Stinking thinking…

And He called to Him the multitude again, and said unto them, Hear me all of you, and understand: there is nothing from without the man, that going into him can defile him; but the things which proceed out of the man are those that defile the man. If any man hath ears to hear, let him hear. And when He was entered into the house from the multitude, His disciples asked of Him the parable. And He saith unto them, Are ye so without understanding also? Perceive ye not, that whatsoever from without goes into the man, it cannot defile him; because it goes not into his heart, but into his belly, and goes out into the draught? This He said, making all meats clean. And He said, That which proceeds out of the man, that defiles the man. For from within, out of the heart of men, evil thoughts proceed, fornications, thefts, murders, adulteries, coveting, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, railing, pride, foolishness: all these evil things proceed from within, and defile the man...Mark 7:14-23.

Do you plan or think evil…or sex…or stealing…or murdering…or another person’s spouse…wanting what God has not given you…? Do you oppose God’s word with wickedness…or through deceit…bad lusts…or just see evil being done instead of good will…do you rail against God and His people? Do you think you are a self made man (pride)? Jesus is tell us that these are heart issues if these are present then we need to purify our hearts and be conscience of the presence of such. Sin is lurking at the door when thoughts of these are present. Jesus said these defile a person these make one commit a sin. Stinking thinking makes one stink. Sinful thoughts lead to sin. Instead we are to think on Holy things listen…

In nothing be anxious; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honorable, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things...Philippians 4:6-8. Be subject therefore unto God; but resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye doubleminded. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He shall exalt you...James 4:7-10.

Attitudes to develop and cultivate…for a blessed Character

Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven…blessed are those who think I cannot do it without You God…is your attitude I cannot live my life without you God?

Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted…those who mourn over their sins and circumstances to God will find comfort. Blessed are the broken hearted who realize they sin against God.

Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth…blesses are the obedient to God for they shall inherit the earth. The word meek means like a horse with raw power remaining obedient to its reigns or master.

Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God…when you see the purity of actions you see God’s will.

Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called sons of God…peace is something you do with others in action…it does not happen by doing nothing.

Have you a broken and contrite heart…God will not despise you. In other words are you poor in spirit and mourning over your sin and circumstances? Are you practicing the truth out of devotion to God remaining faithful to the truth or obedient? Are you wanting what is right from God…you will be filled. Have you forgiven…then you will be forgiven…are looking for God’s will and remaining pure? Are you reconciling or working peace among men and God?

You have a plan and purpose in Christ…He is calling you along to His side and wants nothing but the best for you. When we cultivate and desire these attitudes then Jesus blesses us.

Prayer

Father please grant unto us the character we need to be blessed and faithful to the truth…please meet our souls deepest need and heal us from our past mistakes…help us to reconcile with others and especially you…we forgive all wrongs done to us…help us to walk in peace with others and especially Your peace…let Your will be done for it is best for our soul and life…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.

There is a New Agreement between God and creation…

Having then a great high priest, who hath passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we have not a High Priest that cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but one that hath been in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore draw near with boldness unto the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace to help us in time of need...Hebrews 4:14-16. I exhort therefore, first of all, that supplications, prayers, intercessions, thanksgivings, be made for all men; for kings and all that are in high place; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and gravity. This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; who would have all men to be saved, and come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, one Mediator also between God and men, himself man, Christ Jesus, who gave Himself a ransom for all; the testimony to be borne in its own times...1 Timothy 2:1-6. For we must all be made manifest before the judgment-seat of Christ; that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he hath done, whether it be good or bad...2 Corinthians 5:10.

Did you know there is a New Agreement between God and creation…

The New Testament (agreement) of Christ has been revealed by Jesus’s apostles and the Holy Spirit. The New Agreement was purchased with the precious blood of Jesus who died on the cross and was raised from the dead by the Father as proof His sacrifice was accepted. Jesus will reveal the truth to you and all you need to do is practice the truth revealed. Jesus and His teachings all reflect the greatest commandments to love God with all of your heart, mind, soul, spirit, and strength and to love your neighbor as yourself. Jesus will never ask you to lie, steal, covet, or anything immoral, but says… Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled...Matthew 5:6. Do you want to be right with the Creator and fellow man ? Then follow Jesus He will reveal the truth to you so you can be right with both God and fellow man.

Jesus said…

All things have been delivered unto Me of my Father: and no one knows the Son, save the Father; neither doth any know the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son wills to reveal Him. Come unto Me, all you that labor and are heavy laden (burdens), and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek (obedient) and lowly (humble) in heart: and you shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light...Matthew 11:27-30. Jesus offers a light and easy yoke as you learn the truth and begin to practice the truth He reveals to you. Will you agree to take on you the teachings of Jesus to learn of Him so you can have rest for your soul…yes or no? Do you believe Jesus died on the cross and was raised from the dead…yes or no? Have you been baptized…yes or no?

Prayer

Creator please grant us repentance and reconciliation with You and fellow man…please reveal the truth to us so we can learn to practice Your Only Fathered Son’s teaching…please grant us a sound mind and meet our soul’s deepest needs administer to us a prescription remedy and cure for our lives and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil one…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.
