- What if we never heard a lie?
Do you remember when you first heard a lie? I do, it was Santa Claus. I overheard my older brother talking about how fake Santa Claus was, and for the first time in my life, I realized I believed a lie. I realized my mom, dad, grandmother, the news man on TV, everyone lied to me. I never got into trouble again after that because I learned to lie. I did not know there was a God until I was 20 years old. Somewhere in my maturing teenaged years, I learned to tell the truth and you would not have to remember the “cool story” you told. So as it is written, my own sin corrected me. I learned to tell the truth because I did not like to be seen as a liar, although back then I lied regularly. I named my truck ALIBIS. However, until I believed a lie, I would have walked on water if Dad had said it was possible, after that I never believed an anything else, because none was trustworthy. Jesus of Nazareth said, Satan is a Liar and the Father of it. Meaning Satan was the first liar that lied. Jesus Christ of Nazareth is the Truth, the Life and the Way, No one can come to the Father except through Him. Jesus said if you hunger and thirst after being right with God, then He will fill your ways. If you hungry ask Jesus how to feed your family, and He will show you how, but you have to want to follow and love the truth. Jesus said whoever believes in Him will not hunger or thirst. Jesus is the way you need; Jesus is the satisfaction and peace you cannot find. For I believe like Augustine, the heart is restless until our hearts rest in Jesus. How do you beat the devil? You got not want what he offers you. All he is selling is a lie, that his ways are better and easier. It is written, resist the devil and he will flee. You got make Jesus your only source, and not want the devil’s offer. This is how you resist the devil, just be like, Jesus I only want to sit and eat at your table and none other. Many have fallen reaching for forbidden fruit and have created themselves many jams. Have you heard the story of how to catch a monkey? The hunter takes a hollowed-out tree and drill holes barely big enough for the monkey to slide his hand in. The hunter fills the hollow tree with fruit, then the monkey squeezes his hand through grabs the fruit and is caught because the fruit and his hand like a fist holding are too big to slide back out of the tree. The monkey can only free himself if he lets go of the fruit inside the tree, but he will not. Then the hunter comes up and takes him captive. This is how the devil works, he offers forbidden fruit telling you the lie it is better than Jesus provides, then when you grab it, you are lost cut off from God and the only way back is to let go of the lie you bought and surrender it to Jesus for cleansing. It is written if we confess our sins he just and will forgive our sins and cleanse us from the unrighteousness associated with it. Will you forsake evil or wrong ways and turn to Jesus asking Him for the Truth you need to live your life by? Or are you bound by the decision to eat forbidden fruit? Jesus died and the cross and was raise from the dead so you would not have to choose to do a wrong thing, and Jesus made a way for all the wrong things we done to be forgiven. All you have to do is love and follow the truth. Jesus said, I am the way, the life and the truth no man comes to the Father except through me. Will you ask Jesus to show you how to live your life right with God and others? Jesus said except we become converted like little children we cannot enter into the kingdom of heaven. We are like children in diapers before a Holy God, and we must come to Daddy Jesus and say dad can I, dad may I, dad will you, dad is that true, dad look what they did to me, etc. Dad teach me how to clothe and feed myself and my family… Jesus said if you seek first the kingdom of heaven all of these things shall be added unto you. Jesus does not promise a mansion in malibu but does promise to our enough. Jesus said, Mat 11:28-30 Come to Me all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. (29) Take My yoke on you and learn of Me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and you shall find rest to your souls. (30) For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light. Do you want a light and easy yoke, Jesus said if you take His yoke and learn about Him you will find rest for your souls? You want a light and easy yoke? Yes or no? If we never heard a lie, then we would only know good and never would have choose between a lie and the truth. Satan is a liar that destroys, Jesus is the truth that heals. Heaven will be a place where no lie exists. It will be a place of only good because no liar will enter into the kingdom of Heaven. Listen: Rev 21:8 But the fearful, and the unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, will have their part in the Lake burning with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. God will punish these and they will not be in Heaven. Is that not good news, Jesus made a way for you never to do evil or a wrong thing, and destroyed the devils works, by making a way to be forgiven of our bad things or sin. Jesus is knocking on the door of your heart today, listen Rev 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come into him and will dine with him and he with Me. Jesus said Mar 16:15-16 And He said to them, Go into all the world, proclaim the gospel to all the creation. (16) He who believes and is baptized will be saved, but he who does not believe will be condemned. Have you been baptized into Christ’s death burial and resurrection? Yes or no? Do you still believe in your baptism? Yes or no? Do you want to go to Heaven? Yes or no? Father, we renounce Satan and all of his lies we have bought or believed, we surrender all and ask you would cleanse and sanctify us, please cleanse us from all the lies of satan and his minister and help us discern good over evil, truth over lies in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.
