  • No Jesus, no heaven. Know Jesus, know heaven!

No Jesus, no heaven. Know Jesus, know heaven!   Jesus said…Mat 5:17-18 ASV  Think not that I came to destroy the law or the prophets: I came not to destroy, but to fulfil.  18  For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass away from the law, till all things be accomplished… When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, He said, It is finished: and He bowed his head, and gave up His spirit.   Mat 5:19-20 ASV  Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.  20  For I say unto you, that except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no wise enter into the kingdom of heaven… Deu 4:2 ASV  Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish from it, that ye may keep the commandments of Jehovah your God which I command you…And He declared unto you his covenant, which He commanded you to perform, even the ten commandments; and He wrote them upon two tables of stone. Deu 4:13 ASV    The minimum requirements of the Law is the Ten Commandments…Jesus being from the tribe of Judah had only to keep the Ten Commandments to be considered sinless or Holy. Jesus never broke any of the Ten Commandments and suffered our punishment as if He broke all Ten so He could forgive us and teach us His New Laws called the New Testament of Christ… Mat 11:27-30 ASV  All things have been delivered unto Me of my Father: and no one knows the Son, save the Father; neither doth any know the Father, save the Son, and He to whomsoever the Son wills to reveal Him.  28  Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  29  Take my yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.  30  For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light…Jesus therefore said to those Jews that had believed Him, If ye abide in my word, then are ye truly my disciples;  32  and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Joh 8:31-32 ASV    Jesus said if you continue in His word you will know the truth…not be told the truth. Many of us have learned how to become a Christian from preaching, reading, and other forms of teaching…after being baptized into Christ the promise of the Holy Spirit keeps you in the will of God  revealing the needed truth so we can practice the truth and not offend God…look at Mary the mother of Jesus…she was told by an angel of her purpose…not by a voice on the wind!   Jesus said take His Yoke (being interpreted means His teaching) and you will find rest for your souls…rest for the souls comes by being delivered from temptation and testing. Do you want to be tempted? Or Tested…yes or no? Jesus will never ask you to do a wrong thing…listen… Blessed is the man that endures temptation; for when he hath been approved, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord promised to them that love Him.  13  Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God; for God cannot be tempted with evil, and He himself tempts no man:  14  but each man is tempted, when he is drawn away by his own lust, and enticed.  15  Then the lust, when it hath conceived, bears sin: and the sin, when it is full grown, bringeth forth death.  16  Be not deceived, my beloved brethren.  17  Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, neither shadow that is cast by turning.  18  Of His own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of His creatures. Jas 1:12-18 ASV    So have you asked the Author of salvation to write you a plan of reconciliation with God…yes or no? He is the Good Shepherd which leads us with the truth and as long as we practice His Truth or His teachings, we find rest from trial and temptations…1Co 10:12-14 ASV  Wherefore let him that thinketh he stands take heed lest he fall.  13  There hath no temptation taken you but such as man can bear: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation make also the way of escape, that ye may be able to endure it.  14  Wherefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry… Because thou didst keep the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of trial, that hour which is to come upon the whole world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Rev 3:10 ASV There will be a hour of trial of temptation every soul on earth will have to endure in the end near the final coming of Jesus.   Act 17:30-31 ASV  The times of ignorance therefore God overlooked; but now he commands men that they should all everywhere repent:  31  inasmuch as He hath appointed a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness by the man whom He hath ordained; whereof He hath given assurance unto all men, in that He hath raised Him from the dead.   Joh 3:16-17 ASV  For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten(Fathered Human) Son, that whosoever believeth on Him should not perish, but have eternal life.  17  For God sent not the Son into the world to judge the world; but that the world should be saved through Him…though He was a Son, yet learned obedience by the things which He suffered;  9  and having been made perfect, He became unto all them that obey Him the author of eternal salvation Heb 5:8-9 ASV. Jesus said Mar 16:16 ASV  He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieves (chooses to ignore the facts of Jesus dying and being raised from the dead) shall be condemned.   Do you want to be saved with rest for your soul and obey Jesus Christ of Nazareth (Acts 22:8)…yes or no? Will you be baptized for Jesus…yes or no?   Father please meet our souls deepest needs and please give us rest for our souls so we can grow and learn to be like You without falling for temptation…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen. • #Incarnation_of_Jesus

