  • Never get so busy making a living that you forget to make a life fit for Heaven…

…Does the bible tell you how different age groups are supposed to behave…It is written… Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate. ...Titus 1:15-16 1.      But speak thou the things which befit the sound doctrine: that aged men be temperate (self-control), grave (sincere), sober-minded, sound in faith, in love, in patience: 2.      That aged women likewise be reverent (respectful) in demeanor, not slanderers nor enslaved to much wine, teachers of that which is good; that they may train the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be sober-minded, chaste (pure), workers at home, kind, being in subjection to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed 3.      The younger men likewise exhort to be sober-minded: in all things showing yourself an ensample of good works; in your doctrine showing uncorruptness, gravity (being grounded), sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of us. 4.      Exhort (encourage) servants to be in subjection to their own masters (bosses), and to be well-pleasing to them in all things; not gainsaying (talking back); not purloining (not taking away from), but showing all good fidelity (faith); that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in all things. ...Titus 2:1-10 For the grace of God hath appeared, bringing salvation to all men, instructing us, to the intent that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly and righteously and godly in this present world; looking for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ; who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a people for his own possession, zealous of good works. ...Titus 2:11-14   In the book of Titus there are four group of people Titus is told what to tell them to do to behave correctly so they may be zealous of good works fit for Heaven. The aged man…the aged woman…the younger men…and all servants or slaves. You fit in one of these categories when you read this how do you measure up to the prescription for Titus preaching? Perhaps start on one of the traits you need to work on today and begin creating a new habit…do you have any spiritual growth goals set or just hope you make it. Why not get in tentful and do more than intend on growing…make a planned effort. I heard it takes longer to lose a habit than begin on…just know without trying the pathway to hell is paved with good intentions.   Prayer Father please help us by meeting our soul’s deepest needs so we can continue to become more like Jesus and have a character fit for heaven our home…we renounce satan and his kingdom please show us mercy and help us grow…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.     Try…A…Pause for Prayer and Devotional a Wellsaid Christian Devotional about the teachings of Jesus…   https://www.anopenbiblestudy.com/blog-by-ben-the-friend     #benjaminbrianstewart #Love #Christianity #Faith #Bible #Jesus #Prayer #Art #ChristianLife #Gospel #ChristianInspiration #Salvation #ChristianCommunity #love #instagood #photoftheday #beautiful #happy #new #sports #entertainment #technology #business #fashion #health #travel #food #music #art #photography

  • Do you read or study your Holy Bible…yes or no?

We are told to study and make ourselves approved… Study (give diligence) to shew yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing (applying) the word of truth...2 Timothy 2:15. But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes. And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt (able) to teach, patient, In meekness (obedience) instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure (perhaps) will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will...2 Timothy 2:23-26. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works...2 Timothy 3:16-17. How many people can tell someone the good news they obeyed to be saved? Most people will call a teacher or a preacher. Can you tell someone what you did to be saved so they to can be translated out of Satan’s kingdom and into the Christ? We must study in order to grow closer in relationship with God and this also includes doctrine…re-proving people in error of beliefs…correcting others behavior…so they can be informed in the right way. How do you restore someone who was faithful to Christ…you get to the Word of God back in their minds and hearts for it alone produces faith. You cannot make a rebel change…but you can remind them of the promises and teachings of Jesus…for it is written…So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God...Romans 10:17. • Why do we go to church on Sunday…do you know…yes or no?

Do you worship God regularly…yes or no…   When did the first Christians meet and worship God…what was their pattern? It is written… Now concerning the collection for the saints (they were taking up money for the poor saints in Jerusalem at the time) as I gave order to the churches of Galatia, so also do ye. Upon the first day of the week  let each one of you lay by him in store, as he may prosper, that no collections be made when I come...1 Corinthians 16:1-2.   The congregations in the region of Galatia and the church at Corinth were told to meet on the first day of the week…which is Sunday according to the Roman Calendar. There is a first day of the week every week…this is why churches meet on Sunday the first day of the week not Saturday the seventh day of the week. There is one more example or pattern of Christians meeting and having a worship service or what we commonly call church…   It is written… And upon the first day of the week , when we were gathered together to break bread, Paul discoursed with them, intending to depart on the morrow; and prolonged his speech until midnight...Acts 20:7.   This time they had gathered together to break bread or remember the Lord’s Supper on the first day of the week…Sunday and Paul was doing the preaching and teaching.   So I go to church or worship on Sunday because the first Christians were in a pattern of meeting on Sunday…the first day of the week and it was an order from an inspired Apostle to meet on the first day of the week. So the next time someone asks you why do you worship on Sunday…say because the first Christians were told to do so in multiple congregations so I do too.   Prayer Father we know we may worship You anytime we are reconciled and in the right Spirit and practicing the Truth…please bless our worship of You as we follow the pattern you set forth to the first Christians…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.   Try…A…Pause for Prayer and Devotional a Wellsaid Christian Devotional about the teachings of Jesus…   https://www.anopenbiblestudy.com/blog-by-ben-the-friend     #benjaminbrianstewart #Love #Christianity #Faith #Bible #Jesus #Prayer #Art #ChristianLife #Gospel #ChristianInspiration #Salvation #ChristianCommunity #love #instagood #photoftheday #beautiful #happy #new #sports #entertainment #technology #business #fashion #health #travel #food #music #art #photography

