Jesus heals someone who asked…sought…and knocked on His door…

As he drew near to Jericho, a blind man was sitting by the roadside begging. And hearing a crowd going by, he inquired what this meant. They told him, “Jesus of Nazareth is passing by.” And he cried out, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” And those who were in front rebuked him, telling him to be silent. But he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” And Jesus stopped and commanded him to be brought to him. And when he came near, he asked him, “What do you want me to do for you?” He said, “Lord, let me recover my sight.” And Jesus said to him, “Recover your sight; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he recovered his sight and followed him, glorifying God. And all the people, when they saw it, gave praise to God...Luke 18:35-43.


This blind beggar could not find a door but Jesus is the door to heaven. Hears about Jesus and He close by even walking by. He thinks this is good news all I have to do is get and audience with Jesus just to be heard. This blind man keeps calling on Jesus until he had a chance to ask Jesus let me recover my sight…and Jesus being full of grace and truth granted his unceasing request. He would not stop calling out to Jesus! Jesus knew what he wanted but ask what do you want me to do for you? Then after being healed he followed Jesus. May we all have a break through…and follow Jesus


We can ask Jesus in prayer in fact Jesus said ask…seek…knock and door will be opened unto you. When is the last time you called on Jesus for something you prayed about without ceasing?


Prayer

Father I ask you would heal us from our sin and infirmities…I ask that you would hear us and grant our requests for healing that we have been asking and seeking waiting for the door to be opened…please open the door and come heal us…in Jesus of Nazareth’s name amen.