#Incarnation_of_Jesus   Introduction: 1.      What is the Bible about? How would you answer this question? It is about man’s redemption from sin, which means it is about Jesus our redeemer A person could reason that the Bible’s theme is Jesus Christ 2.      A general outline of the Bible: Old Testament point to Jesus coming, the New says Jesus came and Is coming back to take us home 3.      Jesus Christ is the very center of Christianity, obviously there can not be Christianity without Christ 4.      I want to talk about the incarnation of Jesus Christ with 3 major points: Jesus is God Jesus is Man Jesus purpose for becoming a man I.                    Jesus is God A.    The Inspired Word of God says Jesus is God 1.      The bible declares that Jesus is God a.       Rom 9:5, “whose are of the fathers and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came who is over all, God blessed forever amen” 2.      Thomas and his good confession (John 20:19-29) a.       Thomas was not with the other disciples, when Jesus showed himself to them b.      Thomas said he would not believe unless he put his fingers into the nail prints and into his side. Some because of this event call Thomas doubting Thomas. c.       Jesus came again and showed himself to Thomas, when Jesus asked Thomas to put his fingers into his nail printed hands, Thomas said My lord and My God. d.      If Jesus was just a man then he could never be called God without someone sinning. e.       Jesus accepted Thomas and his worship, so Jesus was God. Peter in Cornelius’s house would not allow a man to worship him and declared to Cornelius that he too was just a man. Jesus however is more than just a man. f.        It is idolatry to worship anything other than God himself. It is idolatry to worship the created. 3.      Jesus equated himself equal to God a.       John 10:30, Jesus said my Father and I are one. b.      No man could ever say that he and God are one 4.      John the Apostle witness concerning Jesus (John 1:1-14) a.       Jesus is inferred to be the word in verse 14 b.      In verse 2, He was with God. In verse 1, he is God c.       He created all things, John was originally a Jew and believed in one God Deut 6:4. No Jew would say that there were two God’s unless they knew Jesus was indeed God. 5.      General epistles concerning Jesus a.       Col 1:15-18, who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature for by Him were all things created that are in Heaven and that are in the earth, visible, invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, principalities, powers, all things are created by him and for him. He is before all things and by Him all things consist. He is the head of the church the firstborn from the dead that in all things he might have preeminence. b.       Heb 1:8, with the Father speaking, it says “thy throne O’ God is forever and ever a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of your kingdom” B.     The 3 in 1 Trinity 1.      Father is God a.      1 Cor 8:6, but to us there is but one God, the Father of whom are all things and we in him b.      Gal 1:1, Paul an apostle (not of men, neither by man) but by Jesus Christ and God the Father c.       Paul references the Father as being God 2.      Holy Spirit is God a.      Acts 5:1-4, b.      Anannias had predetermined to lie about how much money they were giving. Probably did this in order to receive prestige, prominence, and inflated pride c.       Peter says in vs 3, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit? You have not lied unto men but unto God. d.      Rom 8:9, “You are not in the flesh but in the Spirit if so be the Spirit of God dwells in you” 3.      Summary of the Trinity a.      Jesus is said to be God. The Father is said to be God. The Holy Spirit is said to be God b.      Scripture clearly says that anyone of them can be called God. These are inter-dependent on each other, co-equal, co-eternal and inseparable. They are united in oneness by their essence or substance or what they are made out of. You and I are both flesh, they are  God. c.       Mat 3:13-17, Jesus baptism is a picture of the Trinity. Jesus being baptized, the Spirit descending and the Father speaking II.                  Jesus was human A.      The Scripture Says He was a man 1.      John 1:14, the word was made flesh. a.      The eternal Word that had existed from the beginning, was made flesh b.      God decided to make himself flesh. Like me putting on a glove. 2.      Phil 2:5-8 a.      Jesus laid aside the glory of Heaven, so He could become a slave to the Law He ordained b.      He was God and was being worshipped in Heaven. Jesus laid aside his throne and became a servant. The Creator became the created, instead of being served He began to serve. God can never stop being God, He just laid aside His will and submitted to the predetermined will of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit that was decided before the world was formed. 3.      John 8:40 a.      Jesus said, but now you seek to kill me a man that told you the truth. b.      Jesus said he was a man 4.      Acts 2:22 a.      Ye men of Israel, hear these words Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved by God among you by miracles, signs, and wonders… b.      Peter says, the Jesus was also a man c.       We all know that Jesus was a man B.      As a Man he felt our weakness 1.      He was tempted a.      In Mat 4:1-11, Jesus was tempted by the devil. Jesus responded with the word of God b.      Jesus due to flesh was tempted, but His will, and the power of the Holy Spirit that lighted upon Him at his baptism, was stronger than the flesh c.       Heb 4:15, for we have not a high priest that can not be touched with the feelings of our infirmities, but was in all points tempted as we were yet without sin” d.      Jesus felt the pull of the flesh in the direction that leads away from God but did not succumb to it e.      Heb 2:15, in that he himself suffered temptation He is able to succor (comfort) them that are tempted. 2.      He was tired a.      When dealing with the woman in Samaria at the well, he sat down because he was tired b.      John 4:6, “Now Jacob’s well was there and Jesus being wearied from His journey sat thus on the wall” 3.      Jesus also was thirsty a.      John 19:28, Jesus was on the cross about to die and says I thirst 4.      Jesus went to sleep a.      Luke 8:23, as he sailed he fell asleep: and there came down a storm of wind on the lake b.      He woke up and rebuked the wind and the storm settled down. In this example, we see Jesus Divinity and his humanity C.      He had human emotions 1.      Sorrow a.      John 11:33-36 Raising of Lazarus 2.      Compassion a.      Mat 9:36, “but when Jesus saw the multitudes He was moved with compassion” 3.      Strong Crying a.      Heb 5:7, “who in the day of temptation offered prayers and supplications with strong tears and crying unto Him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared” b.      Jesus became a man and as such he submitted to doing the predetermined will ordained before the foundation of the world. 4.      Anger a.      John 2:13-17, Cleansing of the temple b.      In this scene of Jesus life, Jesus took a cord and threw out the moneychangers. He called it a den of thieves. c.       Then the disciples remembered that it was written the zeal of Thine house has eaten me up Ps 69:9. d.      Anger is not sin, it is an emotion. However any emotion left uncontrolled can cause a person to sin. Be angry and sin not Eph 4:26 III.                The Role of Jesus A.      Each Member of the Trinity has a role or function to perform 1.      The father a.      He plays the role of the designer or authority b.      He is the one with the plan 2.      The Son a.      He plays the role of the provider b.      He provided a way for all mankind’s needs to be met 3.      The Holy Spirit a.      The Spirit plays the role of the doer b.      He takes the plan and the provision and works it to completion B.      The Son 1.      Jesus referred to Himself as God the son of Man a.      Think about that literally. He is the God that became the son of mankind 2.      His Humanity a.      We can identify with Jesus because he became like us b.      We can see ourselves in His shoes doing what He did according to our ability c.       We all have heard of the phrase wwjd have we not? d.      Jesus also had vulnerability because of his human side. He was hungry, thirsty, sleepy, suffering in pain e.      Emotional vulnerability could also worked to undo Jesus. He was betrayed, lied about, rejected, the very people he trusted betrayed him, the people he tried to save plotted to kill him, Jesus took it all for us though, because He loves us. C.      Jesus Purpose of the incarnation 1.      Jesus put on humanity to kill sin or the works of the devil a.      1 John 3:5, and you know He was manifested to take away sin and in Him there is no sin b.      Jesus Role was to provide a way for mankind’s sin to be taken out of the picture c.       Jesus said I will become like the man that I created so I can impart my perfection and righteousness to them that believe and obey my will 2.      Jesus was sinless a.      1 Pet 2:21-24, 1Pe 2:20-25 ESV  For what credit is it if, when you sin and are beaten for it, you endure? But if when you do good and suffer for it you endure, this is a gracious thing in the sight of God.  (21)  For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps.  (22)  He committed no sin, neither was deceit found in his mouth.  (23)  When he was reviled, he did not revile in return; when he suffered, he did not threaten, but continued entrusting himself to him who judges justly.  (24)  He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.  (25)  For you were straying like sheep, but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls. b.      We are healed by the stripes that Jesus took for us on His back to save us from our punishment. c.       2 Cor 5:21, for He has made Jesus to be sin for us, who knew no sin that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him d.      We cannot be righteous by our own merits, so we trust in Jesus promises to impart that righteousness to us through faith in obeying His words. e.      Jesus role revealed to us was to pay for infinite amount of sin, and to absorb an infinite amount of wrath.   Conclusion: 1.      Jesus is God and was involved in the creation of Man and even planned to save mankind before man was ever created. Nothing was or has been done without His knowing about it. Jesus knew every detail of the life He was going to live before He chose to come down to earth and live it (Jn 1:1-18, Col 1:15-18, Eph 1:1-8) 2.      God can never stop being God, Jesus simply decided before He became a man what He was going to do and then when He became a man submitted to the predetermined will He and the rest of the God head had decided to do before the creation of the world. 3.      Jesus was fully human, he felt human emotions, human limitations, human temptations, but was still fully God just did not use His Godhood but relied upon the God Holy Spirit to do the miracles and inspire Him to teach the will of the Father. 4.      The Holy Spirit was the reason for His inspiration and the miracles. Listen: John 6:28-29, “then they said unto Him, what shall we do that we might work the works of God? Jesus answered and said unto them, this is the work of God that you believe on him whom he has sent”. The miracles were never the point but the pointer, that pointed to Jesus being the savior of mankind to all those that believe and obey His New Agreement between God and Mankind the New Testament of Christ, which He is the only Mediator of.   Father please help us be suitable for salvation…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.   Try…A…Pause for Prayer and Devotional a Wellsaid Christian Devotional about the teachings of Jesus… https://www.anopenbiblestudy.com/blog-by-ben-the-friend   #benjaminbrianstewart #Love #Christianity #Faith #Bible #Jesus #Prayer #Art #ChristianLife #Gospel #ChristianInspiration #Salvation #ChristianCommunity #love #instagood #photoftheday #beautiful #happy #new #sports #entertainment #technology #business #fashion #health #travel #food #music #art #photography

