How to please God with singing…

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth...John 4:23-24.

 

What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also...1 Corinthians 14:15.

 

Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ...Ephesians 5:19-20.

 

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him...Colossians 3:16-17.

 

How can you please God…walk in spirit and truth and then worship Him with a song singing with understanding. Does your devotions of studying for knowledge include singing to God afterward or before? Singing is way to draw near to God for He is seeking those who worship Him! Jesus told the woman at the well any day or hour is a good hour to worship the Father, we no longer have to wait until the Sabbath day as long as we are keeping ourselves Holy or walking in the spirit and the truth. So sing a song to God and please Him!

 

Prayer

Father please cleanse us and grant us repentance so we can worship you in Spirit and the Truth, please meet our soul’s deepest needs and prosper us who worship You…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.

Confession is good for the soul…

And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God...John 3:19-21.

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever...1 John 2:15-17.

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness...1 John 1:7-9.


Have you renounced satan, and this world…yes or no? Have you confessed your darkest sins to Jesus and asked what must you do to repent and be right with Him…yes or no? Jesus said the truth will set us free…we have to confess our sins or else we will not be bringing our darkness to the light for cleansing…may God grant us repentance and confession of sin!


Prayer

Father we renounce satan and the second beast which is in the world…please grant us repentance so we can be right with You…meet our soul’s deepest needs and heal us so we can walk with You in the truth…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.

Have you been born again…

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God...John 3:3-5. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned...Mark 16:16. Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call...Acts 2:38-39.

 

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new...2 Corinthians 5:17.

 

Prayer

Father please meet our soul’s deepest needs and our bodies needs…please restore to us the joy of salvation…and grant us repentance and remission of sins…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.
