #beautiful #happy #new #sports #entertainment #technology #business #fashion #health #travel #food #music #art #photography

  • Are you a child of God…

Are you a child of God… At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? And Jesus called a little child unto Him, and set him in the midst of them, And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. …Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receives Me. But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in Me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea...Matthew 18:1-6.   When asked who is the greatest in the Kingdom of God…Jesus side stepped the answer and said unless you are converted and become as little children you will not even enter in. The Greatest is of course the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit…you and I can never be greater than God. Therefore we must become His Children asking daddy can I…daddy will you…daddy forgive me…daddy I hurt…etc.   We must learn to depend on God for everything just like a child does their parents. In the model prayer by Jesus…we are taught to say Your will done to the Father…why is He called the Father if He does not want us to consider being His child. We have to become fully converted like a child dependent on His Father…then we can grow into God’s plan for our lives. We truly cannot do things of our own but learn how God will do it with us. We need to develop a walk with God and learn how not to offend others. If we cause a Christian to fall then it is better to die than to place a Christian in circumstance of losing his faith. Jesus said it is better to die than to cause a Christian to fall.   Jesus also said whoever receives one of these children in His name will receive Him…Jesus said if receive a child in Jesus name then you will have Jesus. Will you agree to teach your children Jesus and receive them in His name…yes or no? How many children today are not being taught Jesus by their own parents? How many think a trip to church is all which is needed? I agree church is important but do you teach Jesus outside of church? I heard this is the first time in America’s history where about half of the population are non-religious…we have not been teaching our children Jesus. They have not taught their children…we need a major awakening and a turning to God…a revival here in America…a come to Jesus movement.   Have you been baptized…yes or no? Do you believe Jesus died and was raised from the dead…yes or no? Will you be baptized...yes or no? Jesus said He that believes and is baptized will be saved…Mark 16:16   Prayer Father please meet our soul’s deepest needs for forgiveness and reconciliation…and help us be fully converted or adopted by You…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen. • The Father speaks...to Peter...James and John...

Jesus Transfiguration before Peter…James…and John… And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into a high mountain apart, And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him… …Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias. While he yet spoke, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said,… …This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him… …And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid. And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid. And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only...Matthew 17:1-8.   Here we see Jesus transformed in the Spirit…He was in the presence of Moses and Elijah and they were in the Spirit. Then a bright cloud overshadowed them…was bright and cast a shadow over them…The Father said this is my beloved Son Hear Him… ….Moses was a person they listened to…as in he gave the Ten Commandments and the Law. He represented the Law they lived by and The Father told them Hear my Son. Elijah was considered the greatest of the prophets and the Father told them to listen…obey…my Son Jesus not Elijah. These three were chosen to hear the Father’s Voice tell them listen to My Son Jesus over Moses (Law) and Elijah (Prophets). This happening shortly after Peter confessed that Jesus was the Christ the Son of God. These three knew they had to obey Jesus over Moses and Elijah. They were afraid (They feared) at the Sound of The Father’s Voice and then they heard Jesus and looked upon Him and were not afraid. Jesus was the Mediator if you will of their fear of the Father’s Voice…He gave them a command to not to be afraid and touched them. He was telling them there is no fear if you listen (obey) what I have said. I can see the Judgement scene here…we all fear The Father’s punishment…punishment in hell, but for those of us who have been baptized into Jesus death burial and resurrection through water baptism…we will have no fear in Judgement because Jesus will be our righteousness. Because we have been clothed in Jesus or as we say baptized into Christ. So that the Father sees Jesus work of redemption in our lives instead of our deeds which deserve Judgement and Punishment. Thank you Jesus.   Prayer Father please keep us who have been baptized into Christ and help us remain faithful to You and Your only Son…also please meet out soul’s deepest needs and heal our soul wounds…In Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.   Try…A…Pause for Prayer and Devotional a Wellsaid Christian Devotional about the teachings of Jesus…   https://www.anopenbiblestudy.com/blog-by-ben-the-friend     #benjaminbrianstewart #Love #Christianity #Faith #Bible #Jesus #Prayer #Art #ChristianLife #Gospel #ChristianInspiration #Salvation #ChristianCommunity #love #instagood #photoftheday #beautiful #happy #new #sports #entertainment #technology #business #fashion #health #travel #food #music #art #photography

  • Has your decision already been made?