  • Jesus is the Mediator of better promises...better agreement...

Jesus is the Mediator of a New Agreement between God and creation… 1Ti 2:3-6 This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior;  4  who would have all men to be saved, and come to the knowledge of the truth.  5  For there is one God, one mediator also between God and men, himself man, Christ Jesus,  6  who gave himself a ransom for all; the testimony to be borne in its own times; 1Co 15:1-4 ASV  Now I make known unto you brethren, the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye received, wherein also ye stand,  2  by which also ye are saved, if ye hold fast the word which I preached unto you, except ye believed in vain.  3  For I delivered unto you first of all that which also I received: that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;  4  and that he was buried; and that he hath been raised on the third day according to the scriptures;… Eph 2:14-15 ASV  For he is our peace, who made both one, and brake down the middle wall of partition,  15  having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; that he might create in himself of the two one new man, so making peace…Col 2:11-15 ASV  in whom ye were also circumcised with a circumcision not made with hands, in the putting off of the body of the flesh, in the circumcision of Christ;  12  having been buried with him in baptism, wherein ye were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.  13  And you, being dead through your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, you, I say, did he make alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses;  14  having blotted out the bond written in ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us: and he hath taken it out of the way, nailing it to the cross;  15  having despoiled the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it…But now hath he obtained a ministry the more excellent, by so much as he is also the mediator of a better covenant, which hath been enacted upon better promises.  7  For if that first covenant had been faultless, then would no place have been sought for a second. Heb 8:6-7 ASV    The Old Covenant had a promise I will never leave you nor forsake you… Deu 31:6 ASV  Be strong and of good courage, fear not, nor be affrighted at them: for Jehovah thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee… New Covenant Promise…Heb 13:5 ASV  Be ye free from the love of money; content with such things as ye have: for himself hath said, I will in no wise fail thee, neither will I in any wise forsake thee. The Jews were never forsaken by God but God always used the faithful…Jesus will not leave us or forsake us even more than the Jews unto eternal life…and promises we will never hunger or thirst… Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall not hunger, and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. Joh 6:35 ASV …better promises   Old Testament Promise…No weapon fashioned against us shall prosper… Isa 54:17 ASV  No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of Jehovah, and their righteousness which is of me, saith Jehovah. New Covenant…Better promise… Eph 6:16 ASV  withal taking up the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one.   Old Testament promise…Mount up with wings like eagles…and not grow weary… Isa 40:31 ASV  but they that wait for Jehovah shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk, and not faint. New Covenant promise…2Co 4:16 ASV  Wherefore we faint not; but though our outward man is decaying, yet our inward man is renewed day by day…I can do all things in him that strengthens me. • To stop reaping bad fruits, stay out of Satan’s orchard.

