Who do you serve Jesus and His teaching of the truth or yourselves?

Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

...John 8:31-32.

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

...Romans 8:2-3.

What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

...Romans 6:15-18.

Jesus will reveal the truth of sin unto us all we have to do is obey the truth when it is revealed unto us. Jesus died on the cross and was raised from the dead so that you and I could choose right over wrong, spiritual life over spiritual death, and truth over lies. Jesus said blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness for they will be filled. Jesus blessed are the meek(obedient to the truth) for they shall inherit the earth. Jesus loves you and wants you to abide in the truth. Will you renounce this world, satan, and self and follow Jesus the truth…yes or no?

Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled…

And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread (Truth) of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst...John 6:35.

Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof...Matthew 6:30-34.

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus...Philippians 4:19.

Have you ever considered just for proper interpretation or as an exercise to learn substituting the word truth for bread in John 6? We hear people say break unto us the bread of life…Jesus is the bread. When we ask for our daily bread are we asking for the truth of life so we can serve Him and not physical bread? If we seek first His kingdom we will have enough…Jesus does not promise a mansion in Beverely Hills but in Heaven if we are faithful. Jesus will be enough for your every need.

Prayer

Father please meet our soul’s deepest needs and fill us full of the truth and spirit in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.

How to please God with singing…

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth...John 4:23-24.

What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also...1 Corinthians 14:15.

Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ...Ephesians 5:19-20.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him...Colossians 3:16-17.

How can you please God…walk in spirit and truth and then worship Him with a song singing with understanding. Does your devotions of studying for knowledge include singing to God afterward or before? Singing is way to draw near to God for He is seeking those who worship Him! Jesus told the woman at the well any day or hour is a good hour to worship the Father, we no longer have to wait until the Sabbath day as long as we are keeping ourselves Holy or walking in the spirit and the truth. So sing a song to God and please Him!

Prayer

Father please cleanse us and grant us repentance so we can worship you in Spirit and the Truth, please meet our soul’s deepest needs and prosper us who worship You…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.
