Why were are the 3 shepherds called the three wise men…

When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy. And when they were come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped Him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto Him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh. And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way...Matthew 2:10-12.

They gave gifts to help a struggling family that a king Herod was trying to kill so they could be provided for and escape the snare. How much value could we learn from this wise move from the three shepherds…gave gifts that would supply a small fortune perhaps enough to raise Jesus…this is why people call them the three wise men which gave gold…frankincense…and myrrh. They also worshipped the young Child and they obeyed the warning of the God in a dream! Wise men indeed.

Father

Fallen men and angels repent and forsake satan and any evil deeds…

The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat...2 Peter 3:9-12?

We which have forsook evil and been washed have this promise…

According as His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. And beside this, giving all diligence (effort) add to your faith virtue (moral excellence); and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance (self-control); and to temperance patience (endurance); and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity (love). For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ...2 Peter 1:3-8.

We all (angels and men a like) have a promise we can repent before the world is burned up in judgement by God Almighty…even satan could repent if he so chooses…any soul can repent and forsake their evil. Jesus Christ died and was raised from the dead so any soul could choose to do right not wrong…there is a way and His name is Jesus. Jesus will help us grow in faith and virtue and many other areas in our lives but we have to trust in Him and obey His teachings.

Jesus said…And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned...Mark 16:15-16. Have you been washed by the cleansing flood…yes or no?

You are predetermined or predestined to become a Christian in order to be saved…

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places (the current spiritual heaven and the new heaven) in Christ: even as He (God) chose us in Him before the foundation of the world (predetermined by the time period we (you and I) were born in…after the cross or the death burial and resurrection of Jesus from the dead or before the cross), that we should be holy and without blemish before him in love: having foreordained (predetermined those of us after the cross) us unto adoption as sons through Jesus Christ unto Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved: in whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace (un-earned favor)…and you, being in time past alienated and enemies in your mind in your evil works, yet now hath He reconciled in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy and without blemish and unreproveable before Him: if so be that you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you (all) heard, which was preached in all creation under heaven… Wherefore also we make it our aim, whether at home or absent, to be well-pleasing unto Him. For we must all be made manifest before the judgment-seat of Christ; that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he hath done, whether it be good or bad. (we were born after the cross of Jesus meaning after He died and was raised from the dead…therefore if you want to be saved from the sins of the past you must become a Christian…there is no other way to be saved from the evil deeds you and I have done…ben) (Eph 1:3-7 ASV Col 1:21-23 ASV 2Co 5:9-10 ASV)

We are all just children in dirty diapers before Jesus the God of gods…

(Jesus)…said, Verily I say unto you, Except you turn (forsake evil), and become as little children, you shall in no wise (no wise way) enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receives Me: but whoso shall cause one of these little ones that believe on Me to stumble, (tempt no believer in Christ) it is profitable for him that a great millstone should be hanged about his neck, and that he should be sunk in the depth of the sea. (better off dead than to cause a Christian to error)… Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except one be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God… (this is how you become a child of God being born of the water (baptism and then receive the promise of the Holy Spirit)… Now when they (the ones which had a part in Jesus death or knew Jesus was already raised and ascended into heaven) heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and the rest of the apostles, Brethren, what shall we do? (to be saved He is no longer here)…And Peter said unto them, Repent you (forsake everything created and surrender to Jesus Christ’s will only), and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ unto the remission of your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For to you is the promise, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call unto Him. For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you (all) forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. (some people you have to forgive because they exist like satan) (Mat 18:3-6 ASV Joh 3:5 ASV Act 2:37-39 ASV Mat 6:14-15 ASV)

Do you have the witness of the blood (forgiveness from Jesus) water (baptized into Christ Gal 3:27) and the Spirit (faithfully given at baptism as a promise unless rejected)?

For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son (the only Human who was Fathered by God so no man could say he was greater), that whosoever believes on Him should (not will not but should obey the teachings of Jesus) not perish, but have eternal life. For God sent not the Son into the world to judge the world; but that the world should be saved through Him… This is He that came by water (Jesus baptism) and blood (shed His blood on the cross), even Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and with the blood. And it is the Spirit that bears witness, because the Spirit is the truth. For there are three who bear witness, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and the three agree in one… He that believes and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieves (acts as if Jesus did not exist or died for them)  shall be condemned (into the lake of fire). And these signs shall accompany them that believe: in my name shall they cast out demons; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall in no wise hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. So then the Lord Jesus, after He had spoken unto them, was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word by the signs that followed. Amen. (do you need confirmation that Jesus died and rose from the dead? Yes or no?) Mar 16:16-20 ASV Joh 3:16-17 ASV 1Jn 5:6-8 ASV

Father please keep us faithful and confirm this truth to us so we can know the truth and be set free from all the false witnesses which pretend to be the Way of Salvation…please provide for all our needs spiritual, physical, and emotional in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.