To stop reaping bad fruits, stay out of Satan’s orchard. 1Co 15:33 Do not be deceived; evil companionship corrupts good behavior…Now we know that the law is good, if anyone uses it lawfully, 9 Understanding this: that law is not enacted for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and sinful, for the unholy and profane, for slayers of fathers and slayers of mothers, for murderers, 10 For fornicators, for homosexuals, for kidnappers, for liars, for perjurers, and for any other thing that is opposed to sound doctrine…1Ti 1:8-10 Act 17:27-31, In order that they might seek the Lord, if perhaps they might feel after Him and might find Him; though truly, He is not far from each one of us, 28 For in Him we live and move and have our being; as some of the poets among you also have said, 'For we are His offspring.' 29 Therefore, since we are the offspring of God, we should not think that the Godhead is like that which is made of gold, or silver, or stone—a graven thing of art devised by the imagination of man; 30 For although God has indeed overlooked the times of this ignorance, He now commands all men everywhere to repent, 31 Because He has set a day in which He will judge the world in righteousness by a Man Whom He has appointed, having given proof to all by raising Him from the dead….For in the first place, I delivered to you what I also had received: that Christ died for our sins, according to the Scriptures; 4 And that He was buried; and that He was raised the third day, according to the Scriptures; 5 And that He appeared to Cephas, and then to the twelve. 1Co 15:3-5. Mar 16:14-20 Afterwards, as they were sitting to eat, He appeared to the eleven and reproached them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen. 15 And He said to them, Go into all the world and preach the gospel to the whole creation. 16 The one who believes and is baptized shall be saved, but the one who does not believe shall be condemned. 17 And these signs shall follow those who believe: in My name they shall cast out demons; they shall speak with new languages; 18 They shall remove serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them in any way; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. 19 After speaking to them, the Lord was indeed then taken up into heaven, and He sat down at the right hand of God. 20 And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the Word by the signs that followed. Amen. Col 3:12-17, Put on then, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, deep inner affections (compassion), kindness, humility, meekness (obedience) and longsuffering (patience); 13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so also you should forgive. 14 And above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. 15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which you were called into one body, and be thankful. 16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. 17 And in everything—whatever you do in word or in deed—do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by Him… if you want to stop reaping bad fruits, stay out of Satan’s orchard. Father please meet our soul’s deepest needs, our flesh’s deepest needs, and our spirit’s deepest needs so we may not offend or sin against You in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen. • What does Jesus say about hell or eternal punishment…

What does Jesus say about hell or eternal punishment… Jesus tells a parable about the torments of hell… Luk 16:19-31 KJV  There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:  20  And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,  21  And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.  22  And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;  23  And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and sees Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.  24  And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.  25  But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime received thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.  26  And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.  27  Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou would send him to my father's house:  28  For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.  29  Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.  30  And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.  31  And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead. We learn people in Hell’s torments are conscience…they are present…and they are being punished eternally with no escape.   Jesus also said… Luk 12:5 KJV  But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him. Jesus said to fear the One who can cast you into Hell after he has died…Jesus after he hath killed…then would send you to hell for punishment.   Mar 9:43-44 KJV  And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:  44  Where their worm dies not, and the fire is not quenched. Jesus said because of sin…people will be cast into hell and tormented with fire unquenchable.   Mat 10:28 KJV  And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. Jesus said fear Him who could destroy both soul and body in hell. God can send people straight to hell and not just their soul but their bodies too. Mat 25:46 KJV  And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. Jesus taught Hell is eternal and is everlasting punishment…punishment in fire which will never end.   After reading these passages I find what is written which was spoken of by Jesus when He was here on earth…We learn from the Jesus’s parable people in Hell’s torments are conscience…they are present…and they are being punished eternally with no escape… Jesus said to fear the One who can cast you into Hell after he has made you die…Jesus said after He hath killed…then would send you to hell for punishment… Jesus said because of sin…people will be cast into hell and tormented with fire unquenchable… Jesus said fear Him who could destroy both soul and body in hell. God can send people straight to hell and not just their soul but their bodies too… Jesus taught Hell is eternal and is everlasting punishment…punishment in fire which will never end.   So Jesus taught…Hell is real…is eternal…with fire which cannot be quenched…people are conscience and know they are being punished…God can kill you and send you to Hell for any one sin…Hell is not where you want to end up! Choice, not chance, determines destiny.   Father please confirm this truth to us and help us to fear You and Your punishment in Hell…please grant us repentance so we can change and do right by You in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.   Try…A…Pause for Prayer and Devotional a Wellsaid Christian Devotional about the teachings of Jesus… https://www.anopenbiblestudy.com/blog-by-ben-the-friend   #benjaminbrianstewart #Love #Christianity #Faith #Bible #Jesus #Prayer #Art #ChristianLife #Gospel #ChristianInspiration #Salvation #ChristianCommunity #love #instagood #photoftheday #beautiful #happy #new #sports #entertainment #technology #business #fashion #health #travel #food #music #art #photography

