What to do when you believed a lie...

Jesus said be wise as serpents and harmless as doves…we lie in wait to strike the lies with the truth of Jesus…Jesus is the truth and Satan is the father of lies… Jesus said Satan was a murderer from the beginning…he's always trying to murder your salvation…he does so with lies and deceit... He added one word to what God had said and lied to Eve the word not… Satan has partial truth a subtle lie there's no such thing as a white lie… a lie is a lie…no lie is of the truth…So what do you do when you've repeated a lie or believed in a lie?

Romans 3:4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou might be justified in thy sayings, and might overcome when thou art judged.

Ephesians 4:14-15 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; 15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

1 John 1:8-10 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

Luke 17:3-4 Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him. 4 And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.

Colossians 3:9-10 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; 10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

Father we forgive those who lied to us and pray you would free us from the damage of the lies we believed…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.

When Jesus was asked what is the first commandment…hear what Jesus said…

Jesus answered him first of all the commandments as hear O Israel the Lord our God is One Lord and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart with all your soul with all your mind with all your strength this is the first commandment and the second commandment is like…namely this…you shall love your neighbor as yourself there is no other commandment greater than these… do you put God first in everything you do and you second?

Jesus told his apostles in John 13... As it is written… a new commandment I give you that you love one another as I have loved you…that you also love one another…by this all men shall know that you are my disciples if you have love one for another... Jesus died on the cross and was raised from the dead so we'd never have to choose the wrong thing…He was died so we could be forgiven and never do an evil or wrong thing again… how many of us have a neighbor or family member that will not obey Jesus or we pray for them and have never asked them to become a Christian?

Listen to a promise to Christians that are faithful… and this is the confidence that we have in him that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us and if we know that he hears us whatsoever we ask we know we have the petitions we desire of Him… a Christian can have confidence that his prayers are heard and answer but we have to do it in love…we have to ask according to God's will and we have to ask in love of our neighbor…

Father will you teach us how to obey your commandments so we can show you love and help us to remember your word so we can obey in Jesus of Nazareth name Amen.

Listen to what Jesus said he said take heed…take caution…listen to this…do this…he said take heed if your brother sins or trespasses against you rebuke him…in other words if your brother done you wrong go tell him he did you wrong and if he repent…if he say I'm sorry I want to make it right…forgive him... If he trespass against you 7 times in a day and seven times in a day turn again to you saying I repent or I'm sorry I want to make it right you shall forgive him…

Here are some instructions given to the Colosse Christians… put on therefore as the elect of God holy and beloved bowels of mercy kindness…humbleness of mind…obedience or meekness…long-suffering…endurance…forbearing one another and forgiving one another. If any man have a quarrel against any even as Christ forgave you so also do you and above all these things put on love or charity which is the bond of perfectness or completeness… Christians are supposed to be the most forgiving people on the planet. Are you forgiving? Are you a Christian…

listen to what God said through his prophet to the first king…to obey is better than sacrifice and to listen better than the fat of ram. Jesus even said if you've done wrong to your brother and you're offering a sacrifice leave your gift and go make it right and then offer your sacrifice… have you made things right with those you've done wrong…

Jesus said blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy…in other words if you forgive others you'll be forgiven…

Father we ask you and help us to reconcile with others and show us mercy in Jesus of Nazareth name Amen.