- Five Benefits, in Romans 8, of Being a Citizen in the Kingdom of Heaven
1. Rom 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus. For those who remain faithful to their baptism into Christ, we face no condemnation. We are not condemned: for Christ has saved us and put our sins in remission through the death burial and resurrection by having crucified ourselves with Christ in the watery grave of baptism. Remember Romans was written to the Saints in Rome (already baptized) and he reminds them in chapter 6 they were baptized into Christ. How great it is to know by abiding faithful, we are not condemned and if we die Heaven is our Home and reward. 2. Rom 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death. Without the Holy Spirit, our knowledge of good and evil comes from the Law of Good and Evil, but after baptism, we just walk in Spirit and Truth, loving God first and our neighbor as ourself second. We know what to do, as in Jesus said if you continue in my word, you are my disciples indeed and you will know the truth and the truth will set you free. We can simply live by one rule love your neighbor as yourself and remember God is your neighbor. If you treat everyone like they are Jesus then you cannot go wrong! 3. Rom 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwelleth in you, he that raised up Christ Jesus from the dead shall give life also to your mortal bodies through his Spirit that dwelleth in you. The Holy Spirit gives the things needed to sustain life, as in our physical life, fulfilling it is written in 2Pe 1:3 seeing that his divine power hath granted unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that called us by his own glory and virtue; Jesus died to probe there is nothing that God will not do for you if you just choose not to do wrong or evil and choose to follow the truth in doing right by God and your fellow man. He is willing and able to perform His word and is wanting to bless you. Jesus said whoever believes in Him will not hunger or thirst, Jesus said whoever hungers and thirst after being right with God will be filled. Jesus says, if seek first the kingdom of God all these things shall be added unto you. 4. Rom 8:26 And in like manner the Spirit also helps our infirmity: for we know not how to pray as we ought; but the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered; Rom 8:27 and he that searches the hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because he makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. Rom 8:28 And we know that to them that love God all things work together for good, even to them that are called according to his purpose. We have a promise that Jesus will supply everything we need for our physical life and to be godly (2 Pet 1:3). We have a promise when trials and temptations come upon us, we will have a way of salvation (escape) provided, and we will not be tested above our what we can handle (1 Cor 10:13). This promise is God the Holy Spirit praying for us with words that cannot be uttered. He reads our hearts and minds and intercedes so we will stay faithful and, in the salvation, and will of God. If you get baptized into Christ then you too could have the Holy Spirit as a silent prayer partner the rest of your life. 5. Rom 8:34-39 who is he that condemns? It is Christ Jesus that died, yea rather, that was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. (35) Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? (36) Even as it is written, for thy sake we are killed all the day long; We were accounted as sheep for the slaughter. (37) Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. (38) For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, (39) nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. The Next time the Devil is accusing you, just say Jesus dropped the charges you can take that up with Him! There is no condemnation in Christ. Nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ. We are more than conquerors in Christ conquering the world one soul at a time with the good news of Jesus dying so they will never have to choose to do a wrong thing again. Nothing formed or created can separate us from the Love of Christ Jesus the God of gods and the King of kings and the Lord of lords. These are five benefits to those that are baptized into Christ and have become citizens in the kingdom of Heaven. Jesus of Nazareth became a human being born of a virgin named Mary. Mary provided the egg or the female side of the DNA, and the Creator, supplied the Male side of the DNA, and Jesus was born the only Fathered of our Creator. Jesus grew up under the knowledge of good and evil taught to us by the Jewish nation, the sons and daughters of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The knowledge of good and evil was revealed through the nation Israel, Jesus born a Jew lived under the Old Covenant and never violated the intentions of the Law given to know how to be Holy like God, or How to eschew evil and turn to good. How to renounce the knowledge of evil and practice the knowledge of good. Jesus was the words and intentions of God walking around in human flesh. Jesus died on the cross called a tree as a forever atoning sacrifice for all those that obey Him and His teachings. Jesus was raised from the dead to show He has power of life and death. Jesus will never ask you to do a wrong thing and Jesus proved a way for all the wrong things to be confessed and forsaken. Jesus died to show you there is nothing God will not do to reconcile you to Him if you will only practice the truth in righteousness. Jesus said, as it is written Joh 3:5-6 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except one be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. (6) That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Jesus also said this, as it is written Mar 16:15-16 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to the whole creation. (16) He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieves shall be condemned. Will you be born of the water and the Spirit by being baptized? Yes or no? - Jesus said Heaven does not come by observing...Who will be in Heaven?