Has your decision already been made? Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works. Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom...Matthew 16:24-28   If any man shall seek Jesus…let him deny himself…Jesus’ will has to be first…take up his own cross…the burden of becoming a Christian…and follow Jesus. Jesus is saying do not love this world…for He said whosoever shall save his life will lose it and whosoever shall lose his life for my sake shall find it. Have you ever denied being a Christian…even at the face of death…yes or no? I woke up prepared to die for Jesus and the gospel…we must never deny being a Christian even with a gun pointed at our heads. Our decision has already been made when we were baptized into Christ’s death burial and resurrection.   What is a man profited if he gains the whole world and loses his soul. If you avoid death then by denying Jesus…you would live physically but you would lose your relationship with Jesus…how would you ever overcome the fear of death again? If one denies Jesus then they love this physical world more than Jesus Kingdom…How would such a person fare on Judgement Day?   Many of the Apostles and many others never denied Jesus…after His resurrection and were killed for their faith in Jesus and for preaching the good news…Jesus died so you could never choose evil again and be forgiven of all the evil you have done. Some of us may have to face circumstances of death and some will never. Your decision has to be made you would rather die before you are in this circumstance and live with Jesus than deny Him and His teachings and live in this world longer.   You got to not love your life here on earth and love the promise of eternal life with Jesus in Heaven more. Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life...Revelation 2:10.   Prayer Father help us to love Jesus more than our own lives and this world so we can put His teachings first and live eternally with You and Your only Son…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.   Try…A…Pause for Prayer and Devotional a Wellsaid Christian Devotional about the teachings of Jesus…   https://www.anopenbiblestudy.com/blog-by-ben-the-friend     #benjaminbrianstewart #Love #Christianity #Faith #Bible #Jesus #Prayer #Art #ChristianLife #Gospel #ChristianInspiration #Salvation #ChristianCommunity #love #instagood #photoftheday #beautiful #happy #new #sports #entertainment #technology #business #fashion #health #travel #food #music #art #photography

  • Peter’s Keys…opened the church and have already been used.

Peter’s Keys…opened the church and have already been used. He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona (Son of Jona): for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven...Matthew 16:15-19.   Peter was the first to open the doors of the church to the Jews and Gentiles by inspired preaching… Peter received a promise from Jesus for being the first disciple to confess that Jesus is the Christ the Son of God. The promise is the Keys to the Church. When did Peter open up the doors of the Church…on the day of Pentecost to the Jews in Acts 2…in Jerusalem. Peter also was the one who open the doors of the Church to Cornelius in Acts 10. In fact Cornelius was told to send for Peter and Peter would tell him what to do. So we have Peter using the keys to open the church by speaking a message of salvation to both the unbelieving Gentiles who had become believers and to the unbelieving Jews in Jerusalem who became convinced through the inspired message from Peter’s preaching.   The doors to the church are open and anyone can change and become a disciple of Jesus Christ…they can be adopted by Jesus and become one of God’s children. Do you want to have Jesus as your shepherd as your dad looking over and managing your affairs…I do. DO you believe Jesus died on the cross and was raised from the dead and have you been baptized like Peter commanded…yes or no?   For It is written… Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ. Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call...Acts 2:36-39.   If obey the same message then you will receive the same promise because the promise is to any who the Lord our God shall call…have you answered the call by doing the same thing…by repenting (surrendering all to Jesus in obedience to the truth from Him) and being baptized…yes or no. Will you be baptized for the remission of your sins…yes or no?   Prayer Father thank you for calling me and others please meet our soul’s deepest needs as Jesus is our  Shepherd and guide us to heaven our home…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.   Try…A…Pause for Prayer and Devotional a Wellsaid Christian Devotional about the teachings of Jesus…   https://www.anopenbiblestudy.com/blog-by-ben-the-friend     #benjaminbrianstewart #Love #Christianity #Faith #Bible #Jesus #Prayer #Art #ChristianLife #Gospel #ChristianInspiration #Salvation #ChristianCommunity #love #instagood #photoftheday #beautiful #happy #new #sports #entertainment #technology #business #fashion #health #travel #food #music #art #photography

  • Do you confess Jesus came in the flesh…died on a cross and was raised from the dead…yes or no?

