What is a Holy marriage…

What is a Holy marriage…Marriage is an agreement between three different parties as a Holy vow. A male, the husband…a female, the wife…and God the Creator of marriage. I learned from Genesis the original perfect plan without sin…is one woman and one man for life serving God faithfully.

Jesus even said so… Mat 19:4-6 ASV And he answered and said, Have ye not read, that he who made them from the beginning made them male and female, 5 and said, For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh? 6 So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

Jesus said do not break up a marriage! Jephthah had to kill his own daughter who made herself a willing sacrifice… to keep his vow. We read it is a doctrine of a devil to forbid marriage or tell people to break their vows…

1Ti 4:1-5 ASV But the Spirit saith expressly, that in later times some shall fall away from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons, 2 through the hypocrisy of men that speak lies, branded in their own conscience as with a hot iron; 3 forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by them that believe and know the truth. 4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing is to be rejected, if it be received with thanksgiving: 5 for it is sanctified through the word of God and prayer.

The original plan was one man and one woman in marriage for life…Men are told to love their wives like Jesus loved the church…which means we are to forgive and teach and lead our wives in the truth even if they worship the devil or step outside their marriage vow…there should be no divorce! Only forgiveness and instruction on how to keep your vow before God. Wives are told to respect their husbands…as in they are God’s teacher to you the wife…it is the man’s responsibility to teach the family the ways of Jesus not the woman. The woman is submissive trusting God in their Vow and man will be the answer they need to be right with God!

Eph 5:22-30 ASV Wives, be in subjection unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the church, being himself the Savior of the body. 24 But as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their husbands in everything. 25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave Himself up for it; 26 that He might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, 27 that He might present the church to himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be Holy and without blemish. 28 Even so ought husbands also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his own wife loveth himself: 29 for no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as Christ also the church; 30 because we are members of his body.

Husbands…present your wife without blame before Jesus this is your duty before God in Jesus Christ! Wives obey your husbands respecting Him as Jesus’s Authority to you. Forgive as Christ forgave you…correct…teach and instruct in righteousness. If perhaps your wife or husband decides to be an idolator instead of a Christian…then what do you do? They will not accept correction they are rebellious trying to covert you into their idolatry… a Christian should have peace in his home not a war zone…listen to what was told the Corinthian congregation which many were into idolatry and had come to know the love of Jesus were told…

1Co 7:10-17 ASV But unto the married I give charge, yea not I, but the Lord, (Apostle is quoting Jesus teaching) That the wife depart not from her husband 11 (but should she depart, let her remain unmarried, or else be reconciled to her husband); and that the husband leave not his wife. 12 But to the rest say I, not the Lord (As an Apostle speaking with the Authority of God the Inspiration of the Holy Spirit as in the Same Authority as Jesus) If any brother hath an unbelieving wife, and she is content to dwell with him, let him not leave her. 13 And the woman that hath an unbelieving husband, and he is content to dwell with her, let her not leave her husband. 14 For the unbelieving husband is sanctified in the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified in the brother: else were your children unclean; but now are they Holy (have the Holy Spirit or Sanctified by Him). 15 Yet if the unbelieving departs, let him depart: the brother or the sister is not under bondage in such cases: but God hath called us in peace. 16 For how knowest thou, O wife, whether thou shalt save thy husband? or how knowest thou, O husband, whether thou shalt save thy wife? 17 Only, as the Lord hath distributed to each man, as God hath called each, so let him walk. And so ordain I in all the churches.

So then if you are married and your spouse does not want to become a Christian or for some reason rejects God or even is just unfaithful to your marriage vow… The Holy Instruction says let her depart…she or he does not want God in their life…you cannot make a person keep a vow they do not want to keep…thus let her depart…however if the rebellious one wants to reconcile you must forgive…if they want a divorce then you must grant one…we are called to peace…however the Christian should never be the one who breaks his or her vow! If you are then divorced through no fault of your own…then as the instruction says you may marry to contain your sexual desires of the flesh.

Like King David...He is said to be the man after God’s own heart yet was given more than one wife from God even…yet had to be a faithful Husband to each of them. For the Christian who has been married and perhaps divorced…he must remain faithful to His vow until God dissolves the vow based on an unfaithful spouse either with adultery (sex outside of marriage) or idolatry…one must always keep his vow first being like Jesus who offers repentance and mercy for those who have rebelled against their Creator and spouse.

Jesus said it is better never to make a vow…but marriage is just this…an agreement before the Creator to be a faithful spouse between a male and female. Why? You have to forgive the unfaithful wife seventy times seven…or until the rebellious spouse asks for a divorce or leaves! Why would a faithful Christian ever want to break their vow but not keep their love faithful to God? No Christian should seek a divorce the very fact they do says they are not faithful to their vow or Jesus. There should be no divorce and no sex outside of marriage but each soul has free choice and can choose to obey or rebel against God.

Mat 5:31-37 ASV It was said also, whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement: 32 but I say unto you, that every one that puts away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, maketh her an adulteress: and whosoever shall marry her when she is put away committeth adultery. 33 Again, ye have heard that it was said to them of old time, Thou shalt not forswear thyself, but shalt perform unto the Lord thine oaths: 34 but I say unto you, Swear not at all; neither by the Heaven, for it is the throne of God; 35 nor by the earth, for it is the footstool of His feet; nor by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King. 36 Neither shalt thou swear by thy head, for thou canst not make one hair white or black. 37 But let your speech be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: and whatsoever is more than these is of the evil one.

