Prayer…Do not give God instructions…just report for duty...listen to what is written... 

O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and the knowledge of God! how unsearchable are His judgments, and His ways past tracing out! For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been His counsellor...Romans 11:33-34.? Even so ye also, when ye shall have done all the things that are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants; we have done that which it was our duty to do...Luke 17:10. And in like manner the Spirit also helps our infirmity: for we know not how to pray as we ought; but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered; and He that searches the hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because He maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God...Romans 8:26-27.

 

We are told to pray without ceasing but when you pray keep your words few because He already knows what you need. We are recipients of knowledge, wisdom, understanding and every good thing we cannot give God advice…Jesus is the source of all truth. God is omniscience meaning He already knows all things after all He created the tree of the knowledge of all that is good and evil and when did the knowledge of evil come into the earth? After Eve and Adam ate of the tree after breaking the command not to. Afterwards sin came into the world! We are but children in diapers before Almighty God…so when you are praying just report for duty do not give God instructions.


Jesus said...He that believes and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieves shall be condemned...Mark 16:16.