Look at Jesus of Nazareth’s response to people saying your mom and brothers are looking to talk to you…. Mat 12:46-50 While he was yet speaking to the multitudes, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, seeking to speak to him. (47) And one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, seeking to speak to thee. (48) But he answered and said unto him that told him, who is my mother? and who are my brethren? (49) And he stretched forth his hand towards his disciples, and said, Behold, my mother and my brethren! (50) For whosoever shall do the will of my Father who is in heaven, he is my brother, and sister, and mother. Jesus answered and said, WHOSOEVER will do the will of my Father in Heaven, he is my brother and sister and mother. Jesus of Nazareth said, The Kingdom of God does not come from Observation. Luk 17:20-37 And being asked by the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God cometh, he answered them and said, the kingdom of God cometh not with observation: (21) neither shall they say, lo, here! or, there! for lo, the kingdom of God is within you. (22) And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it. (23) And they shall say to you, Lo, there! Lo, here! go not away, nor follow after them: (24) for as the lightning, when it lightens out of the one part under the heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so, shall the Son of man be in his day. (25) But first must he suffer many things and be rejected of this generation. (26) And as it came to pass in the days of Noah, even so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. (27) They ate, they drank, they married, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. (28) Likewise even as it came to pass in the days of Lot; they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; (29) but in the day that Lot went out from Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all: (30) after the same manner shall it be in the day that the Son of man is revealed. (31) In that day, he that shall be on the housetop, and his goods in the house, let him not go down to take them away: and let him that is in the field likewise not return back. (32) Remember Lot's wife. (33) Whosoever shall seek to gain his life shall lose it: but whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it. (34) I say unto you, In that night there shall be two men on one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. (35) There shall be two women grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. (36) There shall be two men in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. (37) And they answering say unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Where the body is, thither will the eagles also be gathered together. Here in this passage, Jesus foretells the destruction of Jerusalem, and when Titus the roman general invaded and conquered in 70 A.D., those that were still there in Jerusalem were done this way, some were killed some were spared. Jesus was saying for the End to Come certain things have to happen for the Faithful Few and the ushering in a Kingdom of God, or Heaven our final goal, to occur. It is written Rev 21:8 But for the fearful (Cowards), and unbelieving (faithless), and abominable, and murderers, and fornicators, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, their part shall be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death. Jesus warns the Pharisees or Jews, when you see these things flee, if you try to save your life then you will lose it. If you flee and forsake your will, then you will live. Jesus tells them to run when they see these things happening, because there is no rhyme or reason as to who survives the coming onslaught. Jesus taught His followers that faith does not eliminate problem but gives what is needed to overcome our trials and temptation. Faith supplies the ability to overcome. Jesus said, nothing is impossible with God, however, Jesus never said following Him would be safe and free of problems, just worth it. Jesus never said there would not be a storm of life, in fact Jesus said there would be storms that come upon every man listen to this: Mat 7:24-27 Everyone therefore that heareth these words of mine, and doeth them, shall be likened unto a wise man, who built his house upon the rock: (25) and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon the rock. (26) And everyone that heareth these words of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, who built his house upon the sand: (27) and the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and smote upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall thereof. Jesus never promised a safe passage only a safe landing. In this passage, Jesus again says those that survive DO, those that watch or observe, and not do, fall because they do not what Jesus said. Those that love Jesus DO what He said DO on the matter. Have you asked the Great Physician, Jesus of Nazareth to Author you a plan of salvation, redemption, and reconciliation that results in eternal life in Heaven? Yes, or no? Jesus of Nazareth was the only Human to be Fathered by our Creator, or the Father of All, Heb 5:8-9 though he was a Son yet learned obedience by the things which he suffered; (9) and having been made perfect, he became unto all of them that obey him the author of eternal salvation. Jesus is the Author of Salvation to all those that obey Him, or DO more than observe and watch, these DO what Jesus would DO. Jesus said: Joh 3:3-5 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except one be born anew, he cannot see the kingdom of God. (4) Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter a second time into his mother's womb, and be born? (5) Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except one be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. Jesus said, Mar 16:15-16 And he said unto them, go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to the whole creation. (16) He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieves shall be condemned. Jesus of Nazareth died so you would never have to choose a wrong thing and made a way for the wrong things we done to be forgiven, Jesus will never ask you to do a wrong thing. Will you surrender all to Jesus of Nazareth in surrendering obedience to His Will, and turn your heart, mind, spirit, and direction away from evil, in what is called repentance? Yes, or no? Hear then these words which are able to save your soul and give you eternal life: Act 2:38-39 And Peter said unto them, Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. (39) For to you is the promise, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call unto him. Notice the promise is for any who our God will call. Meaning if you obey the same message of salvation then you will receive the same promise. When cancer goes into remission, although present it is harmless, when baptized into Christ our fleshly nature is no longer a problem. Will you be baptized into Christ? Yes, or no? - Do you have clean hands to worship God?