Do you confess Jesus came in the flesh…died on a cross and was raised from the dead…yes or no? Peter confessed the truth for it is written…He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God...Matthew 16:15-16. Do you believe Jesus was died on the cross and was raised from the dead…yes or no? If you do not believe Jesus came in the flesh (that He was here and died and was raised from the dead) then this makes you of the spirit of the anti-Christ. If you say He was a prophet then are you also saying He died and was raised from the dead too…yes or no?   For it is written…For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist...2 John 1:7. Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confess that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof you have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. You are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world. Do you want to be punished with everlasting fire…yes or no? I do not want to be forever burned and never consumed in eternal destruction. I fear God and His punishment…therefore I try to keep the commandments of God…which are not heavy burdens but is simply Loving God. It is written…And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: And you shalt love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, You shalt love your neighbor as yourself. There is none other commandment greater than these...Mark 12:29-31. • Jesus is the light of men…the light you need in a dark world…

Jesus is the light of men…the light you need in a dark world… No man, when he hath lighted a candle, puts it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light. The light of the body is the eye: therefore when your eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when your eye is evil, your body also is full of darkness. Take heed therefore that the light which is in you be not darkness. Jesus is the Creator’s only Fathered Son and nothing that was made was made without Him. Jesus is the good the light in men. We must discern the difference between light and darkness. Jesus said if your eye be evil or darkness then you will be full of darkness or walking in darkness. I do not want to walk in darkness. Do you? Jesus is the Truth the Life and the Light…when we have Jesus in our life, we are able to reprove the works of darkness. For those who have been baptized into Christ Jesus is the light in us and we can then cast out darkness by the light in us. When someone at work say it is ok to be homosexual we can say no it is not. That is what reprove means we share the truth from Jesus and make them reprove their teaching or beliefs. We should never get our advice from a non-Christian. Do you go to the Hindu’s Muslims, or any other source for advice…if so then stop and then let Jesus be your only source of truth for He is the whole truth. We have a promise the truth will never leave us so let us hold fast the truth. For the truth's sake, which dwelleth in us, and shall be with us for ever...2 John 1:2. We will always have the truth if you put the truth first in your life. Prayer Father please meet our soul’s deepest needs for the Truth and so we can have eternal life with you and know the way which leads to heaven…we renounce darkness in all forms and accept Jesus as our source…In Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen. • Is it a sin to drink wine…yes or no?

Is it a sin to drink wine…yes or no? And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand: Not that which goes into the mouth defiles a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defiles a man. …Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying? But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up… …Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch. Then answered Peter and said unto him, Declare unto us this parable. And Jesus said, Are ye also yet without understanding? …Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever enters in at the mouth goes into the belly, and is cast out into the draught? But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies: These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashed hands defiles not a man...Matthew 15:10-20.   Jesus said…not that which goes into the mouth defiles a person but that which comes out. We can eat or drink anything and it be ok with God. If you drink wine then do not drink to excess. We can eat or drink anything and not be defiled. We are told to receive everything with thanksgiving be thankful and enjoy but we are also told not to be filled with drunkenness. So have a cup but do not drink the bottle. Jesus drank wine we can too. Many choose not to because they have no self-control and drink until drunk. Their way of moderation is to never drink…but suppose you are in a country where wine, not grape juice is on the menu for the Lord’s Supper…it is not a sin. Jesus said it is the actions or fruit of your heart which makes you sin or defiles you. When you drink with the purpose of getting drunk this heart attitude will make you drunk and sin. So do not drink to excess if you drink at all.   Jesus said…But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies: These are the things which defile a man…A man can be in excess (drunk) on lust, sex, porn, money, power, lies, etc… Let us use these things in the service of God and not to be like the world. We are told to be filled with the Holy Spirit…And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit...Ephesians 5:18   Prayer Father please meet our soul’s deepest needs and heal our drunkenness of this world help us be drunk on the Holy Spirit as it is written…for we know we can be in excess of anything…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.   Try…A…Pause for Prayer and Devotional a Wellsaid Christian Devotional about the teachings of Jesus…   https://www.anopenbiblestudy.com/blog-by-ben-the-friend     #benjaminbrianstewart #Love #Christianity #Faith #Bible #Jesus #Prayer #Art #ChristianLife #Gospel #ChristianInspiration #Salvation #ChristianCommunity #love #instagood #photoftheday #beautiful #happy #new #sports #entertainment #technology #business #fashion #health #travel #food #music #art #photography