  • Are you hated…do you hate…

Are you hated…do you hate…you should...Jesus said hate everyone that is not Him…I am not racist…I hate everyone who is not Jesus…just like He said…wishing evil did not exist in other souls…   Pro 6:16-19 KJV  These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:  17  A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,  18  An heart that devises wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,  19  A false witness that speaks lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren. Zec 8:17 KJV  And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbor; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith the LORD. Luk 14:25-27 KJV  And there went great multitudes with him: and he turned, and said unto them,  26  If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.  27  And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.   A proud look…as in a self-made man…if you ever been in some type of battle…then you know the battle belongs to the Lord…a proud look trust in self not his Creator…if you trust in your training then know the training is from God. A Lying tongue…no lie is of the truth…no one trusts a liar…you want to be a man of integrity then lie not. No Shedding of innocent blood…keep the harmless harmless…the innocent innocent…put down the evil threats against the innocent and harmless…many law officers are in this realm…putting down the evil doer so kids can pray and follow Jesus in safety. A heart which devises wickedness…you ever scheme a plot…scheme a wicked invention…these are not pleasing to God… Feet swift to mischief…ever seen a guy willing to do the dirty…always…this type of person is usually full of trouble of others and self…we should be willing to do right not wrong. A false witness…no soul should be known as information false…who can trust a lie? Or a liar? One who sows discord among brethren…many in debates are failing to sow unity…you should never split a congregation…but find a congregation or worship at home until unity can be sought and achieved. Imagining wickedness against your neighbor…remember to the Jews which heard this their neighbor was family or cousins or descendants of Abraham…   Rom 12:9 ASV  Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good…Rom 12:9 ASV  Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good…1Co 13:13 ASV  But now abides faith, hope, love, these three; and the greatest of these is love…Rom 12:21 ASV  Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good…Joh 14:15 ASV  If ye love me, ye will keep my commandments.   Joh 3:16-17 ASV  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life.  17  For God sent not the Son into the world to judge the world; but that the world should be saved through him…though He was a Son, yet learned obedience by the things which He suffered;  9  and having been made perfect, He became unto all them that obey Him the author of eternal salvation; Heb 5:8-9 ASV   Jesus died and was raised from the dead so you could never do a wrong thing again…and will forgive you of your deeds done wrong…He will teach you the truth but you have to do what is right by your Creator…Jesus will never lie to you or ask you to do a wrong thing…Jesus will only ask you to do what is right…Jesus said you got to hate anything which would cause you to offend Him the Good Shepherd…you got to have ears only for Jesus will…you have to hate even your own self will…but I have learned when you do what Jesus said…you learn to love the good things He teaches you and you become a little more like Him and less like yourself…we develop a godly character…   Mat 11:27-30 ASV  All things have been delivered unto Me of my Father: and no one knows the Son, save the Father; neither doth any know the Father, save the Son, and He to whomsoever the Son wills to reveal Him.  28  Come unto Me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  29  Take my yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.  30  For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light… Jesus therefore said to those Jews that had believed him, If ye abide in my word, then are ye truly my disciples;  32  and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Joh 8:31-32.   2Ti 2:15 ASV  Give diligence to present thyself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, handling aright the word of truth.   Father help us to have a good character which does not offend you…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.   Try…A…Pause for Prayer and Devotional a Wellsaid Christian Devotional about the teachings of Jesus… https://www.anopenbiblestudy.com/blog-by-ben-the-friend   #benjaminbrianstewart #Love #Christianity #Faith #Bible #Jesus #Prayer #Art #ChristianLife #Gospel #ChristianInspiration #Salvation #ChristianCommunity #love #instagood #photoftheday #beautiful #happy #new #sports #entertainment #technology #business #fashion #health #travel #food #music #art #photography

  • Keeping your vow to God is most important…Have you kept your word to God…yes or no?