Many people try and invite and get unbelievers into a church building. Jesus said, His mission was to call sinners to repentance, and He said unless you repent (change your heart, mind, and direction) you will perish (Luke 13:5). Many believe they can live however they want and still be forgiven; they exhaust the grace and mercy of God in their lives by running with devils then calling on His name. You cannot sit at the table of devils and the table of Jesus. Jesus expects, for all to forsake anything that is not from Him. Jesus said I am the life the way and the truth. Jesus died so that you would never have to choose a wrong thing, and made a way for all the wrong things done to be reconciled. Jesus said this about worshipping God: Jesus of Nazareth the Christ said: Mat 5:21-26 Ye have heard that it was said to them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment: (22) but I say unto you, that everyone who is angry with his brother shall be in danger of the judgment; and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council; and whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of the hell of fire. (23) If therefore thou art offering thy gift at the altar, and there remembers that thy brother hath aught against thee, (24) leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way, first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift. Jesus said if you have ill spoken of a brother or done a brother wrong in other words, then go and make things right so you can worship God with an upright heart or clean hands. How many in the congregations, need to shake hands with each other while assembled! Much less, those we have wrong through our short comings and rebellion outside the walls of the church of Christ. How important it is to love our neighbors as ourselves, and yet the simplicity of Christ in simple obedience is the wisdom that saves one from a fiery Hell of eternal destruction and misery. Can you look every man in the eye and know there is no quarrel or wrong doing between you, have you been honest? Yes or No? If the one you done wrong is your enemy, then what do you do Jesus? Jesus said: (25) Agree with thine adversary quickly, while thou art with him in the way; lest haply the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison. (26) Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou have paid the last farthing. If you cheated your enemy out of some money, then you must come to terms to make peace and reconcile the wrong done. You are the Christian that sinned not the done wrong (unbeliever), so it is up to You to take action and reconcile any differences or your enemy will accuse you and prove you wrong for what you have done and you face the legal system or the judge. So better to come to terms of peace when an offense has taken place rather than sitting on your hands doing nothing, go reconcile and apologize, try to achieve forgiveness and if not achieve peace. Have you any amends to make? Any apologies that need to be made? Any truth needs to shed on a division or quarrel? Let us remember that God forgives the ugly in anyone who turns from their wrong ways, and if christ forgives the worse in me, who am I to not forgive the worse someone else? Jesus said unless we forgive, we cannot be forgiven. Some people you got to forgive just because they exist! Let us forgive in a spirit of mercy and reconciliation looking for the perfect moment to confess and make amends with those we remember we done wrong. When you seek forgiveness and reconciliation do it wisely, look for the right time and opportunity to achieve forgiveness and try to restore the dignity of those you sinned against, they are the better man forgiving you. Father, please remove anything that is hindering us from being reconciled with you and all others, please give us the courage and right opportunity to seek reconciliation and forgiveness, we forgive all those that have done us wrong, so we too can be forgiven, please accept our worship so we may we worship in spirit and truth, In Jesus of Nazareth name, Amen.
- Jesus said, Heaven is like a mustard seed...
