Now thanks be unto God, which always causes us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour (saving influence) of his knowledge by us in every place…I exhort (encourage)  therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men… And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him...In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you....2 Corinthians 2:14...1 Timothy 2:1...Colossians 3:17...1 Thessalonians 5:18

What does a man have he did not receive…did you choose your birth? Did you choose your parents? We did not determine when we were born…either our parents modest poor or rich…we did not choose our raising…but we did choose Jesus when we were baptized, Who is the greatest dad a person can have. Do you want to be adopted into the family of God and have Jesus as the Good Shepherd overseeing your soul…yes or no? Then you must believe Jesus died and was raised from the dead and then be baptized for the remission of your sins and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Will you be baptized into Christ…yes or no? Jesus said after His resurrection… He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned...Mark 16:16.

Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep...John 10:7-11. But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God...John 1:12-13. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself bears witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God...Romans 8:15-16.

Prayer

Father thank you for adopting me and all those who have been baptized into Christ…thank you for all the things you have given us known and unknown and please forgive us and meet our soul’s deepest needs for gratitude…for being adopted into your family…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.

Is Jesus your ride or die?

And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's (good news), the same shall save it…Mark 8:34-35…

…Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passes away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abides forever...1 John 2:15-17.

…be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life...Revelation 2:10.

I don’t know about you but a free trip to heaven sounds really good but Jesus has to be your ride or die. When I was baptized into Jesus’ death burial and resurrection, I was willing to die right there and go to heaven, I even let out my air. I still wake up with the attitude of a ride or die for Jesus. I am prepared to say I believe in Jesus with at the face of death…if they pull the trigger then we will be seeing Jesus in Heaven or Jesus will protect us…Is Jesus your ride or die?

Are you willing to forsake all that is in this world…the lust of the flesh…the lust of the eyes…the pride in life and follow Jesus even in the face of death…yes or no?

Have you been baptized…yes or no? Will you be baptized…yes or no?

Prayer

Father please forgive our sins and help us be fully converted to Your Son and the Kingdom of God so we will not love this world but be willing to die for our faith in Jesus and waiver not…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.

You cannot have religion without God’s word…how will you relate to God without the Holy Bible?

But what think ye? A man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to-day in the vineyard. And he answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented himself, and went. And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not. Which of the two did the will of his father? They say, The first. Jesus saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, that the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you. For John (the Baptist) came unto you in the way of righteousness, and ye believed him not; but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and ye, when ye saw it, did not even repent yourselves afterward, that ye might believe him...Matthew 21:28-32

The religion authorities did not believe John the Baptist and many of the leaders were in need of change. Even today many religious leaders teach false ideas…for example many teach you do not have to be baptized…but Jesus said He that believes and is baptized will be saved…have you been baptized…yes or no? Are you faithfully obeying Jesus teaching to reflect your baptism into Jesus’ death burial and resurrection…yes or no? Will you be baptized for the remission of your sins and receive the Holy Spirit of promise…yes or no?

And Peter said unto them, Repent ye, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For to you is the promise, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call unto him...Acts 2:38-39
