Five Benefits, in Romans 8, of Being a Citizen in the Kingdom of Heaven

1. Rom 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus.

  • For those who remain faithful to their baptism into Christ, we face no condemnation. We are not condemned: for Christ has saved us and put our sins in remission through the death burial and resurrection by having crucified ourselves with Christ in the watery grave of baptism.

  • Remember Romans was written to the Saints in Rome (already baptized) and he reminds them in chapter 6 they were baptized into Christ.

  • How great it is to know by abiding faithful, we are not condemned and if we die Heaven is our Home and reward.

2. Rom 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.

  • Without the Holy Spirit, our knowledge of good and evil comes from the Law of Good and Evil, but after baptism, we just walk in Spirit and Truth, loving God first and our neighbor as ourself second.

  • We know what to do, as in Jesus said if you continue in my word, you are my disciples indeed and you will know the truth and the truth will set you free.

  • We can simply live by one rule love your neighbor as yourself and remember God is your neighbor. If you treat everyone like they are Jesus then you cannot go wrong!

3. Rom 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwelleth in you, he that raised up Christ Jesus from the dead shall give life also to your mortal bodies through his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

  • The Holy Spirit gives the things needed to sustain life, as in our physical life, fulfilling it is written in 2Pe 1:3 seeing that his divine power hath granted unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that called us by his own glory and virtue;

  • Jesus died to probe there is nothing that God will not do for you if you just choose not to do wrong or evil and choose to follow the truth in doing right by God and your fellow man. He is willing and able to perform His word and is wanting to bless you.

  • Jesus said whoever believes in Him will not hunger or thirst, Jesus said whoever hungers and thirst after being right with God will be filled. Jesus says, if seek first the kingdom of God all these things shall be added unto you.

4. Rom 8:26 And in like manner the Spirit also helps our infirmity: for we know not how to pray as we ought; but the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered; Rom 8:27 and he that searches the hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because he makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. Rom 8:28 And we know that to them that love God all things work together for good, even to them that are called according to his purpose.

  • We have a promise that Jesus will supply everything we need for our physical life and to be godly (2 Pet 1:3). We have a promise when trials and temptations come upon us, we will have a way of salvation (escape) provided, and we will not be tested above our what we can handle (1 Cor 10:13).

  • This promise is God the Holy Spirit praying for us with words that cannot be uttered. He reads our hearts and minds and intercedes so we will stay faithful and, in the salvation, and will of God.

  • If you get baptized into Christ then you too could have the Holy Spirit as a silent prayer partner the rest of your life.

5. Rom 8:34-39 who is he that condemns? It is Christ Jesus that died, yea rather, that was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. (35) Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? (36) Even as it is written, for thy sake we are killed all the day long; We were accounted as sheep for the slaughter. (37) Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. (38) For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, (39) nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

  • The Next time the Devil is accusing you, just say Jesus dropped the charges you can take that up with Him! There is no condemnation in Christ.

  • Nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ. We are more than conquerors in Christ conquering the world one soul at a time with the good news of Jesus dying so they will never have to choose to do a wrong thing again.

  • Nothing formed or created can separate us from the Love of Christ Jesus the God of gods and the King of kings and the Lord of lords.

  • These are five benefits to those that are baptized into Christ and have become citizens in the kingdom of Heaven.

Jesus of Nazareth became a human being born of a virgin named Mary. Mary provided the egg or the female side of the DNA, and the Creator, supplied the Male side of the DNA, and Jesus was born the only Fathered of our Creator. Jesus grew up under the knowledge of good and evil taught to us by the Jewish nation, the sons and daughters of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The knowledge of good and evil was revealed through the nation Israel, Jesus born a Jew lived under the Old Covenant and never violated the intentions of the Law given to know how to be Holy like God, or How to eschew evil and turn to good. How to renounce the knowledge of evil and practice the knowledge of good. Jesus was the words and intentions of God walking around in human flesh.

Jesus died on the cross called a tree as a forever atoning sacrifice for all those that obey Him and His teachings. Jesus was raised from the dead to show He has power of life and death. Jesus will never ask you to do a wrong thing and Jesus proved a way for all the wrong things to be confessed and forsaken. Jesus died to show you there is nothing God will not do to reconcile you to Him if you will only practice the truth in righteousness. Jesus said, as it is written Joh 3:5-6 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except one be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. (6) That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Jesus also said this, as it is written Mar 16:15-16 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to the whole creation. (16) He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieves shall be condemned.