  • Does God tempt you to sin…yes or no?

It is written… Blessed is the man that endures temptation; for when he hath been approved, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord promised to them that love him. Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God; for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no man: but each man is tempted, when he is drawn away by his own lust, and enticed. Then the lust, when it hath conceived, bears sin: and the sin, when it is full-grown, bringeth forth death. Be not deceived, my beloved brethren...James 1:12-16.   No. God does not want to lose one of His children. God does no evil and to test someone with evil is a bad thing to do. It is not God tempting you to watch porn…or to lie…or to steal…or whatever…in fact Jesus is interceding that you will not fall away from the faith. We wrestle against our own desires we do not need any help.  Are you one that draws people away from God…or are you like Jesus trying to get people to be like God by behaving properly?   What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not also with him freely give us all things? Who shall lay anything to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifies; who is he that condemns? It is Christ Jesus that died, yea rather, that was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us...Romans 8:31-34.   God is for us not to sin…God is for us to love not hate…to be better not bitter…to do our best not our worse…to forgive and not get even. He is interceding we not sin a sin even though circumstances through life and our flesh may cause us to sin we have a promise Jesus will not allow our circumstances to be greater than our flesh.   There hath no temptation taken you but such as (any) man can bear: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation make also the way of escape, that ye may be able to endure it. Wherefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry...1 Corinthians 10:13-14.   When we are tempted by the evil one then Jesus has made us a way out. Do you look for His way out?   Prayer Father thank you for not tempting us to be drawn away from You and thank you for Jesus’s promise He will make a way out…please meet our soul’s deepest needs and heal us from our own stupid mistakes…and help us find Your way out…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.   Try…A…Pause for Prayer and Devotional a Wellsaid Christian Devotional about the teachings of Jesus…   https://www.anopenbiblestudy.com/blog-by-ben-the-friend     #benjaminbrianstewart #Love #Christianity #Faith #Bible #Jesus #Prayer #Art #ChristianLife #Gospel #ChristianInspiration #Salvation #ChristianCommunity #love #instagood #photoftheday #beautiful #happy #new #sports #entertainment #technology #business #fashion #health #travel #food #music #art #photography

  • So you done someone dirty? Then go and make it clean…

So you done someone dirty? Then go and make it clean… Are you reconciled with fellow man and God…yes or no? We are told to reconcile with a brother or sister whom we know we have done wrong or they could accuse of wrong…listen to what Jesus said… If therefore you are offering your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother hath aught (reason to accuse you of wrong doing) against you, leave there your gift before the altar, and go your way, first be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift...Matthew 5:23-24.   So you done someone dirty? Then go and make it clean. You stole then restore or offer a sincere apology perhaps they will forgive. Do not even go to church because your offering will not be received until you do in the eyes of God. Word to the wise…be prayful…prepare for the opportunity even if you have to make one…God will provide a way to reconcile. Remember you are in the wrong and they are the better person for forgiving and reconciling. Perhaps if they are a Christian read them this verse and say what can I do to make it right with you? The explain the circumstance to them how you want to be right with them and God.   Then after you have righted your wrongs go to church and offer your sacrifice of praise or thanksgiving and anything else you desire because you did the will of the Father. Seek forgiveness…seek restoration…be humble and kind while doing this deed of reconciliation.   And one said unto him, Behold, Your mother and Your brethren stand without, seeking to speak to thee. But He (Jesus) answered and said unto him that told Him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren? And he stretched forth his hand towards His disciples, and said, Behold, my mother and my brethren! For whosoever shall do the will of my Father who is in heaven, He is my brother, and sister, and mother...Matthew 12:47-50.   Prayer Father please help us to reconcile our wrong deeds of our past and forgive others trespasses so our worship and sacrifices will be accepted by You and Your Only Son…please meet our deepest needs for reconciliation with You our God and our fellow man…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.   Try…A…Pause for Prayer and Devotional a Wellsaid Christian Devotional about the teachings of Jesus…   https://www.anopenbiblestudy.com/blog-by-ben-the-friend     #benjaminbrianstewart #Love #Christianity #Faith #Bible #Jesus #Prayer #Art #ChristianLife #Gospel #ChristianInspiration #Salvation #ChristianCommunity #love #instagood #photoftheday #beautiful #happy #new #sports #entertainment #technology #business #fashion #health #travel #food #music #art #photography

  • Do you want to the peace of God to guard your heart...then listen...pray do not worry...

