A big oak tree is just a little nut that held its ground…

Are you faithful with the truth…do you behave properly when the truth is revealed to you…the best any soul can do is what is right when he learns the truth…

Ask yourself do you have any of these in your life…

Gal 5:16-21 ASV But I say, Walk by the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are contrary the one to the other; that ye may not do the things that ye would. 18 But if ye are led by the Spirit, ye are not under the law. 19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these: fornication (no sex outside of marriage), uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, enmities (hostilities), strife, jealousies, wraths, factions, divisions, parties, 21 envyings, drunkenness, revellings, and such like; of which I forewarn you, even as I did forewarn you, that they who practice such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God

Forsake the works of flesh…do you have any of these Christian fruits…

Gal 5:22-25 ASV But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 meekness, self-control; against such there is no law. 24 And they that are of Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with the passions and the lusts thereof. 25 If we live by the Spirit, by the Spirit let us also walk.

Do you persecute Christians…

Act 22:8 ASV And I answered, Who art thou, Lord? And he said unto me, I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom thou persecute.

Mat 7:1-6 ASV Judge not, that ye be not judged. 2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured unto you. 3 And why behold thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considers not the beam that is in thine own eye? 4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me cast out the mote out of thine eye; and lo, the beam is in thine own eye? 5 Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye. 6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast your pearls before the swine, lest haply they trample them under their feet, and turn and rend you.

Mat 6:8-15 ASV Be not therefore like unto them: for your Father knows what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. 9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so on earth. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. 13 And bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. 14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

1Jn 5:1-5 ASV Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is begotten(Father) of God: and whosoever loves Him that begat loves him also that is begotten of Him. 2 Hereby we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and do his commandments. 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. 4 For whatsoever is begotten of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that hath overcome the world, even our faith. 5 And who is he that overcomes the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

Father…please help me overcome any forms of trial and temptation and reveal to me the Truth needed to change and be right with You and Your Only Holy Son…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.

Waiting on the Lord…

Isa 40:31 AFV But those who wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.

We have greater promises found in the New agreement between God and creation in the New Testament (covenant, agreement) of Christ listen…

Heb 8:6-7 AFV But on the other hand, He (Jesus the Christ) has obtained a supremely more excellent ministry, as much greater as the superior covenant of which He is also Mediator, which was established upon superior promises. 7 For if the first covenant had been faultless, then no provision for a second covenant would have been made.

Mar 13:32-37 AFV But concerning that day and the hour, no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only. 33 Take heed, be watching and praying. For you do not know when the time is coming. 34 It is like a man journeying to a far country, leaving his house and giving authority to his servants, and to each one his work, and commanding the doorkeeper to watch. 35 Be watching, therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming: at evening, or at midnight, or at the cock's crowing, or in the morning; 36 Lest he come suddenly and find you sleeping. 37 And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!"

2Th 1:7-10 AFV And to you, who are persecuted, rest with us, at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with His mighty angels, 8 Dealing out vengeance with flaming fire upon those who do not know God, and those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ; 9 Who will suffer the penalty of eternal destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of His strength, 10 When He shall come to be glorified in His saints, and to be admired in that day in all those who believe (because our testimony was believed by you);

Heb 5:8-9 AFV Although He was a Son, yet He learned obedience from the things that He suffered; 9 And having been perfected, He became the Author of eternal salvation to all those who obey Him…

Mar 12:30-31 AFV And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.' This is the first commandment. 31 And the second is like this: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these."

Father please meet our soul’s deepest needs, heal our soul’s deepest wounds, and forgive the unforgiven when we deserve it the least and above all help us to be faithful this day…please cover the faithful in grace, mercy, peace, joy, and love in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.
