God is never too busy to hear us when we pray…

And it came to pass, as he was praying in a certain place, that when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, even as John also taught his disciples. And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Father, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Give us day by day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins; for we ourselves also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And bring us not into temptation. And he said unto them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go unto him at midnight, and say to him, Friend, lend me three loaves; for a friend of mine is come to me from a journey, and I have nothing to set before him; and he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not: the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee? I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will arise and give him as many as he needeth. And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. And of which of you that is a father shall his son ask a loaf, and he give him a stone? or a fish, and he for a fish give him a serpent? Or if he shall ask an egg, will he give him a scorpion? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him...Luke 11:1-13?

God is never asleep in bed but hears when we pray and ask for our petitions to be granted. You ever think when you pray in the middle of worship…I mean God is receiving worship and has time to listen to your prayer? It is just like this parable…an argument from the lesser tot he greater. If a man will get out of bed and meet the needs of a friend how much more will a loving Father hear our need...God always hears us and sees our immediate needs. He said ask and you will receive…seek and you will find…knock and the door will be opened unto you. God is eternal and can receive worship and hear your prayer at the same time, sometimes our songs are a prayer.

There are many people who give lip service to the Lord Jesus…

And he said unto all, If any man would come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. For whosoever would save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it. For what is a man profited, if he gain the whole world, and lose or forfeit his own self?...Luke 9:23-25.

For whosoever shall do the will of my Father who is in heaven, he is my brother, and sister, and mother...Matthew 12:50.

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy by thy name, and by thy name cast out demons, and by thy name do many mighty works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity...Matthew 7:21-23.

There are many people who give lip service to the Lord Jesus. Saying the right things and many who are doing the wrong things with their deeds. Many religious people have a message of salvation to have you obey their form of doctrine, but how many are actually obeying the words of Jesus and His Apostles…Loving God with all their heart, mind, soul, spirit, and strength and treating or loving their neighbors as themselves (Mark 12:29-31) Jesus said many are called but few are chosen. Are you choosing Jesus because He accepts anyone who does not says His will. Jesus said He that believes and is baptized will be saved but he that does not believe (Jesus died and was raised from the dead as the Only Son of God) will be damned (cast into hell). Will you be baptized to obey Jesus and not men…yes or no?

Prayer - Don't give God instructions…just report for duty!

but I say unto you, Love your enemies, and pray for them that persecute you…Matthew 5:44.

And when ye pray, ye shall not be as the hypocrites: for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have received their reward. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thine inner chamber, and having shut thy door, pray to thy Father who is in secret, and thy Father who seeth in secret shall recompense thee...Matthew 6:5-6.

And in praying use not vain repetitions, as the Gentiles do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him...Matthew 6:7-8.

After this manner therefore pray ye:

Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so on earth. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses...Matthew 6:9-15.