Matthew 13:31-32 ASV Another parable set he before them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is like unto a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and sowed in his field: [32] which indeed is less than all seeds; but when it is grown, it is greater than the herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the heaven come and lodge in the branches thereof. Jesus teaches the least of the seeds can become a tree for shelter if you are a citizen in the kingdom of Heaven: The kingdom of heaven, as Heaven, as in the citizens of the kingdom of heaven, we are mustard seeds. When we first began to be planted through the waters of baptism having been born of the water and Spirit, we began as children in diapers not knowing how to clean ourselves or feed ourselves, but called on our Daddy, to teach us correct us and instruct us. We continue to grow naturally planted with Christ into a mature man, that is able to shelter those who stand under the shield of a mature faith. Let us think back to being baptized where we were planted in the death burial and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth the Christ. We received all the promise of the Holy Spirit then, we need nothing external. The Holy Spirit is the Agent that keeps our sins in remission, His mission is to pray us through the evil trial and temptations that come upon everyman, He is our silent prayer partner, always praying that we stay faithful and in the will of God (Rom 8:26). He is fulfilling the promise in 1 Cor 10:13, that no matter the trial or temptation that comes upon every man, when you are faced with these trials and temptations, He makes a Way for you be able to endure it and for it not to be more than you can handle. In other words, no matter the trial and temptation the Holy Spirit of promise is praying you out of Hell and into Heaven always. Jesus said we will know the truth not have a daily conversation with Him. We just know what to do and we do it, we of course check our ideas with the word of God for application of the Holy Knowledge of what to do in our circumstances, and in all cases surrender all to Jesus of Nazareth for His will to done not ourselves. When you do not know the truth, but your salvation depends on the truth ask Jesus of Nazareth, He will confirm which is the way of salvation and you will know the truth and the way and be living the life pleasing to God. John 8:31-32 ASV Jesus therefore said to those Jews that had believed him, If ye abide in my word, then are ye truly my disciples; [32] and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Will you continue in Jesus words? Yes or No? Jesus said, John 12:47-48 ASV And if any man hear my sayings, and keep them not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. [48] He that rejects me, and receives not my sayings, hath one that judges him: the word that I spoke, the same shall judge him in the last day. If you do believe Jesus died so you will never have to choose evil or wrong again, then you will keep His word which instructs of the truth that saves our souls? Yes or no? If you choose to reject Jesus then He allows you to be free to make all the wrong choices you want, but the word that taught you the truth will be your judge, as to either you obeyed it or rebelled against it. Jesus said He will give you a light and easy yoke if you will learn of Him, Listen: Matthew 11:28-30 ASV Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Will you agree to read the New Agreement between God and mankind that works reconciliation, This New Agreement between our Creator and mankind is called the New Testament (Agreement, Covenant) of Jesus Christ? - Role of Men in God's eyes short Devotional
1Co 16:13-14, “Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. (14) Let all your things be done with charity.” In this passage, Paul tells them quit being you and be like men. He is telling the guys to man up and act like a man. What then is a man in God’s eyes? Manhood has been under attack, there are many that do not know how to set a manly example. There are some paying mad doctors to hack up their bodies, and then say accept my expensive costume. They are mental, they are coveting after what even nature defines as wrong. They want what is contrary to the natural man, they have forgotten or perhaps never knew it is wrong to covet after what God has not given you. Covet means to fix the desire on, as I desire what God has not given me. These men want to act like girls. We are told in 1 Cor 6:9 that the effeminate will not inherit the kingdom of God and the word effeminate means soft to the touch as in sissies or men acting like girls. In 1 Tim 1:10, we are told the homosexuals will not enter into the kingdom of God. In these three passages, men are encouraged to man up and be a man, to watch (to take care of things), stand fast in the faith, and let all things be done out of love. Holy Father help us to be men’s men doing your will and fulfill our plan and purpose in your kingdom, we renounce satan, sin, and anything else you do not approve of, please cleanse us and make us pure, in Jesus of Nazareth name may it be so. As always, ask Jesus of Nazareth to confirm this truth to you. For you are like whitewashed tombs which on the outside appear beautiful, but inside they are full of dead men's bones and all uncleanness. In the movie Godfather III, Mafia chief Michael Corleone meets with Cardinal Lamberto, reporting to the Cardinal that executives from the Vatican bank and even an Archbishop, have been involved in a massive case of fraud. After hearing this news Cardinal Lamberto moves to a water fountain, withdraws a stone and says: "Look at this stone. It has been lying in the water for a very long time, but the water has not penetrated it." He breaks the stone in two, shows the inside to Don Michael and continues, "Look. Perfectly dry. The same thing has happened to men in Europe. For centuries they have been surrounded by Christianity, but Christ has not penetrated. Christ doesn't breathe within them." Just a scene from a movie? Unfortunately, we have all seen those who are seeped in Christianity yet, like the rock, are still "dry" on the inside. It's not enough to talk like a Christian, to go to church, to do good things. We must be soaked on the inside with Christ, with Jesus breathing within us. So, are your insides wet or dry? Jesus said, except a man is born of the water and the Spirit he cannot enter in to the kingdom of God or Heaven, Jesus also said, he that believes and is baptized will be saved but he that does not believe will be damned. Jesus said if you take His yoke upon and learn about Him, for He is meek and lowly in heart and you will finds rest for your souls. Do you want rest for your soul? Yes or No? - Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled…
