Blessed are the Peacemakers…

Reminder obedience is learned through suffering…

Jesus said…Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God. Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you…

…(Jesus Christ) Though he were a Son, yet learned He obedience by the things which He suffered; And being made perfect, He became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey Him…

…For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved. (Mat 5:9-12 KJV Heb 5:8-9 KJV Joh 3:16-17 KJV)

Exhortation to be a faithful Saint…a Soldier of Christ…

You therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that wars entangles himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please Him who hath chosen him to be a soldier. And if a man also strives for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strives lawfully… ?

…My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into (different) divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing… Wherefore let him that thinketh he stands take heed lest he fall…

…There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, Who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.

(2Ti 2:3-5 KJV Jas 1:2-4 KJV 1Co 10:12-14 KJV)

Exhortation to make Jesus’ table your only table…

… What say I then? that the idol is anything, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is anything? But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils. You cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils. Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than He? …

…Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw (near) nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double minded. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He shall lift you up…

…Jesus said… If any man come to Me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after Me, cannot be my disciple.

(1Co 10:19-22 KJV Jas 4:7-10 KJV Luk 14:26-27 KJV)

Exhortation to be faithful to Jesus under trials…

And you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when you art rebuked of Him: For whom the Lord loveth He chastens, and scourges every son whom He receives. If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chastens (discipline) not? But if you be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are you bastards, and not sons…

…Be you also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draws (near) nigh. Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest you be condemned: behold, the Judge stands before the door. Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience. Behold, we count them happy which endure. You have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy…

…For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully. For what glory is it, if, when you be buffeted for your faults, you shall take it patiently? but if, when you do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God. For even hereunto were you called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow his steps: Who did no sin, neither was guile found in His mouth: Who, when He was reviled, reviled not again; when He suffered, He threatened not; but committed Himself to Him that judges righteously: Who His own Self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.

(Heb 12:5-8 KJV 1Pe 2:19-25 KJV Jas 5:8-11 KJV)

Exhortation to be maintain good works until Jesus comes back…

Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; and their works do follow them…

… For the grace of God that bringeth salvation has appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ; Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto Himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works…

… This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that you affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men. But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain. A man that is an heretic after the first and second admonition (encouragement to be faithful) reject; Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sins, being condemned of himself.

(Rev 14:12-13 KJV Tit 2:11-14 KJV Tit 3:8-11 KJV)

The Soldier of Christ...A Christian Anthem.

I am a soldier of Christ. The Lord Jesus is my commanding officer. The Holy Bible is my code of conduct. Faith, prayer and the Word are my weapons of warfare. I have been taught the Word of God, trained by experience, tried by adversity and tested by fire. I am a volunteer in this army, and I am enlisted for eternity. I will retire in this army at time’s end, or die in this army, but I will not sell out, be talked out or be pushed out. I am a soldier of Christ. I am faithful, reliable, capable and dependable.

If my God needs me in Sunday school, to teach children, work with youth, help adults or just sit and learn, He can use me because I am here. I am in place, saluting my King, obeying His orders, praising His name and building up His Kingdom. I do not need to be cuddled, cradled or catered to. No one has to call me, remind me, write me, visit me, entice me or lure me.

I am a soldier of Christ. I am committed. I cannot have my feelings hurt badly enough to turn me around. I cannot be discouraged enough to be turned aside. I cannot lose enough to cause me to quit. When Jesus called me into His army, I had nothing. If I end up with nothing, I will break even. I will win. My God will supply all my needs. I am more than a conqueror. I will always triumph. I am a soldier of Christ. I can do all things through Christ. Demons cannot defeat me. People cannot disillusion me. Weather cannot weary me. Sickness cannot stop me. Battle cannot beat me. Money cannot buy me. Governments cannot silence me, and Hell cannot handle me. Even death cannot destroy me, for when my commander calls me from this battlefield, He will promote me to live with Him.

I am a soldier of Christ. I am marching, claiming victory. I will not give up. I will not turn around. I am a soldier marching Heaven bound. Here I stand. Will you stand with me?

