Who is the Greatest in the Kingdom of God…
…At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, "Who then is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?" And after calling a little child to Him, Jesus set him in their midst, And said, "Truly I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, there is no way that you shall enter into the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever shall humble himself as this little child, he is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever shall receive one such little child in My name receives Me. But whoever shall cause one of these little ones who believe in Me to offend, it would be better for him that a millstone be hung around his neck and he be sunk in the depths of the sea…For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, so that everyone who believes in Him may not perish, but may have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world that He might judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him…But what God had before announced by the mouth of all His prophets, that Christ should suffer, He has accordingly fulfilled. Therefore, repent and be converted in order that your sins may be blotted out, so that the times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord; And that He may send Him Who was before proclaimed to you, Jesus Christ…(Mat 18:1-6 Joh 3:16-17 Act 3:18-20)
…For this is good and acceptable before God our Savior, Who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one Mediator between God and men—the Man Christ Jesus… Although He was a Son, yet He learned obedience from the things that He suffered; And having been perfected, He became the Author of eternal salvation to all those who obey Him…For because He Himself has suffered, having been tempted in like manner, He is able to help those who are being tempted… Having therefore a great High Priest, Who has passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, we should hold fast the confession of our faith. For we do not have a high priest who cannot empathize with our weaknesses, but One Who was tempted in all things according to the likeness of our own temptations; yet He was without sin. Therefore, we should come with boldness to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need… (1Ti 2:3-5 Heb 5:8-9 Heb 2:18 Heb 4:14-16)
Follow the Law of Moses or Jesus Christ’s new agreement called the New Testament of Christ…
…For the law was given through Moses, and the grace and the truth came through Jesus Christ… Why then the law? It was placed alongside the promises for the purpose of defining transgressions, until the Seed should come to whom the promise was made, having been ordained through angels in the hand of a mediator… In this way, the law was our tutor to lead us to Christ that we might be justified by faith. But since faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor Because you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ did put on Christ…(Joh 1:17 Gal 3:19 Gal 3:24-27)
…Or are you ignorant that we, as many as were baptized into Christ Jesus, were baptized into His death? Therefore, we were buried with Him through the baptism into the death ; so that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, in the same way, we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been conjoined together in the likeness of His death, so also shall we be in the likeness of His resurrection. Knowing this, that our old man was co-crucified with Him in order that the body of sin might be destroyed, so that we might no longer be enslaved to sin…For I say through the grace that was given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think with sound-mindedness, as God has divided to each one a measure of faith…Now without faith it is impossible to please God. For it is mandatory for the one who comes to God to believe that He exists, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him…(Rom 6:3-6 Rom 12:3 Heb 11:6)
…In the same way also, faith, if it does not have works, is dead, by itself… That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth one confesses unto salvation Because the scripture says…Everyone who believes in Him shall not be ashamed….So then, faith comes by hearing, and hearing through the Word of God…But if Christ is being preached, that He rose from the dead, how is it that some among you are saying that there is no resurrection of the dead? For if there is no resurrection from the dead, neither has Christ been raised. And if Christ has not been raised, then our preaching is in vain, and your faith is also in vain…(Jas 2:17 Rom 10:9-11, 17 1Co 15:12-14)
Jesus is reigning on the right hand of God until the end comes and after His enemies are made His footstool…
But on the other hand, of the Son He says, "Your throne, O God, is into the ages of eternity; a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom. You loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; because of this, God, even Your God, has anointed You with the oil of gladness above Your companions." And, "You, Lord, in the beginning did lay the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of Your hands. They will perish, but You remain forever; and they will all grow old like a garment, And You will roll them up like a covering, and they shall be changed; but You are the same, and Your years will not end." But unto which of the angels did He ever say, "Sit at My right hand, until I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet"?…Afterwards the end comes, when He shall have delivered up the kingdom to Him Who is God and Father, when He shall have put an end to all rule and all authority and power. For it is ordained that He reign until He has put all enemies under His feet. The last enemy to be destroyed is death…And to you, who are persecuted, rest with us, at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with His mighty angels, Dealing out vengeance with flaming fire upon those who do not know God, and those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ; Who will suffer the penalty of eternal destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of His strength…(Heb 1:8-13 1Co 15:24-26 2Th 1:7-9)
…Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away, and there was no more sea. And I, John, saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice from heaven say, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men; and He shall dwell with them, and they shall be His people; and God Himself shall be with them and be their God. And God shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there shall not be any more death, or sorrow, or crying; neither shall there be any more pain, because the former things have passed away."…
…And He Who sits on the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new." Then He said to me, "Write, for these words are true and faithful." And He said to me, "It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the one who thirsts, I will give freely of the fountain of the water of life. The one who overcomes shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be My son…
…But the cowardly, and unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and fornicators, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone; which is the second death."…And he said to me, "These words are faithful and true; and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent His angel to show His servants the things that must shortly come to pass. Behold, I am coming quickly. Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book."… And the Spirit and the bride say, "Come." And let the one who hears say, "Come." And let the one who thirsts come; and let the one who desires partake of the water of life freely. For I jointly testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book, that if anyone adds to these things, God shall add to him the plagues that are written in this book. And if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part from the book of life, and from the holy city, and from the things that are written in this book. He Who testifies these things says, "Surely, I am coming quickly." Amen . Even so, come, Lord Jesus. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. (Rev 21:1-8 Rev 22:6-7 Rev 22:17-21)