Jesus of Nazareth said that anyone that hungers and thirsts after righteousness will be filled. This is a promise of Jesus! Jesus always fulfills His words; Jesus is not slack to perform and kept His promises to all those that hunger and thirst after doing or being right with their Creator. You need to know how to feed yourself the right way, earn a living the right way, or how to be forgiven: Jesus will fill your way. When is the last time you wanted to be right with God? Do you want to go to Heaven? You will never get to live in Heaven unless you decide to go. Heaven is a prepared place for prepared people. I hope we all know what is between us and our Creator so we can be reconciled through the work of Jesus. Rev 18:4-5 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come forth, my people, out of her, that ye have no fellowship with her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues: (5) for her sins have reached even unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities. These are the instructions to those that were in Babylon, God says to come out of her and have no fellowship with her sins. Or You will receive her plagues. Jesus says to hunger and thirst after righteousness, we have to let go of anything from our past, we have to submit and surrender all we have and have done to Jesus of Nazareth in a changing of mind, heart, and direction. Jesus is merciful, and will instruct and correct those with upright heart who want to be righteous in His eyes. So let go and let God instruct you so you can be right with Him. 2Co 6:14-18 Be not unequally yoked with unbelievers: for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? or what communion hath light with darkness? (15) And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what portion hath a believer with an unbeliever? (16) And what agreement hath a temple of God with idols? for we are a temple of the living God; even as God said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. (17) Wherefore Come ye out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch no unclean thing; And I will receive you, (18) And will be to you a Father, and ye shall be to me sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. You cannot sit at the table of devils and the table of Jesus. You cannot be a partaker of Babylon and not receive the plagues caused by her sin. Jesus is light and these devils are darkness, they reject the will of God and thus create evil. After all, is that not what evil is, rejection of God? Darkness is the absence of light, and evil is the absence of God. Jesus said He would fill our ways if we hunger and thirst after righteousness, so let us seek Jesus and hunger and thirst after being right with God. Mat 6:9-15 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. (10) Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so on earth. - Before God we are a child in diapers...
We are just little children in diapers before God… Jesus of Nazareth said: Mat 18:3-4 and said, Verily I say unto you, except ye turn, and become as little children, ye shall in no wise enter into the kingdom of heaven. (4) Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Let us examine a baby needs verses our soul’s deepest need: A Baby cannot clean himself but is in dirty diapers until someone cleans him. Rom 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Act 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, that so there may come seasons of refreshing from the presence of the Lord. A Baby does not know good and evil, has no knowledge of good or evil but has to be instructed on how to behave correctly, morally. Adam and Eve ate directly from the tree of good and evil, and instantly knew all good and all evil. (Gen 3:5-6) When they had kids, the kids did not eat and therefore had no knowledge of good or evil, but their knowledge of good and evil came from the instructions of Adam and Eve. Same is true today, kids are born innocent not knowing good or evil. It is our job to teach then how to become like God and be moral. A Baby has to be instructed, nurtured, and taught how to grow into adulthood. 2Ti 2:15 Give diligence to present thyself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, handling aright the word of truth. 2Ti 3:16-17 Every scripture inspired of God is also profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction which is in righteousness: (17) that the man of God may be complete, furnished completely unto every good work. 1Pe 2:1-3 Putting away therefore all wickedness, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speaking, (2) as newborn babes, long for the spiritual milk, which is without guile, that ye may grow thereby unto salvation; (3) if ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious: A Baby cannot protect himself from the dangers in the world. Just like a baby without its parents, so are we if we wander from the will of God. We have to turn away from wrongdoing and choose to do what Jesus does. 2Co 6:17-18 Wherefore Come ye out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch no unclean thing; And I will receive you, (18) And will be to you a Father, and ye shall be to me sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. Jesus of Nazareth died on a cross on and was raised three days later, on the first day of the week. Jesus of Nazareth died so you, could come to God like a child in diapers. We are really just children in dirty diapers crying to God to clean and take care of me; Are we not? Joh 8:31-32 Jesus therefore said to those Jews that had believed him, if ye abide in my word, then are ye truly my disciples; (32) and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. We like little children in diapers cry out clean me and teach me how to stay clean like you daddy Jesus… Jesus died so you would not have to choose wrongdoing or evil. Jesus of Nazareth died so you could walk in truth and Spirit not to be deceive or be deceived by Satan and his minister of lies. Do you want to be free from the minister of lies? Yes, or no? Jesus says, Mat 5:6 Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Do you want to do the wrong thing? Yes, or no? Jesus said if we hunger and thirst after what is right with God, He will fill you up. Do you want to know how to live right with God? Yes, or no? Mat 6:33-34 But seek ye first his kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. (34) Be not therefore anxious for the morrow: for the morrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. Joh 6:35 Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall not hunger, and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. Jesus says if seek Heaven and its righteousness then you will have enough. Joh 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except one be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. (16) He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieves shall be condemned. Do you believe Jesus died so you would never have to do wrong or evil? Yes, or no? Will you be baptized so you will be saved? Yes, or no? Father we are calling on Jesus of Nazareth, we are but children in dirty diapers and need the Great Physician, daddy Jesus to clean us, guide us, guard us, and protect us from sin, so we can be like You and Your Sinless Son, please give us the cure and remedy for all our dirty diapers, in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.
