When is the last time you have read the Ten Commandments and asked yourself to change for the better?

Here are the Ten Commandments

Thou shalt have no other gods before Me…Exodus 20:3 (No other religions)

Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image…Exodus 20:4 (no lucky charms or idols)

Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain…Exodus 20:7 (Only use Jesus or God’s name in prayer or teaching)

Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy Exodus 20:8 (keep yourself Holy so you can worship God)

Honor thy father and thy mother…Exodus 20:12 (do not disrespect your mom or your dad)

Thou shalt not kill…Exodus 20:13 (do not murder)

Thou shalt not commit adultery…Exodus 20:14 (be faithful to your marriage)

Thou shalt not steal…Exodus 20:15 (Do not steal)

Thou shalt not bear false witness…Exodus 20:16 (Do not lie)

Thou shalt not covet …Exodus 20:17 (Do not want what your neighbors have but want what God has given you)

If you practice loving your neighbor as your own self…then you will be practicing these…especially if you love God above all as your Supreme Neighbor. Never say God and not be praying or teaching.(you do want someone to say your name and then be like I did not mean to say it) Never look to a good luck charm or an idol for a blessing. Never disrespect your mom or your dad. (You gain respect by giving respect) Never murder someone. (you do not want to die so do not kill) Never cheat on your spouse. (you do not want your spouse to cheat so do not cheat) Never steal. You do not want it stolen from you so do not steal) Never lie. (you do not want to be lied to so do not lie) Never want someone else’s stuff (you do not want someone eyeing your stuff so do not want other peoples stuff but be content with what you have)

So are you truly loving God and your neighbor…yes or no?

Prayer

Father help us keep Your commandments and love our neighbors as ourself and especially You so we can worship you in spirit and truth any day…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.

…Does the bible tell you how different age groups are supposed to behave…It is written…

Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

...Titus 1:15-16

1.      But speak thou the things which befit the sound doctrine: that aged men be temperate (self-control), grave (sincere), sober-minded, sound in faith, in love, in patience:

2.      That aged women likewise be reverent (respectful) in demeanor, not slanderers nor enslaved to much wine, teachers of that which is good; that they may train the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be sober-minded, chaste (pure), workers at home, kind, being in subjection to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed

3.      The younger men likewise exhort to be sober-minded: in all things showing yourself an ensample of good works; in your doctrine showing uncorruptness, gravity (being grounded), sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of us.

4.      Exhort (encourage) servants to be in subjection to their own masters (bosses), and to be well-pleasing to them in all things; not gainsaying (talking back); not purloining (not taking away from), but showing all good fidelity (faith); that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in all things.

...Titus 2:1-10

For the grace of God hath appeared, bringing salvation to all men, instructing us, to the intent that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly and righteously and godly in this present world; looking for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ; who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a people for his own possession, zealous of good works.

...Titus 2:11-14

In the book of Titus there are four group of people Titus is told what to tell them to do to behave correctly so they may be zealous of good works fit for Heaven. The aged man…the aged woman…the younger men…and all servants or slaves. You fit in one of these categories when you read this how do you measure up to the prescription for Titus preaching? Perhaps start on one of the traits you need to work on today and begin creating a new habit…do you have any spiritual growth goals set or just hope you make it. Why not get in tentful and do more than intend on growing…make a planned effort. I heard it takes longer to lose a habit than begin on…just know without trying the pathway to hell is paved with good intentions.

Prayer

Father please help us by meeting our soul’s deepest needs so we can continue to become more like Jesus and have a character fit for heaven our home…we renounce satan and his kingdom please show us mercy and help us grow…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.

We are told to study and make ourselves approved…

Study (give diligence) to shew yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing (applying) the word of truth...2 Timothy 2:15.

But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes. And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt (able) to teach, patient, In meekness (obedience) instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure (perhaps) will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will...2 Timothy 2:23-26.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works...2 Timothy 3:16-17.

How many people can tell someone the good news they obeyed to be saved? Most people will call a teacher or a preacher. Can you tell someone what you did to be saved so they to can be translated out of Satan’s kingdom and into the Christ? We must study in order to grow closer in relationship with God and this also includes doctrine…re-proving people in error of beliefs…correcting others behavior…so they can be informed in the right way.

How do you restore someone who was faithful to Christ…you get to the Word of God back in their minds and hearts for it alone produces faith. You cannot make a rebel change…but you can remind them of the promises and teachings of Jesus…for it is written…So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God...Romans 10:17.

Prayer

Father we pray you will meet our soul’s deepest needs and heal our sinful past wounds that we may prosper and be in health as our soul prospers…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.
