Want to be harmless as a dove…
Matthew 10:16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
…a snake waits for the right opportunity to strike to take its prey…we have to wise in waiting to strike with the message of salvation from Jesus…harmless…blessing our enemies with the truth so their soul’s deepest needs for Jesus can be met…
Jesus said to love your neighbor as yourself…remember Christians…our job is to get them in heaven not into things…do what is best for your neighbor’s soul this is highest aim among men…
John 8:31-32 Jesus therefore said to those Jews that had believed him, If ye abide in my word, then are ye truly my disciples; 32 and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
Jesus said He will reveal the truth needed for your needs…all you have to do is what is right by God and fellowman…Jesus said…blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness…and who ever believes in Him…Jesus will never hunger and will never thirst…Do you want to know the truth in order to be able to do what is morally right with The Creator and your fellow man? Jesus is the Truth…the source of all Truth…He will reveal the truth if you ask to do right…by Him and your fellow man…
Jesus says you shall not steal…this means if you are faithful with the truth…you will have enough and will not have to steal…Jesus says you shall not covet…or want someone else’s stuff or spouse…this means He will create you or give you your very own…He always provides a way not to do a wrong thing…He will never lie to you…never ask you to do a wring thing…and will reveal the truth so you can be right with God and your other neighbors…
Luke 11:9-13 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. 10 For every one that asks receives; and he that seeks finds; and to him that knocks it shall be opened. 11 And of which of you that is a father shall his son ask a loaf, and he give him a stone? or a fish, and he for a fish give him a serpent? 12 Or if he shall ask an egg, will he give him a scorpion? 13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
Matthew 18:3-4 and said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye turn, and become as little children, ye shall in no wise enter into the kingdom of heaven. 4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
John 3:3-5 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except one be born anew, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter a second time into his mother's womb, and be born? 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except one be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
1 John 5:8 For there are three who bear witness, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and the three agree in one.
Father please remove anything created that hinders us from doing what is right by you and fellow man…please equip and empower us to never do a wrong thing again…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.
