Has your decision already been made?

Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works. Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom...Matthew 16:24-28

If any man shall seek Jesus…let him deny himself…Jesus’ will has to be first…take up his own cross…the burden of becoming a Christian…and follow Jesus.

Jesus is saying do not love this world…for He said whosoever shall save his life will lose it and whosoever shall lose his life for my sake shall find it. Have you ever denied being a Christian…even at the face of death…yes or no? I woke up prepared to die for Jesus and the gospel…we must never deny being a Christian even with a gun pointed at our heads. Our decision has already been made when we were baptized into Christ’s death burial and resurrection.

What is a man profited if he gains the whole world and loses his soul. If you avoid death then by denying Jesus…you would live physically but you would lose your relationship with Jesus…how would you ever overcome the fear of death again? If one denies Jesus then they love this physical world more than Jesus Kingdom…How would such a person fare on Judgement Day?

Many of the Apostles and many others never denied Jesus…after His resurrection and were killed for their faith in Jesus and for preaching the good news…Jesus died so you could never choose evil again and be forgiven of all the evil you have done. Some of us may have to face circumstances of death and some will never. Your decision has to be made you would rather die before you are in this circumstance and live with Jesus than deny Him and His teachings and live in this world longer.

You got to not love your life here on earth and love the promise of eternal life with Jesus in Heaven more.

Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life...Revelation 2:10.

Prayer

Father help us to love Jesus more than our own lives and this world so we can put His teachings first and live eternally with You and Your only Son…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.

Peter’s Keys…opened the church and have already been used.

He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona (Son of Jona): for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven...Matthew 16:15-19.

Peter was the first to open the doors of the church to the Jews and Gentiles by inspired preaching…

Peter received a promise from Jesus for being the first disciple to confess that Jesus is the Christ the Son of God. The promise is the Keys to the Church. When did Peter open up the doors of the Church…on the day of Pentecost to the Jews in Acts 2…in Jerusalem. Peter also was the one who open the doors of the Church to Cornelius in Acts 10. In fact Cornelius was told to send for Peter and Peter would tell him what to do. So we have Peter using the keys to open the church by speaking a message of salvation to both the unbelieving Gentiles who had become believers and to the unbelieving Jews in Jerusalem who became convinced through the inspired message from Peter’s preaching.

The doors to the church are open and anyone can change and become a disciple of Jesus Christ…they can be adopted by Jesus and become one of God’s children. Do you want to have Jesus as your shepherd as your dad looking over and managing your affairs…I do. DO you believe Jesus died on the cross and was raised from the dead and have you been baptized like Peter commanded…yes or no?

For It is written… Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ. Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call...Acts 2:36-39.

If obey the same message then you will receive the same promise because the promise is to any who the Lord our God shall call…have you answered the call by doing the same thing…by repenting (surrendering all to Jesus in obedience to the truth from Him) and being baptized…yes or no. Will you be baptized for the remission of your sins…yes or no?

Prayer

Father thank you for calling me and others please meet our soul’s deepest needs as Jesus is our  Shepherd and guide us to heaven our home…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.

Do you confess Jesus came in the flesh…died on a cross and was raised from the dead…yes or no?

Peter confessed the truth for it is written…He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God...Matthew 16:15-16.

Do you believe Jesus was died on the cross and was raised from the dead…yes or no? If you do not believe Jesus came in the flesh (that He was here and died and was raised from the dead) then this makes you of the spirit of the anti-Christ. If you say He was a prophet then are you also saying He died and was raised from the dead too…yes or no?

For it is written…For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist...2 John 1:7. Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confess that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: And every spirit that confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof you have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. You are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world. They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them...1 John 4:1-5

Jesus is the only way to have eternal life and not eternal destruction…Jesus is the only way out of Hell…through His sacrifice of His life being scourged…dying on the cross…and being raised from the dead…after which He is now seated on the right hand of the Father until His enemies are made His footstool. Do you want to be punished with everlasting fire…yes or no? I do not want to be forever burned and never consumed in eternal destruction. I fear God and His punishment…therefore I try to keep the commandments of God…which are not heavy burdens but is simply Loving God.

It is written…And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: And you shalt love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, You shalt love your neighbor as yourself. There is none other commandment greater than these...Mark 12:29-31. If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself, ye do well...James 2:8 Is not God our neighbor as well…yes or no?

Prayer

Father we renounce anything that is not You and Your only Son which came in the flesh and died for our sins and we are thankful He was raised from the dead so we can learn to keep your commandments In Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.
