Pornography…want to see…what Jesus said about porn…

Jesus Christ said…

You have heard that it was said, You shalt not commit adultery: but I say unto you, that every one that looks on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. And if your right eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out, and cast it from you: for it is profitable for you that one of your members should perish, and not your whole body be cast into hell. And if thy right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for you that one of your members should perish, and not your whole body go into hell...Matthew 5:27-30.


Jesus said to look at porn is the same thing as committing adultery…breaking one of the commandments of God...you shall not commit adultery. The Lust of the flesh…we have a promise that we can overcome our flesh’s desire…You are of God, my little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world...1 John 4:4. Have you surrendered your flesh’s desire to Jesus and the Holy Spirit…yes or no? Will you give it to God…yes or no?


Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the vainglory of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passes away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abides forever...1 John 2:15-17. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwelleth in you, He that raised up Christ Jesus from the dead shall give life also to your mortal bodies through His Spirit that dwelleth in you. So then, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh: for if ye live after the flesh, ye must die; but if by the Spirit ye put to death the deeds of the body, ye shall live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God...Romans 8:11-14.


We can overcome the porn we see advertised…and sometimes look for. We must pray and surrender to God our desires and He will supply our needs needing to be met for us to live a life pleasing to Him.


Prayer

Father please quench our desire for porn and masturbation and supply our flesh’s needs so we can not commit adultery with images of porn…heal our bodies and minds from the sin of our pasts…and meet our soul’s deepest needs…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.

You will answer for your deeds done to others...either good or evil...

We will all answer for our deeds done to others…either good or evil.

For we must all be made manifest before the judgment-seat of Christ; that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he hath done, whether it be good or bad. Knowing therefore the fear of the Lord, we persuade men, but we are made manifest unto God; and I hope that we are made manifest also in your consciences...2 Corinthians 5:10-11. But even if ye should suffer for righteousness' sake, blessed are you: and fear not their fear, neither be troubled; but sanctify in your hearts Christ as Lord: being ready always to give answer to every man that asks you a reason concerning the hope that is in you, yet with meekness (obedience) and fear: having a good conscience; that, wherein ye are spoken against, they may be put to shame who revile your good manner of life in Christ...1 Peter 3:14-16. Give diligence to present thyself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, handling aright the word of truth...2 Timothy 2:15.

 

This is the end of the matter; all hath been heard: Fear God, and keep his commandments; for this is the whole duty (plan and purpose) of man. For God will bring every work into judgment, with every hidden thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil...Ecclesiastes 12:13-14.

 

Do you fear dying and being judged for your deeds…yes or no? Jesus Christ died on the cross and was raised from the dead so you could change your fate of being punished by God for doing evil deeds. Jesus has already taken care of what you need to do to reconcile with God. You just need to trust in Jesus and obey His message of salvation. We must follow Jesus without fear of death knowing that He gives us eternal life and peace with God as faithfully practice the truth He reveals to us. We must turn from following ourselves in repentance and turning to God with all our heart, mind, and strength. Then faithfully practice the truth revealed to us.

 

Jesus said…He that believes (the message Jesus died and rose from the grave to supply your salvation) and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieves (rejects the message Jesus died to supply salvation for you) shall be condemned...Mark 16:16. and to you that are afflicted rest with us, at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with the angels of his power in flaming fire, rendering vengeance to them that know not God, and to them that obey not the gospel (the message Jesus died and rose from the grave to supply salvation) of our Lord Jesus: who shall suffer punishment, even eternal destruction from the face of the Lord and from the glory of his might...2 Thessalonians 1:7-9.

 

Prayer

Father our Creator please give me more fear of Jesus and You so I can depart from evil and be zealous and repent of any of my evil deeds…please meet my soul’s deepest needs so I can prosper and be in health as my soul prospers…please heal me of the damage of my past and I forgive all others so I can be healed…please pour in Your oil…and give me a sound mind heart and spirit in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.

Do you fear God...yes or no...

Fear God and keep His commandments…

Teach me thy way, O Jehovah; I will walk in thy truth: Unite my heart to fear thy name...Psalms 86:11. The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of knowledge; But the foolish despise wisdom and instruction...Proverbs 1:7. The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom; And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding...Proverbs 9:10. The fear of Jehovah is to hate evil: Pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, And the perverse mouth, do I hate...Proverbs 8:13. The fear of Jehovah is clean, enduring forever: The ordinances of Jehovah are true, and righteous altogether...Psalms 19:9. The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all they that do his commandments: His praise endures forever...Psalms 111:10. The fear of Jehovah is a fountain of life, That one may depart from the snares of death...Proverbs 14:27.


Do you fear the Creator and His punishment of evil doers…yes or no? I do. God judges the wicked and the righteous and rewards them according to their deeds. Do you do evil…do you lie…steal…covet…commit adultery…honor your parents…murder…use God’s name in something other than prayer and teaching…do you keep yourself Holy so you do not have to shed innocent blood and are able to worship God…do you commit idolatry…yes or no? One day God will punish the evil doers and their end will be sudden and certain. Forsake evil and turn to God in fear and begin to keep His commandments before it is too late to escape His Punishment. One lie or evil deed results in the punishment of death eternal depart from evil now or as Jesus said repent or perish (Luke 13:3).


Prayer

Jehovah please grant us repentance and meet our soul’s deepest need for living in your fear so we can escape punishment…We believe in your only Son and have been washed in His blood…please restore the joy of salvation in our lives…and please cover us in grace mercy peace joy and love and grant wisdom and understanding be given to us who fear you…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.