Worry is the "dark room" in which "negatives" are developed.   We have a promise the peace of God will guard our hearts if we pray about it… In nothing be anxious; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus...Philippians 4:6-7   We have a promise if we ask something in His will God will grant us our requests… And this is the boldness which we have toward Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hear us: and if we know that He hear us whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of Him...1 John 5:14-15.   So pray about everything…and let the peace of God guard your heart…ask what Jesus will do and you will have a yes in prayer. A Christian who worries is like a child who will not ask his dad what should he do about the situation. We can have confidence if we ask according to what Jesus wants then we will have the answered prayer requests. So do not worry but pray about it…Jesus in the parable of the ten virgins taught His disciples to watch and pray…so watch and pray and you will have the peace of God guard your hearts and when you pray Jesus’ desires then you will have the answer to the prayer request.   No one knows when Jesus is coming in Judgement but we are told to watch and pray until He comes… Watch therefore, for ye know not the day nor the hour...Matthew 25:13… …and to you that are afflicted rest with us, at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with the angels of his power in flaming fire, rendering vengeance to them that know not God, and to them that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus: who shall suffer punishment, even eternal destruction from the face of the Lord and from the glory of his might...2 Thessalonians 1:7-9.   Prayer Father help us pray the desires of Jesus Your Only Son and to seek Him first, please meet our soul’s deepest needs and heal our soul’s deepest wounds…so we may heal and learn to pray and do Your will…until You send Jesus in Judgement…In Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.   Try…A…Pause for Prayer and Devotional a Wellsaid Christian Devotional about the teachings of Jesus…   https://www.anopenbiblestudy.com/blog-by-ben-the-friend     #benjaminbrianstewart #Love #Christianity #Faith #Bible #Jesus #Prayer #Art #ChristianLife #Gospel #ChristianInspiration #Salvation #ChristianCommunity #love #instagood #photoftheday #beautiful #happy #new #sports #entertainment #technology #business #fashion #health #travel #food #music #art #photography

  • Wisdom has two parts…1 Having a lot to say….2 Not saying it.

Wisdom has two parts…1 Having a lot to say….2 Not saying it.   If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraids not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavers is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways...James 1:5-8 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction...Proverbs 1:7… For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad...2 Corinthians 5:10.   Do you use discretion when you speak…yes or no? Our words should be encouraging a life well lived. We should turn away from evil deeds and words and use ourselves as instruments of doing what is right. Is it hard to keep your mouth shut or to speak right…we can always walk away from a situation and not participate. We can all try to better the situation and not make it worse if we participate at all then let us as it is written… Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers...Ephesians 4:29.   I myself need to work on my words…I sometimes slip and cuss. I spent a long time cussing before I became a Christian and some times I still slip and do. I hope I can be encouraging and say the things needed to better a person or situation. I know we will be judged even by the idle words we say and many times wish I did not cuss when I have done so. So I am going to try to have cleaner speech…because it just does not sound right…I am a Christian but sometimes a cuss a little.   Prayer Father please forgive me of my cussing and help me to stop using idle words…please meet my soul’s deepest needs and heal my wounds…and heal those offended by any cuss words or my behavior in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.   Try…A…Pause for Prayer and Devotional a Wellsaid Christian Devotional about the teachings of Jesus…   https://www.anopenbiblestudy.com/blog-by-ben-the-friend     #benjaminbrianstewart #Love #Christianity #Faith #Bible #Jesus #Prayer #Art #ChristianLife #Gospel #ChristianInspiration #Salvation #ChristianCommunity #love #instagood #photoftheday #beautiful #happy #new #sports #entertainment #technology #business #fashion #health #travel #food #music #art #photography

