You access the grace of God through baptism…saved by grace...

For by grace (Jesus’s favor of dying on the cross and God raising Him from the dead) have you been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not of works (an action we do not deserve), that no man should glory. For we are His (God’s) workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God afore prepared that we should walk in them...Ephesians 2:8-10.

(Jesus) who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto Himself a people for his own possession, zealous of good works...Titus 2:14.

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. We who died to sin, how shall we any longer live therein? Or are ye ignorant that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death...Romans 6:1-3?

In whom you were also circumcised with a circumcision not made with hands, in the putting off of the body of the flesh, in the circumcision of Christ; having been buried with him in baptism, wherein ye were also raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead...Colossians 2:11-12.

Or are ye ignorant that all we who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were buried therefore with Him through baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life. For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of His resurrection; knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away, that so we should no longer be in bondage to sin...Romans 6:3-6.

I marvel that you are so quickly removing from Him that called you in the grace (death and resurrection) of Christ unto a different gospel; which is not another gospel: only there are some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. But though we, or an angel from heaven, should preach unto you any gospel other than that which we preached unto you, let him be anathema (accursed)...Galatians 1:6-8.

For there is one God, one Mediator also between God and men, Himself man, Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all; the testimony to be borne in its own times...1 Timothy 2:5-6.

Who shall lay anything to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifies; who is he that condemns? It is Christ Jesus that died, yea rather, that was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, Who also makes intercession for us...Romans 8:33-34.

For ye are all sons of God, through faith, in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ did put on Christ...Galatians 3:26-27.

Do you want to go to heaven when you die?

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into His death? Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life...Romans 6:1-4. If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sits on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth...Colossians 3:1-2. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwelleth in you. Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God...Romans 8:10-14.

What is the grace…Gifts…Received…Although…Christians…Err…

We receive the gifts we need although we are learning how to be fit for Heaven and make mistakes. Grace is the forgiveness needed to be made righteous because we have been obedient to Jesus by being baptized and are learning a better way to live our lives. Do you have to practice perfect doctrine to go to heaven? Do you have to have the New Testament memorized to go to heaven…no. However you have to trust in Christ and remain faithful to Him and the truth revealed unto you. Jesus said the truth sets us free and Jesus is the truth…He reveals the truth and then we must learn to practice the truth He reveals to us. Blessed are those whom God does not impute sin to but righteousness. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ did put on Christ....Galatians 3:27. Putting on Christ through baptism is like God seeing Jesus not ourselves when He looks upon us. He sees Jesus sinless life and our willingness to learn to be righteous because we are clothed in the righteousness of Jesus not that of ourselves.

Prayer

Father please reveal the truth to us so we can learn to become righteous as You are righteous please remember we are but children in diapers before You trying to remain faithful…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.

I am the chief of sinners…God save me!

Faithful is the saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief...1 Timothy 1:15. We were buried therefore with Him through baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life. For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection; knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away, that so we should no longer be in bondage to sin...Romans 6:4-6. And we know that to them that love God all things work together for good, even to them that are called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also foreordained to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren: and whom He foreordained, them He also called: and whom He called, them He also justified: and whom He justified, them He also glorified. What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us...Romans 8:28-31?

We are sinners who deserve punishment but thank God we have been washed in the blood and cleansed from every stain! I have been baptized and remaining faithful, are you? We are all the biggest sinners in our own eyes. We should be grateful for the favors that bless our lives and continually cleanse us from our sinful desires. I believe gratitude is something everyone needs being grateful for the life willingly sacrificed for us. For Jesus dying and being raised from the dead. For hearing the message and believing unto salvation by being baptized for the forgiveness of sin. Grateful for the message Jesus has died and was raised so we could always choose the right thing to do. Is that not the greatest news ever…Jesus died so we could always know the truth and choose the righteousness? That as long as we remain faithful, we will be resurrected into eternal life and not eternal punishment or death?

Prayer

Father please grant us a grateful heart and mind and meet our soul’s deepest needs and give us the remedy for our sin and thank you for the grace to be forgiven…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.