- About the death and scourging of Jesus in diagrams...
Jesus of Nazareth was scourged for your sins and mine. God’s righteousness must punish sin. That punishment is death. If you are in your sins, then you will suffer wrath of GOD. The good news is Jesus paid your debt, to set you free! As a process of a love offering, a propitiation of sin, Jesus was scourged. Below is a diagram of how the Roman Soldiers would scourge a criminal. There was a man, named a Lictor. His job was to oversee soldiers administering the punishment and keep the criminal alive…The romans called a scourging the half-dead punishment, because it left the victim barely alive. Jesus endured such a cruel and harsh form of punishment, without sinning against God, for your sins and my sins… Jesus of Nazareth was crucified on a cross called a tree… Jesus after losing much blood during the scourging, was nailed to the cross through His hands and feet. Left to die in the Sun. Our sins suffocated Him, in the picture, Jesus would have to stand up un His feet and breath. Then He would slowly suffocate, until He stood up again for a good breath of air, this process repeated until Jesus gave up the Ghost. Jesus suffered cruelty for never sinning, in order so, you and I could never choose to do a wrong or evil thing again! Jesus of Nazareth died on the cross and was raised three days later to the Glory of the Father, He overcame death, hell, Satan, and sin when He was raised from the dead. Jesus of Nazareth died so you will never have to choose a wrong thing and will teach you how to do the right thing. Jesus of Nazareth said, whoever hungers and thirst after righteousness will be filled, Mat 5:6. Meaning, when you want to do right, Jesus will fill your desire to do the right things by Him and His Father in Heaven. Do you want to do the right thing and not the wrong thing? Yes or No? Jesus said, except you become converted as a child you cannot enter into the kingdom of Heaven. A child in diapers cannot clean or feed himself, and neither can we clean ourselves from the wrong deeds we have done. Jesus died to clean us, and free us from ever doing evil or wrong things again. Is that not good news? When we come to Jesus, we never have to do a wrong thing again? When we come to Jesus, we must be like a child, asking daddy, can I? Daddy, may I? Daddy looks at what happened to me? Daddy, I need to be cleaned… etc. Jesus said, if you follow Him, you will not hunger or thirst, listen: Joh 6:35 Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall not hunger, and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. Jesus said, Mat 11:28-30 Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. (29) Take my yoke upon you and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. (30) For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Do you want rest for your soul and a light and easy yoke? Yes or No? Do you want to go to heaven? Yes or No? Will you read the New Agreement between God and mankind called the New Testament of Christ? Yes or No? - What if satan, came to church…would he find a beating or forgiveness from the good brethren?
I was talking to a guy, he said people in his Christian group began to shun or disfellowship him because he let some cuss words slip. When he went to the one disfellowshipping him, the Christian quoted a bunch of verse and condemn him for using cuss words. This provoked me to think, the guy must have been self-righteous. Meaning he think he so right he cannot hear cuss words, but only shout scripture and condemn. Have you ever noticed Jesus at times gave those He ministered to, something to do a command to obey when correcting sin? “Go. And Sin no more”. This is what Jesus said to the woman caught in adultery, who by law would have been killed that day. In other words, after showing mercy and basically saving her life, He tells her a command Go, and adds to the command Sin no more. All she had to do, was keep herself clean. How many of good brethren have run off people we have begged to come to church, just to be belittled, rejected, and told they do not belong. The self-righteous offers correction without instruction. I believe correction without instruction is cruelty. They tell them, “You wrong” by quoting scripture and walking off. I imagine being in those shoes again, thanks for calling me a sinner, but could you tell me how to fix myself? If not, then I will leave buddy. You essentially accomplished not a thing but making you feel more righteous than me. Did you offer me a plan of redemption, reconciliation, or salvation? Or did you just push your way out of my problems by being too righteous to help me solve them? What? You condemn a believer and then don’t tell him how to be a better man? Then you part of the problem and not the solution, do you realize Jesus judgement on the judgmental? you self-righteous need nothing from me or God. Maybe you will wake up one day and see being here and participating is a confession I need Jesus’ help, why would I waste my time or yours? Even Jesus said, he did not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance. You self-righteous people, are so good and blameless at keeping laws, you think you do not sin, or do you not realize, you’re not righteous at all; even if you are blameless, because at some point you broke the law and have been as guilty as me. Instead of teaching the way of redemption you quote scripture and condemn then move on to the next victim. Brood of vipers, Jesus called them in His day. Doing more damage in the name of Jesus to their brethren by being busybodies so they can keep one’s reputation of Christian. To always be the “you wrong for that” but have no part in the solution. Is it not written, you self-righteous hypocrites, there is none righteous no not one? Is not written, to him that says he has no sin, the truth is not in him. Is it not written, if we confess our sin Jesus is just and will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from the unrighteousness? What if satan, came to church…would he find a beating or forgiveness from the good brethren?

