We are just little children in diapers before God…
Jesus of Nazareth said: Mat 18:3-4 and said, Verily I say unto you, except ye turn, and become as little children, ye shall in no wise enter into the kingdom of heaven. (4) Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
Let us examine a baby needs verses our soul’s deepest need:
A Baby cannot clean himself but is in dirty diapers until someone cleans him.
Rom 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Act 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, that so there may come seasons of refreshing from the presence of the Lord.
A Baby does not know good and evil, has no knowledge of good or evil but has to be instructed on how to behave correctly, morally.
Adam and Eve ate directly from the tree of good and evil, and instantly knew all good and all evil. (Gen 3:5-6)
When they had kids, the kids did not eat and therefore had no knowledge of good or evil, but their knowledge of good and evil came from the instructions of Adam and Eve.
Same is true today, kids are born innocent not knowing good or evil. It is our job to teach then how to become like God and be moral.
A Baby has to be instructed, nurtured, and taught how to grow into adulthood.
2Ti 2:15 Give diligence to present thyself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, handling aright the word of truth.
2Ti 3:16-17 Every scripture inspired of God is also profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction which is in righteousness: (17) that the man of God may be complete, furnished completely unto every good work.
1Pe 2:1-3 Putting away therefore all wickedness, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speaking, (2) as newborn babes, long for the spiritual milk, which is without guile, that ye may grow thereby unto salvation; (3) if ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious:
A Baby cannot protect himself from the dangers in the world.
Just like a baby without its parents, so are we if we wander from the will of God.
We have to turn away from wrongdoing and choose to do what Jesus does.
2Co 6:17-18 Wherefore Come ye out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch no unclean thing; And I will receive you, (18) And will be to you a Father, and ye shall be to me sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
Jesus of Nazareth died on a cross on and was raised three days later, on the first day of the week. Jesus of Nazareth died so you, could come to God like a child in diapers. We are really just children in dirty diapers crying to God to clean and take care of me; Are we not?
Joh 8:31-32 Jesus therefore said to those Jews that had believed him, if ye abide in my word, then are ye truly my disciples; (32) and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Mar 16:15-16 And he said unto them, go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to the whole creation. (16) He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieves shall be condemned.
Do you believe Jesus died so you would never have to do wrong or evil? Yes, or no?
Will you be baptized so you will be saved? Yes, or no?
