Family roles in Christ…

Wives, be in subjection unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord…

(Wives the decision for a Christian family is left up to the man…pray God will be done through him and if he an unbeliever then set the proper example…and trust God will be done…)

…wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, even if any obey not the word, they may without the word be gained by the behavior of their wives; beholding your chaste (sincere or honest) behavior coupled with fear…to the end that your prayers be not hindered. (1Pe 3:1-7 ASV)

(In case the man is a hypocrite or an unbeliever…never trust him with your salvation…best you can do is pray and set a good example…you cannot keep him from choosing evil or sin…but you can influence him for Jesus by setting a proper example and praying for him and your children…you and I are not qualified to save him only Jesus the Christ is qualified to redeem him and you…so trust in Christ not your husband at all times.)

…For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the church, being himself the savior of the body. But as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their husbands in everything…

Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church…

…and gave Himself up for it; that He might sanctify it (be willing to protect her from physical death so she can lead your children to heaven even if you die physically), having cleansed it (the people in the church family) by the washing of water with the word (reading the word of God or hearing the Word), that He might present the church to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish (teach your wife the truth in the New Testament and help her be spotless before God through example and teaching God’s word) Even so ought husbands also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He that loves his own wife loves himself (love Jesus more than any but love your wife as the most important on earth and Jesus the most important period): for no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as Christ also the church; because we are members of His body…(the church of Christ Romans 16:16)

For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh. This mystery is great: but I speak in regard of Christ and of the church…

…Nevertheless do you also severally love each one his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she fear her husband. (Eph 5:22-33 ASV)… (Husbands love your wives and wives respect your husbands…you are not qualified to pay her sins or to free her from hell only Jesus is…so set the proper example with prayer and deeds obeying Jesus first her will second…as yourself if you were in her shoes)

…Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right…

…Honor your father and mother (which is the first commandment with promise), that it may be well with thee, and you mayest live long on the earth. And, you fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but nurture them in the chastening (discipline) and admonition (encouragement) of the Lord. (Eph 6:1-4 ASV) (children obey Jesus first…then mom and dad second if there is a conflict…just as mom and dad are supposed to obey Jesus first)

Prayer for families…

Father who is heaven please heal our families and cancel all evil within each family…please meet our souls deepest needs and instruct us with the truth…help us set an good example and have the trust in our prayer to You for salvation and the right ways of Your only Fathered Son Jesus Christ…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen (Acts 20:7-8).

A Dusty Bible leads to a Dirty Life…The Pathway To Hell Is Paved With Good Intentions.

…Now the purpose of the commandment is love out of a pure heart, and a good conscience, and genuine faith; From which some, having missed the mark, have turned aside unto vain jangling; Desiring to be teachers of the law, neither understanding what they are saying, nor what they are strongly affirming. Now we know that the law is good, if anyone uses it lawfully, Understanding this: that law is not enacted for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and sinful, for the unholy and profane, for slayers of fathers and slayers of mothers, for murderers, For fornicators, for homosexuals, for kidnappers, for liars, for perjurers, and for any other thing that is opposed to sound doctrine; According to the gospel of the glory of the blessed God, with which I was entrusted…(1Ti 1:5-11)

…Anyone who transgresses and does not continue in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. But the one who continues in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son…(2Jn 1:9)

…And one of the scribes who had come up to Him, after hearing them reasoning together and perceiving that He answered them well, asked Him, Which is the first commandment of all?...

…Then Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel. Our one God is the Lord, the Lord. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength. This is the first commandment. And the second is like this: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these.(Mar 12:28-31)

Father please meet our soul's deepest needs for salvation In Jesus of Nazareth's name amen.

Blessed are those who do God’s will not those who know His will…

Jesus said…Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but the one who is doing the will of My Father, Who is in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy through Your name? And did we not cast out demons through Your name? And did we not perform many works of power through Your name? And then I will confess to them, I never knew you. Depart from Me, you who work lawlessness…

…But while He (Jesus) was still speaking to the multitudes, behold, mother and His brothers were standing outside, seeking to speak with Him. Then one said to Him, Behold, Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside, seeking to speak with You. But He (Jesus) answered and said to him, Who is My mother? And who are My brothers? And stretching out His hand to His disciples, He said, Behold, My mother and My brothers. For whoever shall do the will of My Father, Who is in heaven, that one is My brother and sister and mother…

…In the same way also, faith, if it does not have works, is dead, by itself. But someone is going to say, You have faith, and I have works. My answer is: You prove your faith to me through your works, and I will prove my faith to you through my works. Do you believe that God is one? You do well to believe this. Even the demons believe—and tremble in fear. But are you willing to understand, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? (Mat 7:21-23  Mat 12:46-50  Jas 2:17-20)

We must all appear before the Judgement Seat of Jesus Christ…

…Now when the Son of man (Jesus) shall come in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then shall He sit upon the throne of His glory; And He shall gather before Him all the nations; and He shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. And He shall set the sheep at His right hand, but the goats at His left…

…Then shall the King say to those at His right hand, Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you took Me in; I was naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me. Then shall the righteous answer Him, saying, Lord, when did we see You hungry, and fed You? Or thirsty, and gave You a drink? And when did we see You a stranger, and took You in? Or naked, and clothed You? And when did we see You sick, or in prison, and came to You? And answering, the King shall say to them, Truly I say to you, inasmuch as you have done it to one of the least of these My brethren, you have done it to Me…

…Now then, why do you judge your brother? Or why do you despise your brother? For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ Because it is written,  For as I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall confess to God.  So then, each one of us shall give account of himself to God. (Rom 14:10-12  Mat 25:31-40)

Always be a blessing not a curse…

A new commandment I give to you: that you love one another in the same way that I have loved you, that is how you are to love one another. By this shall everyone know that you are My disciples—if you love one another…

…You have heard that it was said, You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy. But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who despitefully use you and persecute you, So that you yourselves may be the children of your Father Who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust…

…Do not render to anyone evil for evil, but be prepared to do what is right in the sight of all men. If possible, as much as is your part, be at peace with all men. Beloved, do not avenge yourselves; rather, leave this to Gods wrath; for it is written,  Vengeance is Mine! I will recompense, says the Lord. Therefore, if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him drink; for in doing this you will be heaping coals of fire on his head. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good… (Joh 13:34-35 Mat 5:43-45 Rom 12:17-21)

Do not fall to temptation but abide in the will of God…

…Therefore, let the one who thinks he stands take heed, lest he fall. No temptation has come upon you except what is common to mankind. For God, Who is faithful, will not permit you to be tempted beyond what you are able to bear; but with the temptation, He will make a way of escape, so that you may be able to bear it. Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry…

…Blessed is the man who endures trials because, after he has been proved, he shall receive a crown of life, which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. Do not let anyone who is tempted say, I am being tempted by God because God is not tempted by evil, and He Himself tempts no one with evil. But each one is tempted when he is drawn away and is enticed by his own lust. And after lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is completely finished, brings forth death…

…Therefore, what fruit did you have then in the things of which you are now ashamed? For the end result of those things is death. But now that you have been delivered from sin and have become servants of God, you have your fruit unto sanctification, and the end result is eternal life. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. (1Co 10:12-14 Jas 1:12-15 Rom 6:21-23)