Keeping your word to God is most important…Have you kept your word to God…yes or no?   Have you kept your word like Jeptha…yes or no? Jdg 11:30-40 KJV  And Jephthah vowed a vow unto the LORD, and said, If thou shalt without fail deliver the children of Ammon into mine hands,  31  Then it shall be, that whatsoever cometh forth of the doors of my house to meet me, when I return in peace from the children of Ammon, shall surely be the LORD'S, and I will offer it up for a burnt offering.  32  So Jephthah passed over unto the children of Ammon to fight against them; and the LORD delivered them into his hands.  33  And he smote them from Aroer, even till thou come to Minnith, even twenty cities, and unto the plain of the vineyards, with a very great slaughter. Thus the children of Ammon were subdued before the children of Israel.  34  And Jephthah came to Mizpeh unto his house, and, behold, his daughter came out to meet him with timbrels and with dances: and she was his only child; beside her he had neither son nor daughter.  35  And it came to pass, when he saw her, that he rent his clothes, and said, Alas, my daughter! thou hast brought me very low, and thou art one of them that trouble me: for I have opened my mouth unto the LORD, and I cannot go back.  36  And she said unto him, My father, if thou hast opened thy mouth unto the LORD, do to me according to that which hath proceeded out of thy mouth; forasmuch as the LORD hath taken vengeance for thee of thine enemies, even of the children of Ammon.  37  And she said unto her father, Let this thing be done for me: let me alone two months, that I may go up and down upon the mountains, and bewail my virginity, I and my fellows.  38  And he said, Go. And he sent her away for two months: and she went with her companions, and bewailed her virginity upon the mountains.  39  And it came to pass at the end of two months, that she returned unto her father, who did with her according to his vow which he had vowed: and she knew no man. And it was a custom in Israel,  40  That the daughters of Israel went yearly to lament the daughter of Jephthah the Gileadite four days in a year.   Jephtha vowed a vow and his daughter when she heard what it was…realized it was her death…then she accepted the fate of the vow she did not make…she made herself a willing sacrifice for God and His glory…when you make a vow to God and God gives His part…then it is life or death to keep the vow…it is better to make no vows than to make a vow…make your promises few but keep them faithful…a vow is you and God…never break a vow…as King David said… In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honors them that fear the LORD. He that  swears to his own  hurt, and changes not…listen Jesus said it is better to not take a vow or make a promise but be the type who is known for his yes is yes and his no is no…you can always say no then change your mind or you can always say yes then change your mind…but you cannot change a vow it must be kept at all cost…listen to what Jesus said…   Jesus said make no oaths but be the character your yes is yes and your no is no… Mat 5:33-37 KJV  Again, ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths:  34  But I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by heaven; for it is God's throne:  35  Nor by the earth; for it is his footstool: neither by Jerusalem; for it is the city of the great King.  36  Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, because thou canst not make one hair white or black.  37  But let your communication be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil…   Jesus took an oath before God when on trial…it is not wrong to make a statement affirming God as your witness… Mat 26:63-68 KJV  But Jesus held his peace. And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God.  64  Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.  65  Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, He hath spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses? behold, now ye have heard his blasphemy.  66  What think ye? They answered and said, He is guilty of death.  67  Then did they spit in his face, and buffeted him; and others smote him with the palms of their hands,  68  Saying, Prophesy unto us, thou Christ, Who is he that smote thee?   We are not to forbid marriage when people have already said vows… 1Ti 4:1-3 KJV  Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;  2  Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;  3  Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth… What is written…it is a doctrine of a devil to forbid marriage…if vows have been said then we can do nothing but leave it a conscience matter…I had a guy in my congregation said he was married and it was not his first but had said vows…I did not pry…but put the weight of the matter on him and his wife…saying you are welcome and if your willing to burn in hell by lying about a vow…and marriage that’s up to you…I will not pry and accept your word before the whole congregation I said it…the congregation understood they could be lying but were warned they would be cast into hell if they were…that family became one productive member… we cannot ask people to break their vows…how many adulteries have been committed with no proof…adultery is committed in secret?   Vows should never be broken…have you kept your word to God today…yes or no? Have you told the truth today…yes or no?   Father help us remember and keep our vows before You without blame…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.   Try…A…Pause for Prayer and Devotional a Wellsaid Christian Devotional about the teachings of Jesus… https://www.anopenbiblestudy.com/blog-by-ben-the-friend   #benjaminbrianstewart #Love #Christianity #Faith #Bible #Jesus #Prayer #Art #ChristianLife #Gospel #ChristianInspiration #Salvation #ChristianCommunity #love #instagood #photoftheday #beautiful #happy #new #sports #entertainment #technology #business #fashion #health #travel #food #music #art #photography