  • Do you want to go to heaven or hell…

Do you want to go to heaven or hell…   Heaven is a place and you will never get there unless you decide to go. You have to make yourself ready to go to heaven…you have to be prepared. If you continue to live your life however you see fit then you will certainly go to hell. There is good news a man name Jesus the Christ died on the cross and was raised from the dead so you could be forgiven and get prepared to enter into Heaven. Jesus is the only Son of our Creator…there is no other man that has been the Only Son of our Creator…He died on a cross and was raised from the dead so you could never choose evil again and empowers us to overcome the evil we face.   The path to Heaven is filled with good deeds and the pathway to hell is filled with good intentions. Do you do what Jesus said…or do you intend to one day? Do you want to be adopted into the Kingdom of God…yes or no?   Listen to what Jesus told a man named Nicodemus… Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind blows where it lists, and thou hear the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it comes, and whither it goes: so is every one that is born of the Spirit...John 3:3-8   Have you been born of the water and the Spirit…yes or no? If no then you are not prepared and need to listen to the message Peter spoke through inspiration of the Holy Spirit of how to become born of the water and the Spirit…   Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation...Acts 2:38-40.   Have you been born of the water and the Spirit like Peter told those in Jerusalem…yes or no? Will you be baptized…yes or no? Jesus said, “He that believes and is baptized will be saved” Mark 16:16. Do you still confess Jesus and that you have been baptized…yes or no?   Prayer Father help us to have done the things we need to do in order to be in the Kingdom of God so we may be not rejected but accepted in Christ…please meet our soul’s deepest needs and heal our wounds and sin in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.   Try…A…Pause for Prayer and Devotional a Wellsaid Christian Devotional about the teachings of Jesus…   https://www.anopenbiblestudy.com/blog-by-ben-the-friend     #benjaminbrianstewart #Love #Christianity #Faith #Bible #Jesus #Prayer #Art #ChristianLife #Gospel #ChristianInspiration #Salvation #ChristianCommunity #love #instagood #photoftheday #beautiful #happy #new #sports #entertainment #technology #business #fashion #health #travel #food #music #art #photography

  • Thankful for freedom from the Patriot and Jesus shedding their own blood...

Dear fellow American Citizens   I want to take a few moments of your time to remember why America is great at these times of thanksgiving:   America is great because of the written rule of law established by our founding fathers 1.       Risked their own lives, liberty, in freeing us and themselves in their pursuit of happiness 2.       Signed the declaration of independence that declares we are all equal under our Creator 3.       Shed blood…their own and the lives of the tyrants they overthrew for liberty America is great because of the fallen soldier who died so we can sleep at peace at night 1.       How many of us live in the memory of a fallen soldier or family member 2.       How many us know a brave volunteer willing to die to free ithers from evil 3.       The American Soldier shed his blood so we can sleep at peace at night America is great because of the Freedoms guaranteed by the constitution and amendments 1.       America is great because great men and women have left us a written rule of law 2.       The first amendment: a.       Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. 3.       The Second Amendment: a.       A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.   I am grateful for the lives that have sacrificed so much so we can sleep in peace at night. • As Christians are we told to be thankful...yes or no...

Now thanks be unto God, which always causes us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour (saving influence) of his knowledge by us in every place…I exhort (encourage)  therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men… And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him...In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you....2 Corinthians 2:14...1 Timothy 2:1...Colossians 3:17...1 Thessalonians 5:18   What does a man have he did not receive…did you choose your birth? Did you choose your parents? We did not determine when we were born…either our parents modest poor or rich…we did not choose our raising…but we did choose Jesus when we were baptized, Who is the greatest dad a person can have. Do you want to be adopted into the family of God and have Jesus as the Good Shepherd overseeing your soul…yes or no? Then you must believe Jesus died and was raised from the dead and then be baptized for the remission of your sins and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Jesus said after His resurrection… He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned...Mark 16:16.   Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep...John 10:7-11. • Is Jesus your ride or die?

Is Jesus your ride or die? And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's (good news), the same shall save it…Mark 8:34-35… …Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passes away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abides forever...1 John 2:15-17. …be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life...Revelation 2:10.   I don’t know about you but a free trip to heaven sounds really good but Jesus has to be your ride or die. • You cannot have religion without God’s word…

You cannot have religion without God’s word…how will you relate to God without the Holy Bible? But what think ye? A man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to-day in the vineyard. And he answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented himself, and went. And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not. Which of the two did the will of his father? They say, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, that the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you. For John (the Baptist) came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not; but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye saw it, did not even repent yourselves afterward, that ye might believe him...Matthew 21:28-32 The religion authorities did not believe John the Baptist and many of the leaders were in need of change. Even today many religious leaders teach false ideas…for example many teach you do not have to be baptized…but Jesus said He that believes and is baptized will be saved…have you been baptized…yes or no? Are you faithfully obeying Jesus teaching to reflect your baptism into Jesus’ death burial and resurrection…yes or no? Will you be baptized for the remission of your sins and receive the Holy Spirit of promise…yes or no?