(46) And these shall go away into eternal punishment: but the righteous into eternal life. This was one discourse, a sermon, given by the Author of Salvation (Heb 5:8-9) Himself. What is the sermon about? How we are given our talents, how we are rewarded if faithful with our talents, what those talents are and who used them faithfully? How we are given our talents… A man going on a journey gives His servants His goods He gives according to his discernment of their abilities… One man 5 talents (talents is a weight a measurement, weighing about 3000 shekels, or about 114 lbs., does not say, but gold would have been the highest standard) 5 x 114 = 570lbs of gold One man 2 talents (114lbs x 2 = 228 lbs. of gold) One man 1 talent, 114 lbs. of gold. If a very rich man gives his servants a large sum of money, when he goes on a journey, what would he expect? Them to take care of his money and serve him. Some went to work making more money or being faithful to their giver. One, does nothing with His Lord’s money, the others go to work and are successful in business. The owner comes and checks on his business (his servants). Two have been prosperous, industrious and have a gain. He rewards their faithfulness with more abundance. Then the owner comes to the one that hid his Lord’s money and gave it back just as it was given him. The Lord was mad, he cast him away into outer darkness because he did nothing for gain. He was lazy, slothful, and accomplished nothing, as in useless. The Master, or owner, then strips the talent from the man that did nothing and gave it to the one who was most faithful. Jesus teaches us here: whomever has faithfulness, more abundance will be given. Whoever does not have faithfulness, even the gift God gave him will be taken away if he does not use it correctly. In this case, putting money in a bank, to gain interest was the minimum requirement of faithfulness, but this man could not even do a simple task; with a large sum of money. So, then it is as it is written, God is a Rewarder of those that diligently seek Him, Heb 11:6. And also God corrects his children, Heb 12:6 For whom the Lord loveth he chastens, and scourges every son whom he receives. He then gives the ultimate visitation: the Judgement Scene. Then uses as an illustration of what God expects faithfulness to look like with our (money or talents of gold in this teaching)… Those rewarded for faithfulness, with more in Heaven: fed Him, Clothed Him, Gave Him drink, Visited Him in prison and when He sick… these were the ones that God considered faithful with large sums of money. Use the gold of this world to buy you gold in Heaven. Those who did not use their money by treating their neighbors as themselves, by serving those in need, were rejected and cast out. Those that had given of their money through faithful obedience were rewarded with eternal treasure in Heaven. You cannot out give God: it is written, Pro 19:17 He that hath pity upon the poor lends unto Jehovah, and his good deed will he pay him again., John the Baptist message of fruits of repentance, was whoever has two coats give to one that has none. How many of us still need to learn and practice treating our neighbors as ourself. What if you were without a coat, would you want to be warm? What if you were without food, would you want to be fed? What if you were dehydrated? Would you want a drink of water? What if you were sick? Would you want someone to pray for and visit you? What if you were in prison? Would you want someone to visit you and, in those days, if someone did not bring you food in prison you starved. It is good news that whoever follows Jesus will not hunger and will not thirst, listen to Jesus words: John 6:35 Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall not hunger, and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.It is so good news to know, if we continue in truth and spirit, then we will be faithful. When we are faithful, we seek God and are rewarded by remaining true to His word. How many of us can spare a shirt? However, it is much more important it is to share the good news of Jesus. Jesus died so they will never have to choose to do a wrong or immoral thing, and if you will just walk in spirit and truth remaining faithful to Him, He will provide food, water, enough for your soul’s deepest needs. He is the Great Physician, that will write you the prescription, remedy, and administer the cure for all that ails or have been afflicted with, if you come to Him. None of Christ’s faithful few, are begging bread, if we could share Christ then we could have them feed on Jesus, the Living Bread who gives the Living Water, eternally. Our Father will adopt anyone who will love and practice the truth of His Son who died on the cross and was raised the third day. It is written, 2Co 6:17-18 Wherefore Come you out from among them, and be you separate, saith the Lord, and touch no unclean thing; And I will receive you, (18) And will be to you a Father, and you shall be to me sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