  • Simplicity of Christ…is wisdom unto salvation…

Simplicity of Christ…is wisdom unto salvation… 2Co 11:3-4 KJV  But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.  4  For if he that cometh preaches another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him…   The first Christians were warned back in the 1st century…about people who preach a fake Jesus (same name different message) and give out a fake spirit (supernatural is not Holy)…saying we may tolerate these kind of people…   So what is the original pattern of becoming a Christian with the Holy Spirit?   The original message of the cross… 1Co 15:1-4 KJV  Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;  2  By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.  3  For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;  4  And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures…   The first message of salvation preached in the name of Jesus Christ for salvation…resulting in the promise of the Holy Spirit…the original pattern…what the first people were told to do in order to be forgiven and receive the Holy Spirit of promise… Act 2:36-39 KJV  Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.  37  Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?  38  Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.  39  For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call…   So have you found the original pattern of what the first sinners who were converted were told…after they confessed to crucifying Jesus…repent or surrender all to Jesus and be baptized for the remission of sins and you will receive the Holy Spirit…   The message of the cross… Jesus was born under the Jewish Covenant with God and being born in the tribe of Judah…had to only never break one of the Ten Commandments in order to be considered Holy or without sin…and Jesus being born perfect…The Holy Spirit overshadowing the virgin Mary to supply the man’s part of a baby being created…Jesus was born perfect…being Fathered by our Creator so that no man could say they were greater…Jesus was born of a virgin…Jesus never choose to break one of the Ten Commandments and offered His life as a substitute for those who have sinned against God…Jesus was punished as if He broke all Ten Commandments in order for Him to make a way for you and I to be forgiven…He died on the cross and was raised from the dead three days later as proof His offer of peace and reconciliation with God is true…   Joh 3:16-17 KJV  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  17  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved… Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;  9  And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; Heb 5:8-9…   Our Creator being the Father of mercies…willing to forgive when the first lie was told being the Father of mercies…then Sent His Only Human Son into the world to save the world not condemn it…and Jesus is the Author of Salvation who will write you a plan of salvation…reconciliation and redemption from your past ways of living…will you ask the Author of Salvation… Jesus to write you a plan and purpose in His kingdom for salvation? Yes or no? Do you believe Jesus died on the cross and was raised from the dead…yes or no?     Jesus said… Mat 5:6 KJV  Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled… do you want to be right with God and fellowman…yes or no?     Jesus said… Joh 3:5 KJV  Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God…He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned… Mar 16:16 KJV    Have you ever been baptized to obey Jesus…yes or no? Will you be baptized like the first sinners which heard the first saving message of Jesus…yes or no?   Will you agree to read the New Testament of Christ…yes or no? Listen to what Jesus said to those in His day which still applies to the seeking heart… Joh 8:31-32 KJV  Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;  32  And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free…All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knows the Son, but the Father; neither knows any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.  28  Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  29  Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.  30  For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light…Mat 11:27-30 KJV.   Do you want a light and easy yoke in life so you can have rest for your souls…yes or no? If you agree to learn of Jesus He will free you up so all you have to do is practice the truth in order to be free of doubt and lies…Jesus will never lie to you…Jesus will confirm or reveal the truth to you so you will not live in doubt and lies…Jesus will give you a light and easy yoke…but you have to follow the truth and do what is right by God and creation…sound like good news…yes or no?   Joh 6:35 KJV  And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst… Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?  31  Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?  32  (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knows that ye have need of all these things.  33  But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.  34  Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof Mat 6:30-34 KJV…Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled Mat 5:6 KJV.   Father please help us not to follow a fake Jesus or to be deceived into obeying a seducing spirit…please reveal the truth to us so we can reconcile with you and others in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.

  • What is sin? According to the New Agreement between God and creation…

What is sin according to the New Agreement between God and creation…   1Jn 3:4 KJV  Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. What is a law from God…a direct command…sin is a command broken found in the New Testament. The two greatest Laws are as Jesus said…Mar 12:29-31 KJV  And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:  30  And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.  31  And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.   1Jn 5:17 KJV  All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death. Anything you consider to not right…if it is wrong by God or fellow man then it is sin…Jesus said…Mat 5:6 KJV  Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled…it is always wrong to do wrong and right to do right.   Rom 14:23 KJV  And he that doubts is damned if he eats, because he eats not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin. If you do not believe it is allowable by faith then it is sin, or breaks your conscience towards God thus offending Him…if you think God does not want this…then do it anyway…you have offended God, unless you can believe it is God’s will then you best not do it. Jesus said we can know the truth and the truth sets us free from doubt and lies by reading His word we develop godly character like His thus not offending Him…Joh 8:31-32 KJV  Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;  32  And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.   Jas 4:17 KJV  Therefore to him that knows to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin. The parable of the good Samaritan or the good neighbor…who was the one without sin…the Levite…the Priest…anyone else…or Just the Samaritan who fulfilled God’s will and helped a helpless man with the means God had provided? Jesus said…Mat 12:49-50 KJV  And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!  50  For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.   Remember your conscience is only a guide that must yield to the word of God. In other words if you think it wrong and God says it right then you have to yield judgement according to the word of God. Do not make personal judgements unless you be held to the same judgement. If you condemn someone for drinking wine… did you not condemned Jesus too, thus denying your Lord? Although wine is allowable…it is your personal preference to have no drink of wine. Jesus had to practice the minimum requirements of the Old Testament and fulfill the righteous  demands of the Law having never broken one of the Ten Commandments. Jesus exceeded the demands of law but drank wine because the drinking of wine was very common in His day…in order to present God’s love as approachable…God…Jesus did not walk around saying I am Holy bow down and worship me…instead He became us so we could see God as approachable…He drank wine to convert sinners not to get drunk…be careful how you judge even Jesus said…Mat 7:1-5 KJV  Judge not, that ye be not judged.  2  For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.  3  And why behold thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but consider not the beam that is in thine own eye?  4  Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?  5  Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.   Father please create what we need to have a godly character which chooses not to sin against you in our hearts, minds, souls, spirits and with our strength…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.   Try…A…Pause for Prayer and Devotional a Wellsaid Christian Devotional about the teachings of Jesus… https://www.anopenbiblestudy.com/blog-by-ben-the-friend   #benjaminbrianstewart #Love #Christianity #Faith #Bible #Jesus #Prayer #Art #ChristianLife #Gospel #ChristianInspiration #Salvation #ChristianCommunity #love #instagood #photoftheday #beautiful #happy #new #sports #entertainment #technology #business #fashion #health #travel #food #music #art #photography