So when you are married you cannot receive from your spouse anything…but are to keep yourself faithful your vow before Jesus…you cannot participate with their idolatry…you must keep yourself faithful even if your spouse is tempting you to keep idolatry…Jesus must be your only source and supply…as Peter an Apostle of Christ said through inspiration of the Holy Spirit…

1Pe 3:1-4 ASV In like manner, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, even if any obey not the word, they may without the word be gained by the behavior of their wives; 2 beholding your chaste behavior coupled with fear. 3 Whose adorning let it not be the outward adorning of braiding the hair, and of wearing jewels of gold, or of putting on apparel; 4 but let it be the hidden man of the heart, in the incorruptible apparel of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.

Remember in a Holy marriage you are keep your own personal vow before God to stay faithful to Him first and souse second and hopefully your obedience to Jesus will cause your spouse to realize that Jesus ways are better and be converted…happy spouse happy house…may we all work peace and Jesus in our homes.

Father, I ask You will help us keep our vows and we as Christians cancel all evil according to the Authority we have in our marriages as Christians…I ask you to help me be faithful to You alone and hopefully we will be faithful to our vow…please keep us from idolatry and temptation so we can remain faithful to You alone in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.

What is a Holy marriage…

How to read the bible…

In the Bible there are many records of the Truth spoken by Holy men who were inspired by the Holy Spirit…So what to do when it seems as if there is a contradiction. There is One Author and we have many accounts of the same events from eye witnesses and faithful men who have kept the Holy Record True.

You and I may be sitting in a field and a tree fall. Then afterwards, we go our separate ways and then describe the events of the tree falling in the field. Our stories will not be the exact same even though we were both there and seen the same event. Listen to one such event found in the pages of the New Testament of Christ which is the New Agreement between God and creation.

So, in the instance of the betrayal of Judas of Jesus…we find these facts each from a different account and we must harmonize them because all the words are true from different eye witness accounts…

Mat 26:51 ASV And behold, one of them that were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and smote the servant of the high priest, and struck off his ear.

Truth of the facts…One of Jesus disciples stretched out his hand…smote the servant of the High Priest…with a sword and cut off his ear.

Mar 14:47 ASV But a certain one of them that stood by drew his sword, and smote the servant of the high priest, and struck off his ear.

Truth of the facts…One of Jesus disciples stretched out his hand…smote the servant of the High Priest…with a sword and cut off his ear.

Luk 22:50 ASV And a certain one of them smote the servant of the high priest, and struck off his right ear.

Truth of the facts…one of the followers of Jesus struck the High Priest’s servant and cut off his right ear.

Joh 18:10 ASV Simon Peter therefore having a sword drew it, and struck the high priest's servant, and cut off his right ear. Now the servant's name was Malchus.

Truth of the facts…We find the servant is Peter and the servant of the High Priest who had his right ear cut off name was Malchus…

So when we have all the accounts of the Truth and examine all the Truth of the facts we learn the one event was described with different details which do not change the event or make it not true but better describe the who, what, when, where…

So we learn in this scene…Peter who had a sword…smote the High Priest servant with the sword…Peter cut off Malchus right ear…but we had to read four different accounts of the record to pull together all the details which do not contradict.

Father…please help us discern the truth so we can know what to do to be right with You…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.

How to read the bible…

Pro 8:13-36 ASV The fear of Jehovah is to hate evil: Pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, And the perverse mouth, do I hate. 14 Counsel is mine, and sound knowledge: I am understanding; I have might. 15 By me kings reign, And princes decree justice. 16 By me princes rule, And nobles, even all the judges of the earth. 17 I love them that love me; And those that seek me diligently shall find me. 18 Riches and honor are with me; Yea, durable wealth and righteousness. 19 My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; And my revenue than choice silver. 20 I walk in the way of righteousness, In the midst of the paths of justice; 21 That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance, And that I may fill their treasuries. 22 Jehovah possessed me in the beginning of his way, Before his works of old. 23 I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, Before the earth was. 24 When there were no depths, I was brought forth, When there were no fountains abounding with water. 25 Before the mountains were settled, Before the hills was I brought forth; 26 While as yet He had not made the earth, nor the fields, Nor the beginning of the dust of the world. 27 When He established the heavens, I was there: When He set a circle upon the face of the deep, 28 When He made firm the skies above, When the fountains of the deep became strong, 29 When He gave to the sea its bound, That the waters should not transgress His commandment, When He marked out the foundations of the earth; 30 Then I was by Him, as a master workman; And I was daily his delight, Rejoicing always before Him, 31 Rejoicing in His habitable earth; And my delight was with the sons of men. 32 Now therefore, my sons, hearken unto me; For blessed are they that keep my ways. 33 Hear instruction, and be wise, And refuse it not. 34 Blessed is the man that heareth me, Watching daily at my gates, Waiting at the posts of my doors. 35 For whoso finds me finds life, And shall obtain favor of Jehovah. 36 But He that sins against me wrongs His own soul: All they that hate me love death.

Joh 14:6-7 ASV Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one cometh unto the Father, but by Me. 7 If ye had known Me, ye would have known my Father also: from henceforth ye know Him, and have seen Him.

Joh 14:15-17 ASV If ye love Me, ye will keep My commandments. 16 And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may be with you forever, 17 even the Spirit of Truth: whom the world cannot receive; for it beholds Him not, neither knows Him: ye know Him; for He abides with you, and shall be in you.

2Jn 1:2-3 ASV for the Truth's sake which abides in us, and It shall be with us forever: 3 Grace, mercy, peace shall be with us, from God the Father, and from Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in Truth and love.

Father…please grant all us sinners…wisdom, understanding, knowledge, truth, joy, hope, and faith that it may be well with our soul and we may learn the Truth and do what is right before You and Your only Son…so we may find mercy on the great Day of Judgement…In Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.