The Soldier of Christ...A Christian Anthem.
The Soldier of Christ...A Christian Anthem.

God loves everyone, but probably prefers "fruits of the spirit" over "religious nuts"!

Matt 3:8, “bring forth fruit worthy of repentance”

Matt 7:16-20, “you shall know them by their fruits, do men gather grapes of thorns or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bring forth good fruit, but a corrupt tree brings forth evil. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit nor can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that brings not forth good fruit is hewn down and cast into the fire, wherefore by their fruits you shall know them”

Gal 5:22=24, “but the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance (self-control), against such there is no law and they that are Christ’s have crucifies the flesh with the affections and lusts”

Eph 5:9-11, “for the fruit of the spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth proving what is acceptable unto the Lord and having no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness but rather reprove them.”

James 3:17, “but the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy and the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace”

Just because someone says they have a word from God does not mean they know Jesus. There are many false Christs and Christians in the world who are deceived and deceiving others. There are many teachers that claim to know Christ and that their teaching is from Christ. How can you tell the difference from the authentic fruits of the spirit and those that are counterfeits of false teachers that transform themselves into apostles of God? By their fruits, are they overcoming evil with good? Are the cursing in Jesus name? Are they loving God by keeping His commandments or are they teaching the commandments of men? Many false teachers teach lip service will save you, saying ask the Lord into your heart and you will be saved. However Jesus said it requires more than honoring Him with your lips, He said in John 3:5, “Except a man be born of the water and the Spirit He CANNOT enter into the kingdom of God” Jesus also said this, Mark 16:15-16, “Go you into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature he that believes and is baptized shall be saved but he that does not believe will be damned”. So you can believe all those false people that tell you what their teachers, and imaginations say is God’s will to be saved or you can believe the commands of Jesus. Will you obey Jesus rather than men that are religious nuts following their imaginations and man-made doctrines? When you do follow Jesus commands to be saved, then you will produce fruits of the Spirit.

How Jesus was required to Remember the Sabbath Day...

In the Ten Commandments...which was the minimum requirements Jesus (from the tribe of Judah not a priest from the tribe of Levi) to be sinless...The remember the Sabbath Day was a commandment which when obeyed left one ready to worship on the day God would receive worship from His people...The Jew when he remembered the Sabbath Day...would have kept the other 9 commandments so according to our English Roman Calendar would have been ready to worship on Saturday...instead of offering an animal sacrifice.

Here are the Ten commandments shortened for ease from Exodus chapter 20:

1. You will have no other gods before Me.

2. You will not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth

3. You will not take the name of the LORD your God in vain

4. Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

5. Honor your father and your mother

6. You will not kill.

7. You will not commit adultery.

8. You will not steal.

9. You will not bear false witness against your neighbor.

10. You will not covet

As a Jew if you had kept the other 9 commandments then you were in the worship assembly...not the sacrifice an animal line...so remember the Sabbath Day was a requirement so you would not have to offer a sinner's sacrifice...and would have been accepted in worship.

Jesus in talking to the Samaritan woman told her anyone could be accepted on any day If they were worshiping God in Spirit and Truth...As it is written...But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeks such to worship Him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. (Joh 4:23-24)

After Jesus died and rose from the dead and the Apostles began the church on the Day of Pentecost...found recorded in the book of Acts chapter 2...this word from Jesus became in effect the replacement or the fulling of the remember the Sabbath Day so you could be accepted by God in worship.

Jesus as it is written in Mark 12:29-31 said...And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: And you will love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, you will love your neighbor as yourself. There is none other commandment greater than these. (Mar 12:29-31)

As it is written...Jesus Christ said...If any man come to Me and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after Me, cannot be my disciple. (Luk 14:26-27)

So in our terms...when go to the worship assembly we call church...remember enter to worship and leave to serve.

Pray with me...

Father please help us keep ourselves in the truth and walk in the Spirit so we can always call on You and worship You anytime...please meet our soul's deepest needs and heal our sounds caused by accidents and sinful behavior...in Jesus of Nazareth's name amen.