  • Do you worry? Worry is the darkroom where negatives are developed…

Do you worry…then listen… The devil would have you live in the future or the past instead of the now present moment…You ever notice when you worry about the future…you think about today what could happen tomorrow…then on the next the day…you think it will happen…then it does or does not…by worrying about the future you experience anxiety the day before…the day of…then afterwards wonder if you could improve? By worrying and not trusting our Good Shepherd…you create doubt and fear…listen to what Jesus said…   Mat 6:25-34 ASV  Therefore I say unto you, Be not anxious for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than the food, and the body than the raiment? 26  Behold the birds of the heaven, that they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; and your heavenly Father feeds them. Are not ye of much more value than they?   27  And which of you by being anxious can add one cubit unto the measure of his life?  28  And why are ye anxious concerning raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:  29  yet I say unto you, that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.   30  But if God doth so clothe the grass of the field, which to-day is, and to-morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?     Jesus asks three questions and summarizes with this final question…31  Be not therefore anxious, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?   32  For after all these things do the Gentiles seek; for your heavenly Father knows that ye have need of all these things.  33  But seek ye first his kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.  34  Be not therefore anxious for the morrow: for the morrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.     Jesus said the cure to worry…is to seek first His Kingdom and righteousness (right doing) and we will have all we need today…Jesus also said…Mat 5:6 ESV  Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied…Do you want to be right with God and fellow man? Yes or no…If you seek first God and His Kingdom…then Jesus said you will have what you need…so seek first today the kingdom of God and do what is right by God and fellow creation.     Listen to instructions given to Christian in the New Testament of Christ…which is the new agreement between God and creation… As it is written…Php 4:6-7 ASV  In nothing be anxious; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.  7  And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus… Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time;  7  casting all your anxiety upon him, because he cares for you.  8  Be sober, be watchful: your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour 1Pe 5:6-8 ASV…1Jn 5:14-15 ASV  And this is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he heareth us:  15  and if we know that he heareth us whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.     So are you full of worry about the past…worrying today about what you cannot change in the past? Rather…learn from yesterday because you cannot change the past…Are you worried about tomorrow today? Trying to change tomorrow today? Rather…will you seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness by doing what is right by God and creation today? Yes or no?     Father please help us be faithful today and supply our daily bread of life as we change and seek Your kingdom and righteousness…In Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.   Try…A…Pause for Prayer and Devotional a Wellsaid Christian Devotional about the teachings of Jesus… https://www.anopenbiblestudy.com/blog-by-ben-the-friend   #benjaminbrianstewart #Love #Christianity #Faith #Bible #Jesus #Prayer #Art #ChristianLife #Gospel #ChristianInspiration #Salvation #ChristianCommunity #love #instagood #photoftheday #beautiful #happy #new #sports #entertainment #technology #business #fashion #health #travel #food #music #art #photography

  • Baptism is a submissive act...not a work…

Baptism is a submissive act...not a work… I have a questions for my evangelical friends...How can you condemn baptism as essential for salvation...when you have never been baptized in full surrender to the obedience of Jesus...how can you condemn it if you never done it? After all did Jesus say...He that believes and is baptized will be saved? Yes or no? Mar 16:16 KJV He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.   Baptism is where God cleanses you in full surrender to obedience of Jesus Christ. It is where you become a New Creature (2 Cor 5:7) being born of the water and the Spirit (John 3:5) it is how we are added into Christ (Gal 3:27) it where our sins go into remission (Acts 2:38-39)...it is where we can receive the promise of the Holy Spirit to any whom God calls (Eph 1:13-14)...it by being or allowing God to wash and regenerate you...it is not something you are doing it is a work of God cleansing you...besides the work of your lips is a prayer if you still do not accept baptism as essential for salvation ( 1 Pet 3:20-21)...Christians have to have the witness of the Blood, of the Spirit, and of the water (1 John 5:8). When Jesus was on the earth He said you could get the Spirit by asking the Father (Luke 11:13), if you find Jesus forgiveness then you have the blood (Mat 26:28) but there is only one way to get the water (Baptism Mark 16:16; John 3:3-5). So you can have the Holy Spirit without baptism...you can find Jesus blood without baptism, but you cannot get the water without baptism. Baptism is a work of God where the sinner is surrendering His life to Jesus and God cleans and regenerates us with the Holy Spirit (Col 2:12).   Jesus who was also baptized for the remission of sins by John the Baptist (Mark 1:4)...Jesus needed no repentance or forgiveness but obeyed John's command...repent and be baptized for the remission of sin? If you have never tried Jesus words in faithful obedience then how do you know you are right? Even Jesus obeyed John's message when He needed no repentance...You were changed the day you understood there was God and Jesus made a way so you could never choose wrong again...and a way for you to be forgiven...Jesus said blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness for they will be filled...Jesus will reveal the truth to anyone...and this changes people behavior causing rejoicing (Luke 15:10)...if you think discovering the truth is great imagine how much better baptism will be?   Do you not believe God forgives those who repent or forsake evil? Those who repent when they hear the truth find God's forgiveness not salvation...they have to continue to obey Jesus unto full surrender in baptism where we are given the Holy Spirit as a seal of redemption (Eph 1:13-14; Mark 16:16; John 3:3-5; Gal 3:27; Acts 2:38-39)   Father please confirm this truth to those who hear in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.   Try…A…Pause for Prayer and Devotional a Wellsaid Christian Devotional about the teachings of Jesus… https://www.anopenbiblestudy.com/blog-by-ben-the-friend   #benjaminbrianstewart #Love #Christianity #Faith #Bible #Jesus #Prayer #Art #ChristianLife #Gospel #ChristianInspiration #Salvation #ChristianCommunity #love #instagood #photoftheday #beautiful #happy #new #sports #entertainment #technology #business #fashion #health #travel #food #music #art #photography
